When she took me for my wash, I almost fell asleep from the amazing scalp and neck massage. 45 minutes later, I walked out of there feeling like a Disney princess. My hairstylist was Erika Fury. She took my temperature, offered me water or a drink, then assessed my hair and asked what I wanted to do with my hair. Its been a while since I did my hair due to COVID. I did however cut my hair short during the summer since it was so hot. I needed a change so I wanted to go lighter like a balayage type. My first session Erika highlighted my hair. The service was great and It was relaxing to be able to have time to just sit there for a few hours since I'm always working. Erika suggested going back after 2 weeks for a second session. During the 2 weeks I noticed my hair getting lighter. I went back for my second session and I believe she did a process to make my hair lighter then toned and did a smudge processes which took about 4 hours. After she was done I was so happy with the way my hair looked and felt. She did recommend using a purple shampoo which helps the color and keeps hair light and Olaplex bonding oil to keep hair healthy and shiny, and coming back after 6-8 weeks and see how light my hair gets and what my next hair goals were. (I kinda want to go lighter, maybe try lavender. But we shall see in the next few weeks) Erika also does hair and make up for events and weddings. So if you need a MUA and hairstylist she's the one! For those who're not fans of the shampoo component of salon visits, Yoshi might very well convert you: washing was thorough and seamlessly executed, with a warm towel placed under your neck, and the scalp massage= sheer magic! Walked out of the salon, relaxed and rejuvenated, 18" of hair lighter, and very happy with my haircut, which I've received many compliments on! I will say it was fun for a minute, but, again, not what I wanted. After almost a month of living with it, I needed it fixed. It faded drastically and looked like 6 months of grow out. It was horrible! I called Lisa, at The Beauty Spot, and explained my situation. They were booked until December. I asked if she could take my name and number for an earlier cancellation. She said she would talk to her team and call me back. Within minutes, she called back and gave me Randi's number. I messaged her with pictures of my hair. She was able to schedule me, three days later, to fix my color. The day of my appt, I showed Randi the color I was going for. I'll be honest, I was nervous and praying the third time was the charm for my hair color. Randi was awesome! She took a few minutes to really look at my hair to see what was done. I think she sensed my nervousness and explained what she was doing. She told me it would be a two step process to fix. Randi was super cute and wouldn't let me watch.
