I kept my fingers crossed and hope for the best. From the moment I walked into Dr. Sasson's office I had a great feeling. I LOVED everything ... the setup, the cleanliness and the friendly courteous staff. When I met Dr. Sasson, I liked him immediately. He listened to my concerns, answered ALL my many questions, showed me before and after pics and went over how he would help me achieve my goal. He took the time to explain my procedure, and made me feel at ease. He was pleasant, personable, caring & friendly and I knew my search was over. What I love most about Dr. Sasson and his office staff is the way they treated me as a patient and a person. I remember my first post op visit, I was hunched over like an old lady but was saved the awkwardness of sitting in the office to wait. I made a phone call from downstairs and they were waiting for me at the back door to escort me in. How many doctor's give out their personal phone number? Dr. Sasson does! I was panicked one night and felt embarrassed to call so I texted him, I immediately received a call from him. It was easy to schedule a critical appointment with his office. I met Dr Sasoon after falling and suffering a comminuted and dislocated nasal fracture along with laceration of nose, the ER nurse happened to tell me that Dr Sasson was on call that day at the hospital and she highly recommeneded that I see him as a consult. I was hesitant at first believing that the hospital was pushing their surgeons on me however I agreed. In short, not only was Dr Sasson a compassionate and friendly individual, but took the time to fully explain all the options I had to treat my fracture, as well as including my wife in the discussion. I wound up agreeing to having him perform a closed reduction of my fracture right there in the ER, along with his suturing my laceration. While the prcocdeure itself is something I hope to never have to go through again, he was kind and reassuring througout! Afterwards he took time to speak to my wife again, as well as giving me his personal cell phone to contact him over the weekend should there be any problems, he followed up 2 days later with a personal phone call to my home. My follow up 1 week later at his office was quick, with minimal waiting, and professional treatment of my self by all his staff, including his Medical Assistant, Physicians Assistant, and front desk receptionist. I meet dr sasson in the emergency rm. That's was the best part of my day. I had a severe wound to my calve after falling on a piece of metal. He did everything he could to sew me back up after repairing some torn ligaments, tendons and muscles but I ended up with an infection. I meet him at St. Francis the next day. I was admitted and ended up getting surgery. Him and his team were amazing. They made me feel like I was there only concern. Even after my surgery someone came every day to check on me and to make sure I wasn't in too much pain. When I got home we texted him at 9:00 at night with a question on wound care . He called back in two minutes. What Dr does that !! He is personable,calm and polite and explains everything to you in layman terms. His staff at the office are great also. They take care of you like you a family member. I owe a lot to him. I could have lost my leg from the knee down if it wasn't for him. If you want a dr with the knowledge and bedside manner that you will always remember, then go see him. My daughter had tendon repair surgery with Dr. Sasson due to a scissor injury that another child in her class inflicted on her left ring finger. Sweetest, most caring, honest doctor I have EVER been to. I had a rhinoplasty done by him, completely for cosmetic reasons. I was unhappy with my nose but now it is a few weeks short from a year after my surgery and I could not be happy with his service and my results. The whole office treats you like royalty. After the surgery I was reason embrasured due to the expected bruising and swelling (I looked like an avatar). But when I got into the office they took me right in back to avoid anymore embarrassment...without me asking. After a nasal fracture that shattered my nasal bones, Dr. Sasson was able to fix my nose and made it look even better than before the injury. After the surgery I only took one percocet then tylenol for a few days. After a week, my face looked back to normal. It was amazing. My fingers were lacerated when I fell off my bicycle and flew into a street sign pole. I am so grateful Dr. Sasson was available on a Sunday to expertly (and almost painlessly) stitch up my fingers. 5 weeks later, my fingers are fully healed, no significant scars, I have regained full range of motion of my fingers, and have no pain.
