Sono Bello is absolutely amazing!!! I have already told so many people, friends and family, about how great my entire experience was, from start to finish. So, I thought I'd spread the word to more people. First of all, I'm 52 and I have had these large "saddlebags" since my early 30's. I have tried dieting and nothing. I tried exercise and nothing. These saddlebags would just not leave and I was becoming more and more self-conscious about them. I walk on average 5 miles a day (to and from work - I live in Manhattan). But NOTHING was making these "problem areas" reduce. Fed up I made a promise to myself to take care of it for my own personal happiness (having tried diet and exercise to no avail). So the first thing I did was do some internet research on Liposuction and Laser-Liposuction. I found many places in Manhattan that do this procedure and decided on getting free consultations from three. The first one I went to was Sono Bello because it's very close to my office. I met with Lillianna (in the Manhattan office on Madison Avenue) and she was absolutely amazing. She has a very comforting way about her and made the entire process relaxed and positive. I honestly believe she quoted me the best price possible for the procedure. Doing my due diligence I went to two other "cosmetic surgery" clinics. First and foremost they didn't hold a candle to the customer service I received at Sono Bello. Secondly, Sono Bello was considerably less expensive. I contemplated for about a month and then went for it. I'd say the only drawback is that they do the surgery in Lake Success (although I believe there is another location in Westchester). I had a pre-Op appointment in Lake Success a couple of weeks later. And then the surgery. The entire staff was fantastic. At first there was a little difficulty getting in touch with a nurse because there was an issue with getting the meds I needed from Oxford. But that was cleared up in a day or so. The day of the pre-Op I met the nurses and the doctor who would perform the surgery. They measured me, photographed me and thoroughly went over the procedure and what I should expect as far as pain and recovery. The day of the surgery (entire process took about 2 1/2 hours) went very smoothly. This was my first experience with any elective surgery so I was a little nervous but everyone there made me feel very comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. I live in Manhattan and I was a little worried about getting up the four flights of stairs in my walk up. But it was not a problem. The surgery was on a Saturday and there was some pain when I got home and on Sunday. The doctor even called me Saturday evening to make sure I was okay. WHO DOES THAT!? By Monday the pain was 80% gone and by Tuesday 95% gone. I took Monday and Tuesday off from work but I don't think I really needed to.... that's a personal choice I suspect. The doctor and nurses warned me that there would be some leakage of the fluid they inject but I had very little leakage. I only had to use one pad. I had my post-Op appointment about 10 days after the surgery and a lot of the swelling had already subsided. There is still some bruising and the area is a tiny bit numb and tender (not really painful). I have been massaging the area as directed to remove any lumps and it really seems to be doing the trick. They told me from the beginning that it can take 3 to 6 months to really get the results I'm looking for but I can already see a HUGE difference. I cannot recommend this procedure, through Sono Bello, enough. It has given me a totally new perspective on life. No joke. I love wearing tight jeans and leggings and it's only been THREE WEEKS! These are NOT cosmetic surgery professionals, they are con-artist and thieves! I went for the "free consultation" that they keep spamming my email with and got the worst shock of my life at the consultation with a representative named Liliana. She was very uninformed about how cosmetic surgery procedures work safely and informed me that my entire 2 hours of procedures would be done without any general anesthesia! I almost hit the floor but knew I had to continue to investigate. I also explained to her that I received coupons from Sonó Bello for $250 off each body part that had a procedure, to which she scoffed at me like I was making the whole thing up. I even had the coupon on my phone to show her and she kept saying, "No, no, no!...we don't have that here!" It took everything out of me not to get up and just walk out of her office. She was rude and condescending to me and I happen to have a great deal of medical knowledge and training, especially as a former first responder for the City of New York. Let me be clear, Sono Bello is a dangerous organization performing complicated procedures by cutting corners so that they can keep more profits instead of making sure the procedures are done more safe. Invasive procedures such as these require some form of general anesthesia for the safety and comfort of the patient, for the $14,000 this should all be included within the "package" she was selling me. I could not get any doctor or medical professionals to approve me for the surgery because I have a condition that could be potentially fatal when met with the dangerous surgical methods practiced at Sono Bello. Although Liliana scheduled me for the procedure without my personal physician's approval, she instead decided to harass me into speaking with her about not canceling, like some kind of high pressure sales tactic. I was a very successful sales agent for many years within the real estate and insurance industries, and I NEVER pressured any of my customers or clients for a sale. If it's a good deal today, it will be the same good deal tomorrow. If not, then it's some kind of fraud taking place and it is currently being investigated. I want my $1,000 fully refundable deposit that was fraudulently taken from my credit card returned to me at once. Thank you. read more

I paid a lot of money ,including the happy guarantee! scam, they don't tell you that you need to be seen by a doctor that you have never seen before to ok a revise! the surgeon that did two of my procedures was let go and know one even had the courtesy to call before they let him go ! Do NOT recommend. I was scheduled for a procedure and was not cleared by my doctor. Liliana assured me that in the event of not receiving clearance all monies would be returned. Fast forward to the expected date of my procedure, I am not cleared by my doctor. The nurse (Marina) is the one who calls me on the date my procedure was scheduled to occur to let me know she spoke to my doctor and I was not cleared. I speak to Diana (a manager I guess) who assures me I will be refunded in 2-3 weeks. Liliana (patient consultant) who promises results that are far different from what the doctor says (but you don't actually see a doctor until after leaving a deposit) calls me to say that I need to reschedule or I will lose my deposit because my doctor cleared me. It's important to note that at this point my doctor hasn't even received my bloodwork back; there's no way he could've cleared me. This is her calling me after I emailed to ask in what manner my credit would be issued. I ask to speak to Diana, the manager, who I was on hold to speak to when Lily's call came in. Lily tells me Diana is not in the office on that day. Mind you, the front office staff put me on hold to wait to speak to Diana, which of course I bring up. Eventually I speak to Diana, who I was told wasn't there that day and she is saying there is no record of me not being cleared. This is a week after she said I would be refunded in 2-3 weeks. The nurse from SonoBello is the one that called me to say I was not cleared. 3 weeks have passed and 1) I have not received a refund. 2) Diana the manager I emailed 2 weeks ago about it has still not replied to the email. 3) Neither Diana or Liliana are ever available when I call. Initially I was considering rescheduling my service, but after all of this I will be taking my business elsewhere. If they are they apathetic in this situation, I can't imagine the horror of having to deal with them should I need assistance after a procedure is done. This has been the most terrible experience of my life. I had two laser lipo procedures done in sonobello. The first was on January 30, 2021, for my stomach, lower back and sides. I felt pain on three occasions during the surgery where it felt like I was being burned inside, it was pain. I tried to dismiss it because I thought it was part of the surgery but it was definitely not what I expected. The second surgery was on February 17 2021,  for my upper back and that was an absolute nightmare. I truly believe the medicine did not work at all. I felt everything from the beginning to the end. I screamed and cried throughout the whole procedure and the only thing the doctor said to me was "stop screaming." Just got to my 3:00 appointment at 3:16, was told that they have a grace period of 10 minutes so I have to reschedule ( when I made the appointment it said that would hold it until after 4) after sitting in traffic for 20 minutes I was to reschedule, not only that the odor in there was really foul, it smells like rotten food garbage, I was getting ready to ask her to open the door, VERY unpleasant smell , will not be rescheduling if so definitely not there, receptionist was very obnoxious. I am writing to warn potential customers / paitients regarding the treatment I received from Dr. Dimitrious Koumanis at Sono Bello New Hyde Park location. I had abdominal and waist liposuction, but what transpired during the procedure was nothing short of a horrific experience. From the beginning of operation, I communicated to Dr. Koumanis that the numbing and pain medication was not effective and that I could still feel the pain of the needle. Despite my clear and repeated indications that the anesthesia was not working, Dr. Koumanis disregarded my distress and continued the procedure with aggressive force. I could feel everything, which caused excruciating pain, I felt as if i was being repeatedly stabbed. This experience was so traumatic that I genuinely feared for my life and thought of the possibility of my daughter losing me. The lack of empathy and professionalism displayed by Dr. Koumanis is unacceptable and has left me in severe pain and distress. No patient should have to endure such an ordeal, especially when entrusting their health and wellbeing to a medical professional. Drove 45 minutes and waited over an hour to have a consult with an unlicensed patient care coordinator who took my height and weight, looked at my problem areas and decided what I need. Everyone was incredibly nice, but why wouldn't they be? They charged me more money for liposuction than it would have cost for a tummy tuck. The person who told me I was a candidate was not a doctor or a nurse; she was a saleswoman. The doctor reviewed me quickly, after I had already signed paperwork and confirmed that I was a candidate. Now, what I'm left with is a ton of sagging skin. It was around $11,000. From everything I'm looking up online, it should have cost closer to $4,000. To add insult to injury, the doctor told me after the procedure that I would benefit from a tummy tuck, since I had all the fat sucked out first. WTF? I had my procedure on January 4, 2020 with Dr. Sheridan at the Long Island location. It was the most horrible experience of my life. The surgery was very painful as the anesthesia didn't work well for me, the nurses expressed that it was the first time they experienced what I went through in the surgery room. Dr Sheridan claimed that it was scars from the previous lipo that made it hard for him and painful for me. Dr Sheridan said the scar prevented the anesthesia from working. Before my lower abdomen skin extraction, I begged them to stop the procedure cos I was in so much pain. I was scared that I was going to die. But they went on with the extraction and it was raw pain when Dr. Sheriden cut into my skin. I screamed and screamed then he inject my abdomen again. He said he has injected the maximum amount of anesthesia he's permitted to use. After my experience at the surgery room. I tried talking to the doctor and the management of Sono Bello to explain to me why they almost killed me. The manager said she will investigate on what happened on the day of my surgery and call me back, but she never called back. I guess they were scared because I threatened that I was going to sue Sono bello. My surgery after result is something everyone call Botched work. My abdomen is facing down, one side of my belly is bigger than one side, I've been having abdominal pain and my doctor said it's because my abdominal botton is over stretched and is very low, so now I'm getting ready for another surgery to fix the look of my belly. It's been very very challenging for me cos I can't get over the trauma i experienced during my surgery at sono bello. I am so scared of having surgery again. The only reason I haven't sued Sono bello is because Dr. Sheridan was very kind to me. He has a great bed side manner. MY Experience: I called in to make an appointment for a free consultation and the receptionist booked it out for 3 weeks. I called from time to time to see if anyone cancelled. Since I had taken the day off from work I was able to get fit in today. I came in early to fill out routine paperwork. I had to wait an hour after my initial appointment time to be seen because the person I was suppose to see was running late so I meant with the office manager. She was very pleasant and answered all my questions and gave me the breakdown of what I would expect. I watch the commercials and did my mini research online regarding the practice but the trick is the "starting price of $1200 per area" only applies to people with a BMI of 18-20.......if my BMI is between 18-20 then I would not waste my time being here. Since mines is over 37 my starting price is $5,000 plus the abdomen is considered 2 areas & other fees. Total price would be $9,000 I guess I need to start going to the gym twice a day to make my $20 monthly membership give me the results I need. read more

These people sold us a song and a dance they explained the details of the proceedure then they rushed us to pay $11000 upfront for it. A few days later we found out we couldnt do the proceedure because of a health condition so they said yes they will refund the money it took almost 2 months to get it back. When my wife called they would tell her corporate has to approve it and it was approved on what ever the date is they gave her which is multiple dates. Then she got tired after a month of calling them then she told me to take over well i dont play games with fools. They intentionally did not want to refund the money they were holding on to it and gave me an excuse every time i called then i showed up at the lake success office where the proceedure was supposed to be done and they know i was going to hurt somebody for my money so without saying much in 10 min they had all the refunds done. so almost 2 months they were delaying so they can hold on to it. Hello, I've been going to Sonobello for about 5 months to get Venus on my thighs, I got to know the office well and the staff. I am now comfortable enough and decides to get the Lipo on my upper, lower and luv handles done. My procedure was July 18, 2017. My doctor was Dr. Dipierto she was very good. My nurse Tisa was very good as well front desk is always friendly. The doctor called me that same night to check on me and the following day so did Tisa. I'm still sore but I must say I already see that my luv handles are gone and even thou my stomach is still sore and swollen I see potential of a good out come. I don't have bruising just still sore. let me start this review with i ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SONO BELLO OFFICE. This was the BEST decision I have ever made! I have always struggled with my weight and no matter how much I dieted or tried to excercise I never could achieve the results I wanted. To be honest being a career woman and a mother of 2 made it difficult at times to juggle it all and still make time to work out. But even with making time to work out I just would get discouraged because I wouldn't see results fast enough. A friend of mine mentioned one night over dinner that 3 of her coworkers had a procedure done with SONO BELLO and that it was affordable and very minimal recovery time. After 6 months of research and contemplating I finally decided to take the plung and schedule my appoint for a consultation. Carolina was the most patient and informative consultant I have ever dealt with. She Answered every question I could possible think of and worked around my schedule. She followed up with a phone call 2 days after my consultation and I decided to schedule my apt with the dr. I went to my dr for medical clearance as I had some medical issues while delivering my second child and I love the fact that when my blood results came back with some issues Katie the office manager insisted I go for more blood work rather then just schedule my appointment and put my health on the line. That shows they are not there just to take your money. They really do care. The day of the surgery dr Neinstein and the nurses made me feel so comfortable and the procedure was virtually painless. The first 2 days are a bit uncomfortable but not as painful as my 2 c-section recoveries. I called the office and spoke to Susan so many times with questions that we started referring to each other as Bffs. Overall my experience from beginning to end was absolutely amazing! This is the most professional and compassionate office I have ever dealt with. For those who are curious I had back, stomach and hip fat removed and within 3-4 days people were already noticing a slimmer waist. I am loving my body and it's only 2 weeks post surgery and I am still swollen. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE AND PROCEDURE to anyone who is thinking of doing it.
