Got my nails & toes done here a week ago today. First to nail post was messed up after I slept. Mind you i had the toes done during the day and they had plenty of time to dry. So their polish is old...... Second my nails are already cheating badly and I have gel polish on. I came here for a Gel manicure of my natural nails I was told in order to clean up the cuticles I'd need to buy an "express mani" for $12. (Yet my cuticles have dry & pieces of skin hanging off ) Adding to the cost of the $30 acrylic powder (that i was admittedly talked into thinking it was a more natural type of fake nail. That's how it was sold .). Not to mention, another $14 for gel polish, and $6 for a "design on 2 fingers " ( the design was just painting the nails with glitter. Adding stones to my actual skin- covering places that she didn't fill correctly with the acrylic. I showed a simple picture and was told it wasn't a problem.. Ended up leaving with clunky, uneven nails messed up matte over coat & jewels glued to my skin. I was the last person of the day, it took forever- i should have said something - but i didn't. I stressed how much i didn't want this to happen. I dm'd the insta account w no response the morning after . I wouldn't have even come today in asking for them to be redone if my entire nail didn't peel off today. I've never paid this amount for nails in my life. This chick was so rude & only shut her mouth when she saw I was recording our interaction.. She filed my nails down giving mad attitude like I'm a child - repeating herself each time i said something then passed me off to another person. Thankfully - that woman Polished my nails nicely. One solid color- not the 2 designs, matte or gems I just paid for, but again I appreciate the woman who thinned them out & repainted them black. The technician (I believe her name was Lin or something similar) was so patient and meticulous and listened to my requests and made sure my nails turned out perfect. I feel like this place is under new management. I had gel nails done here. The nail tech cut me several times that caused me to bleed (this never happened to me before ever). My cuticle on my one finger is sore still. I'm also nervous due to reading reviews about unsafe equipment after other people's cuticles bled. There are reviews reporting the equipment not being cleaned properly after causing a customer to bleed. I use to love this salon. Hence why I came when I was in the area. My nails have bubbles in them. I watched the nail tech add extra polish to my nail to cover a hair in the polish.. I have gel on my cuticles and the polish is not precise and does not look clean. My nails look like the polish was hastily put on. I don't know this salon REALLY use to be great. I still tipped over 20% but I will never be back. My new favorite nail place! Made an appointment the day before or a full set & shellac. Showed up the day of 10 minutes before my appointment, I did have to wait a little bit but they were pretty full. They try to accommodate everyone that walks in their shop, but definitely make an emphasis on those with appointments. Lyn did my full pink & white set and it turned out amazing! First time visit to this nail salon. I took a peek at the interior before I spoke to someone and it looked clean and well organized. After the lady discussed prices for a gel pedicure with me I was in a chair immediately. The tech who worked on me Sookum (May be misspelled) was wonderful. She was gentle and took her time with my procedure. She was patient with me because I was very indecisive about my choice of polish color. After the amazing pedicure she capped it off with an oil massage on my legs and feet. OIL, not that watery lotion most salons use that leave you with volcanic level ash within an hour LOL. Overall my experience was great and Sassy will be my new pedicure home. read more

I stopped at Sassy nail on my way home, it is next to record exchange on Pearl... well, she nipped off a hunky of my finger. It bled for a long time before it slowed enough to put a band aid on it. This place has so many great aspects! Blow out bar, waxing, pedicures, manicures but most of all it has the BEST nail tech I have ever met. Her name is Susan. I generally avoid nail salons at all cost. I usually end up with a rushed manicure, or worse, bleeding because someone was too eager with the cuticle trimmer, but it was a few days before my vacation and I needed a gel manicure fast. Sassy had opened up a few weeks back so I decided to give them a try. What a difference from my usual experience! My manicure was perfect! No bleeding cuticles, no lifting edges, no polish on my skin. Two weeks later and it's holding on strong. I didn't get any nail art, but they have some really adorable styles on their Facebook page. My cousin has been in to this place for the fourth time for a fill and fix on her acrylics. She signed in and wrote down that she needed a fill and fix, the first guy did fix and walked away, and could not be found to finish her nails. The second guy was extremely rude and cared more about his pool tournament then client sitting in front of him. He grabbed his phone multiple times to check said tournament. My cousins nails aren't all the same , she asked for a matte navy blue, so why do some still have shine to it? This is not exceptable i wanted to take her back up and complain but she did not want to make a scene. DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE. SHE WILL NOT BE BACK. Everyone that works at Sassy nails is amazing! I particularly like Susan, as she really takes the time to do the job well and ensure you like the size/shape/color etc. The salon always looks and feels very clean. They have a great selection of colors, and I really appreciated that they were willing to explain the benefit of gel polish over regular and the different steps throughout the process. I unfortunately had to quit going due to new job requirements but look forward to being able to go back! My only complaint is that I had an issue with the base of my acrylics getting separated from the nail. It caused several to fall off, and if I played with my hair, it would get caught underneath. I would have liked the gunk under my nails to be cleaned but am not sure if that's included in the express mani. Well let's start off by saying my experience at sassy nails and spa was not the greatest . When I had gotten there i wanted to get a pedicure and full set to treat myself. When I was put in the pedicure chair the man that had put me in the chair had put the water for my pedicure really hot, I say there for like 40 mins thinking he was going to do my feet and he didn't they ended up pulling a younger girl to do them which I was okay with because when I had went before the same guy had did them and he was really rough with my feet I had also asked him if he could do French manicure on my feet and he did a horrible job so I just told him to paint them white. I had no problew with the younger girl she did a good job on my feet. After getting my feet done I had to wait an hour and half just so a tech who had left the store could come back to do my nails.. just for a nightmare to happen he did my nails well but what I was not looking forward to was getting a horrible infection in my nail. When I called up to the salon some woman had answered and said the only thing she could have me do at the time was to go to the salon so they could check it out after I had asked many times to talk to a manager she said one was not available until the weekend. I'm furious on how this was dealt with and I'm in pain and honestly feel like they just don't care, to me this is a serious matter with being pregnant and diabetic the infection is much worse. Literally the most unprofessional salon I've ever been to. My friend & I both went here 10 DAYS AGO for acrylic full sets & they are all popping off & lifting. Literally every finger. I called to tell them & after going back & forth about it for 10 minutes I was told to come in for "examination." The lady looked at my nails & told me that she could tell that this wasn't from natural causes & that they have been pushed. She basically was saying that this was something that we did & not the actual application that was the problem. Why would we both pay to get our nails done & then purposely try to pop them off?? Then she called her husband who is the owner & was TALKING ABOUT ME to him right in front of me..saying how I was giving her a hard time & "I know I told her" told me what?? I really don't understand how there is any excuse for this. She gave me the phone & he said that acrylic nails last 2 weeks & I should have called 3-4 days after. I told him this didn't happen till a week after & I didn't call until it got really bad. Acrylics shouldn't lift even after 2 weeks?? I usually go every 3 & never ever had this happen. He couldn't believe that I do hair & never had acrylics lift..I said yeah because they are done properly where I usually go. It could cause an infection when water gets underneath an acrylic which it is because they are lifting so badly. This has never happened before. Of course they don't do refunds so she wrote us both $40 gift cards (way less than what we paid) when I already stated we clearly don't want to come back. I cannot believe how unprofessional this situation was handled & this was our first (and last) time here. I came in with full physical proof that we have messed up nails & we were accused of causing this issue ourselves. From pushing on them & from doing hair....My friend works from home so what's the excuse for her? What an absolute joke. read more

I'm pissed I got shellac done.... the guy did a poor job and barley filed my nails or didn't even ask Me what shape I wanted... had the clear shellac polish all over my finger (skin) it started peeling 2days after i got them.I got a French manicure my lines aren't even .... and i paid 37 plus tip.. won't see me again. read more
