This experience was not great. The AC didn't seem to be working as they has the front door open which was allowing a lot of "herbal" smells in and made it warm inside. We made a reservation several weeks ago through Google to get nails done for a bridal party and family before a wedding. We have an entire conversation with a staff member online. When we arrived, it was very busy with no chairs visibly open. We told the staff we had made a reservation and they said they had no record of that reservation. Their tones were very rude and condescending despite us having messages confirming our reservation. We were so excited to relax and celebrate the bride prior to her wedding. So, they seem very busy and with good reason given the majority of reviews however, they are too distracted, they are all over the place. I was probably left soaking for about 25 minutes, I'm just room temp water - they're supposed to put in the blue stuff in to soak- it was just spread across too many people that had a "spare minute" one person sat me down, another started the water, someone else came over and turned on the jet, then just waiting. I didn't see any of the tools used on me get sanitized or discarded so... nothing here looks sanitary in the least- they took a hand light for gels to use for my feet... I mean.... my feet are so pruney bc they've been soaking for so long ... My technician took FOREVER to do my pedicure- I'm still sitting in this chair - feeling like I'm being held hostage- it's been 1.5 hours and she is taking probably about 1-2 minutes to paint each individual toe ... my ass hurts bc I've been sitting here for so long. A lady came in about an hour after me and she is going to get out of here way before me - lucky another technician came in and tapped out mine so that saved me 5 years off of sitting there. (just a lose estimate) I left without a full pedicure, with red gel polish all over my ankles somehow and basically out of $43 bucks. Would not recommend and would not return. Update: I also have nail polish on my jeans so there goes some more money down the tubes ... I did not have Yelp before visiting this place but my experience was so bad I felt like I needed to warn other people. The place was super unsanitary. The lady "cleaned"the tools used with just a towel and put it back to be used for another customer. Nail tech did not know what she was doing with my pedicure and ended up hurting me a few times while trying to cut my cuticles. Their version of a massage was to slather on some lotion...they were busy but they should have at least slowed down better to ensure a somewhat mediocre service. The whole time this guy (I'm assuming is the owner) was trying to grab my phone telling me to write a good review on Yelp...I'm guessing that might explain the misleading 5 star reviews on this place. Tina did a wonderful job on my nails; I got pink and white done for a natural classic nail:) However, I'm picky lol and noticed a few things the next day that I wanted to get fixed. I was hoping Sassy Nails Salon would be my go-to for waxing services, but I left disappointed and in discomfort. While Tina was pleasant enough, her skills at waxing were lacking. I went in for a half leg wax; a treatment I have been receiving for at least 20 years and one that I perform on myself at times. Rather than ripping the wax off the skin, she peeled it off. Not only was it more uncomfortable, but my legs were left with stubble as the hair was not removed at the root. I wax to eliminate stubble! I will not return, but rather look for another salon or continue to do it myself. In addition, after reading some of the other reviews, I can confirm that sterilization of tools does not occur at this salon. A huge health code violation! read more

Their menu shows $18 for a gel manicure which turned into $35 for a gel polish & no manicure/massage or trimming of the hang nails & done in less than 10 minutes. Had tips out on and when done the nail polish was on my skin looked horrible and within a week they were lifting up from my nail. The people who work there are so friendly and courteous...they really make you feel special and relaxed, plus they make your hands and feet look fabulous!! The last time I was there, I was in town for a wedding and needed to look my best because my hands and feet were quite literally on a pedestal for all to see. Sassy Nails hooked me and the other bridesmaid up and we looked awesome! I couldn't have been happier or more relaxed for the big day. I can't wait for my next trip so I can come see Peter and the rest of the crew again. It was an ok visit. The employees who were doing our pedicures first wanted to know if I spoke their language...I assume so that they could talk trash about us while they did a standard job. They were quick to finish and made me feel like I was bothering them when I asked questions. I did this mostly for the wife so she would have another reason to enjoy our vacation, but she was not impressed or wants to go back again. The best nail salon in town! Great service and a really thorough job. I came with my best friend and had such a relaxing and welcoming experience. We came in on a Monday afternoon and were seated right away after picking out colors. I highly recommend upgrading to the $40 pedicure to get the sugar scrub and mask. (Jasmine smelled divine!) I came to the salon a few weeks ago and had wonderful service and was very pleased with my manicure and pedicure. Today's visit was VERY different. The woman who did my pedicure did very well, but the gentleman who did my manicure gave me one of my worst manicures, to be honest. He was VERY rushed, tore skin off of two of my fingers, did not ask if I wanted my nails squared or rounded and when I asked for them to be rounded, he seemed annoyed that I asked (they're still square). My nails look extremely rough, not even in size/shape at all, and he filed down so much of my middle nail that I have been in pain off and on since leaving (almost an hour and a half ago). That nail was one to have substantial skin torn off and the right side was rounded way deeper than it should so I'm expecting it to either 1. Not heal correctly or 2. Turn into an ingrown nail at some point. Not worth the $35 I paid for a gel manicure. Overall, I am unsure if I will be returning. read more

I agree the place is very clean. I am in this area on vacation and figured I would take my girls for the princess mani/pedi. I read the description and it seemed like a great experience. I was so wrong, the service they provided and what is described are two different things. Online it says they receive mail art and there are beverages. They received non of that, they sat in with the adults as well even though to pictures show their own private area. Also the price they told me when I came in the door changed by the time it was time to pay. All on all I wasted $65.00 for a horrible experience and to top it off the polish is already peeling from their nails. My best advice is to not waste your time or money on this place. read more
