Jeff has done my Gel Nails and Toes for at least 5 years. His tools are always sanitized and safe. Beautiful gel removal and cuticle work. I have never had ANY polish on my cuticles. I am very happy with this place! Finally a nail salon that gives out quality work. I had been looking for a good nail place out here. And after trying many different ones; sassy nails is my go to. I made an appointment, it's very very clean. They require you to wash your hands upon entering, which is great especially during this pandemic going on. The only downfall is the color selection, they didn't have much which took me a bit time to pick a color. The prices were a little higher, than what im use to. $15 for gel add-on. Which I haven't gotten use to the prices in general of all nail places out here. They're almost alike in prices especially for gel. I got a pedicure w gel and acrylic soak off and gel manicure. I had Paul, he was very gentle and he took his time!!! Even though he was busy back to back w clients he still took his time. I left very satisfied w my nails and toes!!! I LOVE Sassy Nails. Since I moved to Union, two years ago, this is the only nail salon I will go to, I recommend it HIGHLY and often! An appointment time may not be necessary, but I would suggest that you make a phone call prior to going. They may have an opening, but they stay booked with their regular Clients. This is by far my favorite place to go to get my nails done!! They have great prices && the staff is extremely friendly. They take the time to chat with you && get to know you which really makes you feel welcome. The facility is nice, open && clean. They have music playing but it's not overly loud. Also went here for a pedicure && after having gone to 3 other salons for the same service, I will only be coming here from now on!! Best experience ever!! Everyone there went above and beyond to make my experience wonderful. Wow what a great experience! It was my first time at Sassy Nails, I made an appointment and I got in exactly at that time. I had my old gel polish removed and new polish applied. Paul assisted me and he was great! Super professional, friendly, and paid close attention to detail. My nails turned out beautiful!! As for the look of the salon, it's nicely decorated and clean. I have to say that I seriously have just found the best nail salon ever! All the reviews I read said you needed an appointment so I called and the wonderful receptionist indicated if I came before 1 o'clock I could just walk in. Showed up at noon picked out my color and was in the chair within five minutes. Joe did my nails and he did an absolutely perfect job! He talked with me at length about what was really important to me in regards to how my nails looked. He picked up right away that I was very picky about the shape of my nails. The end result was absolutely amazing! The receptionist was super sweet, the salon was neat and clean, I love the rustic decor. They also had current music playing which was refreshing. I am very disappointed with the quality of my gel service at this salon. My manicure was super rushed (with no extras - no lotion, massage, etc.), even though I had made an appointment three or four days prior. Also, the point of a gel manicure is its toughness and longevity; however, a substantial chip (about a quarter of my pointer finger) occurred not even four days after my initial service. Regular manicures last longer than this. When I contacted them about the chip, they did say they would touch up the manicure; however, due to work/social obligations, (I work in Mason and live half an hour away from this salon), I wasn't able to come in that day. When I tried to come in two days later, I was told they were booked for the holiday and to try next week. When I tried again, I was given an appointment and then told that since it had been two weeks, I had to pay full price for my manicure. Sorry, not happening. I will say, the tech (a different person) who did my pedicure took his time and did a great job. The REGULAR polish from that service is just now chipping, and it has been two weeks. read more

I normally don't post reviews but I've had some interesting experiences at this particular nail salon, I have been to this location at least four times now, for a full set of Acrylic nails and for three Fill ins, The first time I went in I got a full set of acrylic nails which are coffin shaped they looked OK i've seen better Shaped coffin nails they weren't exactly shaped enough on the sides to make them actually look like a coffin instead They looked Square, then the second time I got them filled by different person this person drilled my nails so hard they begin to burn and hurt they were overall very rough with my hands and my nails but the nail result actually turned out nice,The third time I got a person I had never went to before she did the whole process in a very short amount of time,dented my nail polish with her own finger nail and the nails were all different shapes and lengths, then the last time that I went I got the same lady in hopes that maybe she wouldn't hurt me with The drill this time and she still Did,she also cut my cuticles down so far that my fingers bled were swollen for days, basically the positives of this place are you can get very pretty nails and they're very clean,but the negatives are you might be in pain and may not get exactly what you want depending on the person that does your nails. read more

I switch from Serenity nails to here just to try something new and I was very disappointed. My fake nails lasted one day and I payed 60 dollars for them. This was my first time to sassy nails. First impression was very good. I love the rustic decor. Defiantly wasn't expecting that from a nail salon. They are usually decorated very cheesy. But I loved it! I came in for a gel manicure without an appointment and I only waited 5 mins. They have a good selection of gel nail polish colors and I was in and out in under an hour. I have heard great things about this nail salon so I finally decided to make an appointment and try it out. I have been getting SNS for about a year now because I like my natural nails and the SNS keeps them hard, and lasts longer etc. Well I got my nails done on a Friday at Sassy Nails and they chipped the next day, today is Sunday and I now have another crack. The lady who did my nails needed a step by step guide on how to apply SNS, so she wasn't even experienced. I'm very annoyed, considering I paid money for them to look nice and heard that they were a very experienced and a great salon. I'm not discrediting everyone there, but the nail techs should at least be up to date on current nail trends and adapt to it. Considering that's how it goes. I have found the best place in NKY to get a mani / pedi. Customer service is their priority and they bend over backwards to please you. You are not rushed at all. My hour long pedicure was superb. I also had a new acrylic set applied to my nails. Jeff listened to all concerns and shaped my nails exactly as requested. None of the other salons seemed to care. I was pampered here all the way. It was also refreshing to have a conversation with the manicurist. Terrible! I had gels/shellac to be removed and the girl almost filed down through my nail before I yelled and told her to stop. Took several months to recover. Also man who did my manicure used his fingernail to remove my old polish! Ugh. Will never go back. read more
