Basic pedicure. Tech was very nice, but other than that very lackluster. My feet are never very dry or rough, but after this pedicure they're the driest and roughest they've ever been. Clean! Professional! Relaxing! Things to know: I watched them over and over again sterilize the pedicure bowls and instruments even though there was a good amount of clients when I was there. Walk ins mostly. So you may wait a bit BUT pedi customers get to wait in the massage chairs and warm water. Really nice friendly staff, but allowed me to relax during my pedi. This is a great salon. They are very personable once they meet you. My favorite tech is Mark however I know several of them are excellent. The owner is super nice and always remembers me. This salon does not take appointments and the wait time will vary. Prepare to wait if there's a school dance or wedding season but they are worth the wait. I love going to Zen Nails. I've been a half a dozen times and I have my favorite nail technicians but all of them are great. Prices are good. Pedis are awesome. The salon is always very clean and Leanna (owner) is on point the entire day. This place is never empty, so you know that's a good sign. I get the Gel Dip and I swear I can push it to three weeks because they do such a good job. I am a nail snob- and I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Men- I see a bunch of you guys in there. Go! I love how they do your nails. I don't love how they won't acknowledge you when you walk in. They do not accept appointments, and a lot of times I walk in to not even hear how long you will be stuck waiting. A general "it will be 20 minutes" would be preferable to being left to rot in a chair in the front. 2 years later, unless LA is there, don't expect speedy anything. She acknowledges you and gives you a time idea. Still no appointments. On Tuesdays...they have 3 total workers which is hard with them being closed on Sunday and Monday. I had to request a timeframe...I was told 30 minutes, I've been sitting here an hour. It's frustrating but I am not sure where else will do such a good job . read more

I went to Zen after reading all the reviews and thought they would be the best in my area, I was wrong. I went on a Wednesday and it is now Friday, my nails look as though I have Lee press on nails. They are thick and some look upturned and miss shaped (I asked for them to be short and squared with rounded edges). On some, you can actually see the sides of my own nails because of the way she cut them down. There was one person who was extremely nice in the salon and she was doing all the restocking work. I decided to try here because i have recently moved back and am looking for a regular place to go. The place is cute and easy to get to. They do not have a lot of color selections (neither in variety or glittery or etc.) for shellac nails which was disappointing but they had the core colors. I was in and out within 40 minutes which was great and not a long wait. But I was disappointed that I did not get a full manicure and they just cut my nails down and changed the color. It was bad. 1. she didn't check the temperature of the water so when I put my foot in, it scalded my skin 2. She didn't trim enough off my nails but what she did trim, she did straight across 3. she barely filed at all so, combined with #2, I now have sharp edges that caught on my sheets 4. she did not use cuticle remover at all and when she was pushing my cuticle s back, she pushed with enough force as to make it uncomfortable 5. she applied the callus remover but did not give it the requisite time to do its work before she started with the pumice stone. Consequently, my heels are even more rough than when I went in 6. the polishing job is shoddy at best. I paid for a pedicure to feel pampered and so I didn't have to do it myself. Now I am going to have to spend time today fixing what she did. On a side note, they asked for a review on their site. I noticed after I submitted it that, although they say there are 96 reviews, their site will only show you the 5-star ones read more

Called and was told there would be little to no wait. Brought my daughter and we came in. Very impressed with how welcome they made us feel. They even had drinks for mommy! But I have had my nails 10 days and one has already fallen off and the others are very lose and could easily be peeled off. Just moved to the area and decided to try Zen Nails out based on the reviews. They did not disappoint. The man who did my gel fill was fanatic. Easy to talk to. Was very detail oriented and even recommended nail colors for me to try. I ended up going with a "mood" color that changes based on temperature and most of the time they look ombré and it's amazing just as he said they would look. I have gone here once in November and do not plan to return unless I only need them painted by Mark and only him. I needed a full set for the first time after letting my nails grow without anything on them and this was a bad decision on salon for me. The woman who started my set cut my finger with the electric file (and swore to Mark she didn't), dented my natural nail near the cuticle because of filing down so far (almost all fingers STILL have a line of damage at the end of February), and painted my nails so badly when Mark went to put a design he removed all polish, filed, and reshaped my nails before doing anything. This is the only review I have left on yelp but I feel it's necessary for people considering this salon to know what can happen. read more
