I might overlook how much of a joke this movie theater is, if the people that worked there were actually nice. This was my first time there, apparently you need to show them your tickets at the food counter. I bought mine on the website, and got accused Of trying to sneak in "Disneys Mufasa", with my 11 year old, by the nerdy looking guy at the counter The theater itself is disgusting with garbage all over. Worst Theater experience I have ever had. It is more expensive than most theaters in the area. The drinks and popcorn are all self service so you pay top dollar and do everything yourself. There is no regard for R movies and kids. Our theater was filled with rows of kids all under 13 years old in a R rated adult themed film not one parent around. The kids were yelling obscenities and making horribly inappropriate comments that were so dark and disgusted I was shocked. Clearly the kids had no interest in watching one second of the movie and just wanted to ruin it for everyone else. Who ever is dropping their kids of at Satellite Beach theater this summer you are horrible parents and your kids prove that. Zero authority, theater is disgusting. The manager is about 15 years old and with the popcorn and soda being free refills the kids just get up and refill over and over and over the entire movie until they are so sugared up they start running up and down the aisles. IT IS A POORLY RUN DAYCARE SAVE YOUR MONEY IF YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY WATCH THE MOVIE. I have spoken to multiple residents in the area who avoid this theater for the same reason. No management and kids running around the entire length of the film yelling and being rude. The young lady and her boyfriend behind us complained three times during the movie because some punk kid was kicking this poor ladies chair over and over. They kicked 2 of them out and they just walked back in but there was about 10 all doing the same thing. These poorly run establishments that let young kids do whatever they want create a recipe for a very BAD SITUATION. As a parent I can tell you this is a dangerous place. read more

Ive been waiting for this for a LONG time! Just attended opening night and I'm very pleased with the updates that have been made to the theater. The bathrooms were clean, you get to self serve your popcorn AND you have the option of sitting in very comfy reclining chairs. Can't wait to come again! read more

Great place to go for a flick with value; cheap tickets. They keep the place clean. It's never crowded and they always have newly released movies, great matinee' prices and kids specials (call ahead). They seem to be continually improving this place. I've been going here for 20 years; still go today with my daughter. It's not IMAX / 3-D theater with lounge chairs (yet) but if you want to go see a movie with pleasant-level sound and special effects on a clear screen, feel comfortable; not grimy and not spend a fortune for the family (or you and a date, whoever), then have a go here. You'll come out talking about the movie and not the gum on your shoes and a bare back billfold. (Empty wallet..??..??). ;) I recommend this cinema as a value play. So, if then, you're looking to get iMax, 3D, blown out of your seat with a 200KW sound system experience, you may want to go elsewhere. read more

No Air Conditioning! Usually enjoy seeing movies here, never too crowded, but last night it was unbearable. The air conditioner never turned on through out the whole movie, over two hours. We mentioned this on the way out to an employee and he said the ac has been broken for sometime in theater number 2 and they should look into getting it fixed. This is unacceptable! They could at minimum buy a couple large industrial fans if they cannot afford to properly repair the air conditioning. read more

This isn't your typical modern movie theater with fancy reclining chairs or wide open rooms and halls. This hidden tiny theater is kinda stuck in 1980s patterned carpet. I can't say it's the nicest theater I've ever been to, however I kind of enjoy the small town feel of it - something you would find in Stars Hollow, except beachy - and it's close to home for me. Occasionally I'll indulge in a half frozen pretzel (even asking for it to be reheated twice. ) TLDR: The theater isn't horrible, and it isn't that great either. read more

Old and dirty. The whole theater was empty when we went this evening.... yet there was popcorn and trash everywhere in the seats. Speaking of seats, multiple were broken. Plus side, it wasn't too expensive and there were a good number of viewing times. And the A.C. works really well in the viewing rooms. The bathrooms of third world nations are better kept. Smells of mould and urine. There are these plastic clips of room freshener literally clipped everwhere, and two (out of 4) stalls are broken. I am not necessarily blaming the staff on this one, as it was.... clean.... for the most part. The owner needs to spend the money on a renovation, or at the least a deep clean. read more

An older tired looking theater BUT they offer several Movie Pass movies that are new releases!

Well, I knew something was wrong with the place when I arrived because the sign was literally falling off the wall and strings of lightbulbs were hanging down from the broken letters haha. The inside sort of looks like an out of date circus theme? Anyway, I went to get my ticket and they we're like "careful it gets a little warm in there". I was like "how hot do you mean?" he let me walk in and check it out, it seemed a little warm but I thought I could handle it. I was watching Infinity Wars and was really into it and it started to get REALLY hot in there but I didn't want to miss a thing. After 2 hours there were sweat beads coming down my neck and I couldn't believe I was actually putting myself through this so I carried on. When I finally got home, to my surprise there is a negative review already about the broken air conditioning and it is from 6 months ago!!! Whoever is running this theatre doesn't give 2 craps about you or taking care of the place. read more

Great value for the dollar! Where else can you still watch first run movies, grab snacks and drinks, and do it with your date for under $20? The theater is family owned and operated, and they are friendly. The shows are usually never packed, the seats are clean, and usually the patrons are quiet and courteous. If you don't need 3D, wide screens, or ear-rupturing sound systems to enjoy a movie, this is the place to go! read more

I stayed at an AirBNB not far from this Publix shopping plaza. Tucked away in the corner is this little gem of a theatre. Expecting a few folding chairs, I was very surprised by the big stadium seating! You wouldn't guess this from the modest signage and entrance. The people working the concession stand also sell tickets and probably run the movies and clean up afterwards. It was like a friendly little mom 'n pop joint. The only disappointment were the prices. Yow! It was the same cost for a matinee and popcorn as in downtown San Francisco. read more

I've been to this theater on two occasions. The first was a 2D showing and the second was for a 3D showing. The 2D experience was great. The 3D was terrible. The movie started without 3D and the image was blurry and rapidly shaking. After the theater staff were informed the issue was fixed. However, the image in the background had a faint second outline to everything. I spoke to the staff and they said this was because the movie was not filmed in 3D. I would concede to this if I had not watched the same movie in 3D without any of the issues at a different theater. In summary I would only go back for a 2D showing. read more

I like Satellite Beach Cinemas because it has cheap tickets and is close to the beach. It's located in a Publix shopping plaza right on A1A. It's not as fancy or as big as some other theaters in the area, but is still a great place to go! read more
