Went on Friday evening with the kids. Purchased the tickets online. $15 per ticket. Assigned seats. 11$ for a large stale popcorn, no butter in the butter thingy (checked both sides). Bathrooms were dirty. I get it.. Friday night, 7pm show. But $100 is just too much to spend without even getting hot popcorn. Will i be back.. probably because it's the movies. The theater is nice and the seats are pretty comfy. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired. We went to a 10:00am showing of Spider-Man in theater 4. It was not clean. We had to dust off popcorn from our seats and arm rests. The floor looked like it had not been vacuumed in a few days. I understand that it can be busy at times and it's hard to get everything in top notch shape in between showings, but I believe this was the first show of the day in this theater. Which makes me believe it was not cleaned after the movie ended on the previous night. I love movies and I know theaters are struggling to stay afloat. That's why I hate leaving this somewhat negative review. Although it was not the cleanest, it was not the dirtiest. I will still go back to this theater because it's the best we have. Went to see the new spider man movie in theater 2 seat s1 and had sugar ants crawling up my legs the whole entire movie I even tried moving seats and the ants followed me from seat to seat other than having ants bite me I had a good time. read more

This AMC was nearly empty on a Friday morning into afternoon but it is only 5 days until Christmas. The staff is always friendly and the theaters fully accessible as well as the bathrooms. You can always count on 15 minutes of previews even if you are late to the show. All the restrooms are fully accessible as well. I really wish the popcorn was made fresh but the last few movies I have been to at this theater the snacks were a terrible disappointment. Nothing worse than chewy popcorn. Overall this theater is great with discounts for matinee movies which I love and few crowds except on new premieres or on the weekends. Just be leary of the overpriced snacks. read more

Clean, comfy, and cool -- AMC West Melbourne 12 delivers where it counts. Recliner seats were in great shape, screen and sound were solid, and the A/C was a blessing in this Florida heat. I watched "Equalizer 3: The IMAX 2d experience". Sat in K16 & K15 in Auditorium 2. Booked my tickets through Fandango (no service fee if you are AMC Premiere or A-list). This theater could use more attention with an updated look or layout. Concessions lacked the friendliness that I found with employees at Disney Springs or other AMC theaters. They could up their customer service up a bit. Overall decent/clean theater. This movie was incredible to experience in Imax. You felt like you were in Italy with Denzel and it was a relaxing movie experience. The action scenes felt close to you and the overall sound and viewing experience was wonderful. This theater is not my favorite in Florida, but this is a decent one in Brevard county. read more

Haven't been to the movies in years! I was a little apprehensive when we first arrived due to there being 1 person behind the concession counter who also was selling the tickets. However, he was efficient with his tasks and we made it to our movie with snacks on time! The theater seats were comfortable and the area was clean. My only complaint is the volume at which the movie played. I had to plug my ears for majority of the movie. So bring ear plugs if you don't want ringing ears after your movie. read more

Bought online tickets for the movie Oppenheimer at this theater a few weeks back. We wanted to see this movie at a theater with more traffic. Coming from Miami, we miss that movie going experience. Compared to our local Amc , this theater was lively, packed with movie goers on a Friday night, which doesn't matters if you have reserved seating. Be warned, the seats don't recline. I am a stubs member and have been for several years so this is always my choice in movie theaters. I love that they have a little bar area and it's always been so easy to get tickets on the app and come in and go to the theater. It's great to enjoy a movie and a cocktail every now and then. Everyone has always been very nice when I've been there. I also love the coke dispensers they have because I love to have flavors in my coke! read more

Horrible experience from start to finish on Memorial Day to see Mission Impossible. Bathrooms were horrendous with no soap in the soap dispensers. Smelled like a subway in Manhattan. Purchased Icees and one of the machines was not working and the other one was only dispensing syrup. The air conditioner was not working in the IMAX theater so we were ringing with sweat during the movie. Lobby had trash all over the floors, just a miserable experience. Spoke to the manager that appeared no older than 18 years old, basically could do nothing. read more

Ok so, so we went to see "A Minecraft movie" and so we got kicked out by this dick of a manger, who kicked us out with no explanation. we were yelling, yes, but he never kicked us out for that reason, he just said, "I don't need to give you a reason" and told us to go our he would call the cops. so, 1. yes, we were being loud, but so was like everyone else in the theater, and 2, he kicked out me and my friends, and my friends did nothing wrong, and when i tried to explain this to him, he just smirked and said he was just doing his job. plus, we got no refunds. personally, I'm never coming here ever again, and would much rather watch movies at Premium oaks. read more

This a nice AMC. Many theaters, ours was roomy w/ plenty of seating. The chairs are comfy but don't recline. The concession & theater was clean. The popcorn was hot/ fresh & the nachos were plentiful. The prices are the usual, they do offer a $5 special small popcorn & small icy. The water bottles could be cheaper ($4.50), I'm used to $3. Service was timely & friendly. They also have IMAX. We'll definitely be back. read more

Watched the Fat Greek Wedding 3 at 4:10pm. Previews lasted until 4:45pm with the screen freezing for almost 45 seconds & longer. The same with the actual movie, it freezes! So disappointing! read more

If I can give no stars I would. The only good experience I had at this theater was with the young black man that checked me out, I think his name was Giovanni. It went down hill from there. You all ran out of some of the items I wanted, I was fine. The person preparing my food was rude as ever after spending $100 plus and the drink station was nasty. The butter area was greasy and dirty, so you is cleaning. The chairs sucked no recliners boo. The screen was pixelated and it made the movie characters look like the had blue streaks on their faces. Then to top everything off the bathrooms were nasty and filthy. I am visiting the area and I will not recommend this theater to anyone or anything. This is an awesome theatre, one of the best I have ever been to. The IMAX screen is so clear and sharp! They can even display HFR movies, they look so bright and sharp! The sound here is loud but doesn't seem to have too much bass. I like how the server room is right where everyone can see it. I really hope this theatre gets bigger. The price is pretty darn high, but for the best picture and sound quality in Brevard, it's kind of worth it. read more

We had done our tickets online so we just went to the counter to order some food. Compared to other movie theaters they seemed to have a wider selection of items to choose from. The only down side is it takes awhile to "warm up" the food that you ordered so be prepared to wait for awhile. Theater was clean and quality of the movie was great. read more

Decided to go see the new Mission Impossible movie today in Imax. First, the movie started about 25 minutes late. During the previews, there were several obvious computer crashes. The AC was not working very well. Finally, when the movie started (we had never seen the previous Mission Impossible movies) we knew we were not MI knowledgeable from previous movies enough to pick up the nuances of the plot and frankly the IMAX was not very impressive. So we decided to try to get a refund or a credit. There was one or at most two people working the front, no managers around, and a bunch of people waiting for popcorn and tickets. We waited 10 minutes, the line did not move so we decided to go home and use my computer to get a refund or credit. Tried Fandango from whom we had bought the tickets and were told no luck, your movie has already started. So I figured I would communicate with AMC West Melbourne 12. No luck. No way on the web site to contact management. No customer service there. I could have called the phone number and then some poor kid who could not give us a refund or credit would probably answer so I gave up. $35 down the drain 2 hours of our lives gone. I truly do not recommend AMC West Melbourne 12 if you want to actually see a movie. We regularly go to Oaks 10 and recommend that theater highly. read more

For the Melbourne/Palm Bay area, AMC West Melbourne 12 stands out as one with the highest prestige simply from what they offer. With said prestige, it comes with a price, which is something the average income base Melbourne/Palm Bay citizens may not be willing to pay. Despite that, it is still the best theater in the area if you are looking for a high-end experience. AMC West Melbourne 12 (which I will shorthand to "AMC Melbourne" for the remainder of the review) is located in Hammock Landing, the outdoor shopping center located on the west side of the Palm Bay Rd. exit for I-95. It is on the east side of Norfolk, the same side Target, Ross, Buffalo Wild Wings, Culver's, and Pollo Tropical are too. The theater has its own private parking lot. Depending when you go to watch a movie, you'll have plenty of room or you'll have to park in the middle. I have yet to truly see it fully packed with the exception of its opening month. Ticket prices depend on the show too but they are higher than the average. Same goes for the food too. Where AMC Melbourne stands out is what you get. For starters, the food choices go beyond popcorn, sodas, and nachos. They do serve those but they also have unique meals like flatbreads and chicken and waffles. They also serve wine and beer. All the theaters have comfortable wide seating which is far more comfortable than other theaters. They also have Real3D viewsings of movies. Where they stand out differently is the IMAX experience, one that I really like depending on the movie. So far, Ihave watched "The Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Doctor Strange," and "Ready Player One." in IMAX 3D and "Coco" in IMAX 2D. They are worth it if you have the coin. Finally since AMC Melbourne is an AMC theater now (previously Carmike), it is now eligible for the AMC Stubz program in which you get free tickets, food, and other prizes. Ultimately, I will not say this is the theater everyone must go to. Where it does fail is economy. If all you want to do is watch a movie in 2D and don't care about other luxuries, why pay $6 for a morning show when you can pay $4 elsewhere? Still, if you want the full experience, no theater in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area lives up to the hype (will update if the new theater on Malabar Rd. does any better). read more

First time here at the cinema it's pretty large and of course the prices for popcorn drinks and candy are very high. The theater has comfortable chairs that rock actually and the sound system is very clear. The bathrooms for the most part are clean. I know that it's hard to keep a theater clean especially with large overflowing bags of popcorn. Definitely will be back to see another movie. The only thing I can suggest is that they have More than one person at the refreshment counter. read more

So disapointed. It was horrible experience. they didnt focus the 3 d projector properly Coildnt watch the movie , had to walk out. it was fuzzy and completely out of prospective. Worst movie theater experience in a long time. First the Google and Waze location are off by a quarter of a mile. Next there is no one or direction starting to go to the Concision stand to buy tickets or check in to your movie resulting in having to wait in a long line. When asking two staff members sitting by the theater entrance, they said "You have to wait in line to check in". Next when we got to the theater 15 min before the movie starts, the theater wasn't raven cleaned. Though this is a new theater with nice seats, will not EVER come back here. read more

Now they've butchered the main benefit of.thr Stubbs program we've paid money for...the premiere o.o e has been discontinued. This place is sooo poorly managed I'm amazed its still in business. Seats are not as comfortable as other premium theaters (like CW cinema world). They are understaffed to the point they dont have anyone to scan your online tickets. Anyone could just go and watch a movie without a ticket. Theres no priority line for A List customers, you have to do a 20-25 people line to get your ticket scanned. read more

There have been three instances in the last 2 months that a movie ticket reserved on the app with Alist has started very early or very late. This has caused me to miss the opening scenes or to be sitting in the theater 30 minutes before the start. In addition there are many nights where no one is available to scan the amc Alist phone tickets and waiting in the long concession line is the only way to confirm the ticket. This theater is poorly managed and does not meet the standard expected of AMC theater. I likely will be dropping my Alist membership or switching to another theater due to the numerous issues encountered in recent months. If the opportunity presents, use another local theater. read more

Last time I was here it was still Carmike or whatever the old company was. I thought maybe because this was an AMC that it would be a well oiled machine. Wrong. Don't get me wrong, the theatre seems to be clean, and even has a bar for the 21+ folks. My issue is the service. While the staff is friendly, I find it absurd to have one person selling tickets while the line become 20 people deep. And no, they don't have a ticket kiosk. Did I mention while that one lonely staff member was tasked with selling tickets and getting food/drinks, three other staff members stood around trying to decide how they wanted to rope off the line. Seriously?! Isn't the line a one time deal? Set it up and leave it alone... forever?? Moral of the story here, be prepared to wait. From here on out I'll be going to the oaks. read more
