Absolute dumpster of a theatre. The staff is clean, friendly, and available... but the environment screams, run down and dieing! Two stars for having food and drinks and a screen that wasn't ripped, lol. The view was good, but the sound was louder on the left side than the right side. The seating was absolutely BOGUS, I felt like I was in a 1980's Crack house with the ripped fake leather seats. Come on man, get that stuff covered. Every seat is destroyed from decades of food, sweat, and tears soaking in that seat....YUCK. Men's bathroom floor was slippery from urine and soap :-( $54 for a movie, drinks, chili dog, and hopefully no bugs hitch hiking home. Will not return here read more

OK I am updating my previous review. The chairs that looked new before the pandemic are torn, worn out and old looking. They still recline and you have lots of space even in the isles that are not specifically for disabilities. The staff is friendly but still hugely understaffed. We decided to go to a Matinée and the theater was empty. Only 3 other people were in our show. The ticket prices for matinees have skyrocketed like most things lately, so we paid over 8 dollars for each ticket. They do currently have their annual 2023 refill popcorn buckets available for 24.95 BUT you can then refill them all year for only 4$ which to me is a deal. Their snack options have seriously dwindled too. My husband was seriously irritated that the only candy options were for kids. He doesn't do GUMMY and just was hoping for a few chocolate selections but M&Ms were one of the only options. Sadly he was more frustrated by the fact that this expensive box was not even half full. (Certainly this is not the fault of the company). The bathrooms are large and very accessible although even on days they seem extraordinarily slow they are dirty. I wish their staff would make an effort to clean them better and more frequently throughout the day. For such a nice theater it is sad they cannot keep the bathrooms clean. Overall I believe they are at least 3 1/2 stars but rounded up to give them the benefit of the doubt. I think this is generous. I do love watching movies here but there is no way I would ho on a crowded evening like on the weekends. I have done that and things are a mess. They have such limited staff on any given day, ai am not even sure the experience would be fun if they were really busy. Instead of standing at the door (there were 3-4 employees at the door today) they should be ensuring the place is tidy, and ready for guests. read more

Great staff. This theater is the first and last time I'll be here. Seats are HORRIBLY IN DECLINE when they should recline. FOR $8 something in matinee, UPKEEP the theater. 10 minutes from home, Senior rates, refillable popcorn and soda. Recling seats and 5 dollar pricing for all who come on Tuesdays. It has now changed to 6 dollars but still a great deal. Everyone is very polite, great snacks and Candy selections. We made a mistake and went to the wrong theater room. When we walked out we bumped into the General Manager named Jeremy. Great conversation with him ,very informative and he has a great staff. We were able to switch out our tickets and come back and check the movie later that evening. This theater has reclining seats and offers a great experience. I highly recommend a visit to this establishment. read more

Oh my goodness.... I really wish I could give this place a better review. The revamp of the ticket counter and seats years ago was nice, though it's time for a refresh again since the seats are wearing out already. They also need some type of light barrier from the hallway into the theaters - or just don't sit in the back two rows of any theater. Concessions are expensive, like everything else these days, but a bottle of water is almost $5 and they will not even give you a small water cup. And no, you cannot take your own water bottle in. The employees were nice, the faults of this place is not on them, which they will clearly let you know - they are upholding the policies of the executive company. The sound quality was low, the screens were fine. The facility is decent, but ultimately, Oaks Premiere Theater is still my favorite in the Melbourne/Palm Bay Area. read more

We came to watch Black Phone on a Thursday. Unfortunately, the AC was out in the theater room. The staff let us enter to see if it was okay but it was too muggy for us so we got vouchers for another day. I've never experienced that situation before but the staff was very sympathetic to the situation. We came back the next Tuesday and the AC was working in the theater. The reclining seats were comfy and the rooms were small but cozy. A bonus I appreciated were the unlimited refills of Coca Cola fountain machines - a ton of flavors including icees. read more

I'd consider myself a Thestre snob. Keep that in mind as my review is not a full 5 star. This use to be an old Dollar theatre that was run down and played old movies on film. This new remodeled theatre is really an amazing remodel. 5 star on appearance and how clean they are. The design is very modern and brightly lit. 5 star on seating. They have over sized electric reclining seats with big fat arm rests. They comfy but I do wish they would recline a little more. You can see how they had to modify the floor to fit these. 3 star on video. The dark scenes were way to dark. The picture became muddy and washed out. The projector is digital. It's a Doe Ray Me, so it's very much a budget projector. I'll update when I see a brighter movie. 4 star audio. Fully upgraded sound is nice. Gets loud but not like others and kind of lacks in the bass department. Other negtive's that took the review down. The exit signs are very bright and wash out the corner of the screen. Blinders reflecting the green light away from the screen would be such a huge improvement. The doors into the theatre have been changed but they are double doors right into the theatre. Anytime someone comes or goes is a huge disruption. Fills the theatre with bright light and drowns out the screen as the projector is already pretty dim in itself. Not much they can really do to improve on this design. At the end of the day it's a dollar theatre with a high end feel! It's first run which is awesome for this area. I am giving this theatre three stars because because the AC was out the day we bought tickets to see a movie. I will say though that the customer service when we arrived was pretty good. The staff were accommodating and understanding that we wouldn't want to see a movie in a heated theatre. They offered us tickets to see a movie at no cost at a later time. We also had the option of getting a refund. One disappointment was that 5 of the 6 ICEE flavors were out of service. I was really hoping to get a Coke Zero ICEE and instead had to get a soda. This theatre doesn't serve food or alcohol. Overall, we were able to see the movie we wanted to see. read more

Reasonable matinee prices, plenty of drink options, free drink refills, and recliner seats in all theaters! Common areas, bathroom, and theater were all clean. Palm Bay 10 Cinemas, located at the southwest corner of Malabar Rd. and Minton Rd., has been one of the most popular hangouts for teenagers back in the 90s to early 2000s. I remember being here a lot with many others as it was located next to a Teen Center. However, its appeal died out when CinemaWorld, and AMC eventually, opened up. It was only a matter of time until Palm Bay 10 Cinemas closed. After more than ten years, a time range in which there were sporadic attempts to re-open, the theater has been renovated into NCG Cinemas. It is amazing to an extent but there are some reasons why it is an A-Okay experience only. I have to put it out that NCG Cinemas (will be shorthand to "NCG" for the remainder of the review) looks great. It is clean, modern, and smells great, a high point given that it used to smell like mildew and marijuana. The highest of high points are the seats. They are wide, comfy, and they recline. Screens are HD and food is good. There seems to be no 3D showings though. Now the reason why I am giving this place an A-Okay experience is the fact that the price does not account the experience you get. Though the screens are HD and the sound is surround, there are better movie-going experiences in other theaters. It also does not help that the price is quite high compared to other theaters too. In short, I would rather go to another theater for the experience more so than NCG. Ultimately, NCG is not a bad theater. It is the closest one to those living in South Palm Bay. And all the great gimmicks it has are worthwhile. I am just not sure if it will last unless promos help boost it up. I mean I only know about the place because I workout at Planet Fitness near it... so I only found out about it by happenstance. read more

I haven't tried any other theaters in the area, but like one looked promising. Staff was so friendly, I actually liked the popcorn (a lot of people complained in FB posts about it), prices were decent. But it pretty much ended there. The chairs are in desperate need of replacing, the theater was hot, it had a funky smell to it, and it wasn't that loud. We could hear everything going on around us and there was only 2 other couples in the movie and they weren't too close to us. So pretty disappointed after all the recommendations I got on FB. But if they had a nice little upgrade, it would be better. read more

Went here to see the new indiana Jones movie. The theater is very nice and easy to get to. The price was$8 which is standard.

Visiting my son at the south end of the county to catch a flick, what appeared to be a small, mid-level theater from the outside proved to be something else once you opened up the pages of this book... From the moment I saw it in person I thought, 'simple, little theater, nothing special'. But when I walked in there was something...different. The theater was very new, fresh decor and the young high school-aged staff was friendlier than you would actually expect. Food is offered here unlike other theaters - stuffed pretzels of all sorts - caramel, spinach, and other goodies. The main staples such as popcorn are there for the offering as well. Drinks are located at the fancy dispenser with a million choices to choose from, and the theater itself was spacious, comfortable, and their sound and video system presented themselves as state-of-the-art. The seats are those new ones that recline and are oh, so comfortable. I normally don't mention bathrooms, but these were very chic and very clean. I was impressed from side-to-side and top to bottom. I wish this theater were closer to where I lived. read more

Interesting, your management staff has placed 2 trash cans in an effort to block the ingress and egress through the halls. Wow, just wow. Your theater manager decided to argue. Wouldn't it just be easier to say,"Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I hope you enjoyed the movie and we will look forward to seeing you again." But no. Your manager Laura was holding theater door 5 open. While standing even deeper into the hallway. Apparently her friend decided to talk to this manager further into the hallway, while her 2 children even further in the hallway to the point of this human barricade further enhanced by the 2 trash cans made it impossible to pass. Manage Laura could have asked her friend politely to allow me to pass, but no the blockade was too important and the conversation far exceeding the value of the use of the hallway for anyone else. I am so glad to see I am not a welcome guest. Don't worry, there are several other theaters I can attend. I won't be back. I will however futile, make complaints to city hall and all social media where I can be heard. read more

I went on a Sunday afternoon paíd a little over 13 dollars for two tickets I should have known it was too good to be true. As soon as I entered the theater I knew why it was only about 7 dollars per ticket. The theater reeked of sweaty feet there were no stadium seating so I could not completely see the movie screen in front of me not to mention the seats were ripped. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple of more dollars and visit a theater you could fully enjoy. If I could give it no stars I would. read more

This new theater just opened up near our house. We came here for our date night and are watching Black Panther. We both were shocked with how nice it is. This state of art theater is all digital. They offer the best prices around, extremely clean, and the best part is the electric leather reclining seats. Extra padded cushions make for a most comfortable experience. Upgrades like this set this theater above the rest. Every seat here has a good view of the screen. Sound system us upgraded as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Even worth it if coming from neighboring cities. read more

All I can say is WOW! I was one of those people who was not a big movie theater goer. I hated the crowded seats, no leg room and having to take out a second mortgage to get a ticket and a snack. NCG changed all that. I almost hate to tell people how great this theater is for fear it will become too crowded, but I want them to stay in business so I must divulge my secret. You are greeted with friendly staff, reasonable pricing and the seating Oh My! It is like sitting in your own living room in your favorite recliner. Plenty of leg space to be comfy, and far enough away from the person in front and behind you to not get kicked or bumped every time they move. The only place I will go now to watch a movie. I remember when this theater was first built in the 90s. It has changed ownership several times over the years. It was becoming a run-down theater. It has now become an incredible theater with a fresh contemporary design. The reclining seats are very comfortable. My 7 year old was able to fully recline her seat without having her view of the screen being obstructed. Combined with the great pricing and a comfortable viewing experience, we will be coming again. read more
