We started with oysters, which were incredibly fresh and clean-tasting, followed by the tuna carpaccio--delicate, perfectly balanced, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The aguachile had just the right kick, bright and refreshing, and the pulpo was hands-down one of the best I've had: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We paired everything with a couple of cold beers, and honestly, the freshness of the seafood stole the show. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in quality--from the ingredients to the presentation to the service. The atmosphere is beautiful and elevated without feeling stuffy, making it perfect for both a special night out or a relaxed but memorable meal. I wanted to go back again during our trip, but they were fully booked--which says everything you need to know. Campomar is absolutely worth planning ahead for, and I'll 100% be back next time I'm in town. Campomar absolutely lived up to the hype. I had the fresh tuna tostadas and some marlin empanadas. They were excellent, with a beautiful presentation and exquisite flavor. The place gets quite busy, and I'm told that on a Sunday you may have to wait two hours to get in! It is informal, and there is no air conditioning, so on a hot day like today they had fans with misters. While it was still warm it was not uncomfortably so. There is a secure private parking lot across the street, catty corner from the restaurant. There is also some limited street parking. Everything seemed clean and in order. I did not see the bathrooms. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. While we were there some mariachis came in adding to the joyful cacophony of the atmosphere. If you're looking for a great seafood place look no further. However if you're looking for a quiet romantic dinner with your wife, you might need to consider someplace else.

If You're looking for sea food you come in the right place…read more We order a big seafoods plate called parillada zarandeada as we were 4. It was a delicious and very fresh as the probably get fishes from the pacific 5 hrs from there. It consists of shrimps, fish ( i don't know wich one), snapper( that is a pargo in english)a piece of meat with bacon on a big plate aling with carrots, cucumber and celery. Everything was delicious and another way to taste Mexican cuisine. The decoration is really nice (sorry no pictures cause my cell was broken). Service is good, the only problem is that nobody here can speak english, when i wanted to pay the waiter can't speak a word in english. I cannot believe in the 2nd biggest city of Mexico a restaurant can't serve tourists in english as in El Coyote they were more than able to help me, so a star less for that. It's a chance i was with my girlfriend and our friends as they speak spanish. Especially a sea food chain with 5 restaurants.

If you think "How can you go and eat Seafood when nowhere near is an ocean" come here and try it…read moreyourself. The restaurant has a good menu with a lot of different seafood dishes. I had a lobster tail myself and it was simply delicious. My friends and collegues were also happy with their choices. If you don't like fish you can have different styles of meat. Okay, it's not the cheapest place to eat and the location of the terrace is not choose perfectly because the orientation is directly to the road and you always hear the traffic noise, you can't see the vehicles because there are hedges avoiding that but as said you can recognize the noise. The waiters are realy nice and attentive and aer always there if you want to order something. All in All it's a great place to eat seafood.... (PS.: They have an english menu but there was a problem with the translation, better use the spanish one to be realy sure... but the waiters can help you if something isn't clear - they speak english)

I especially loved our mojitos which had a ton of fresh fruit garnishes and ingredients. The octopus and fried chicharron taco was probably my favorite taco ever. So tasty, handmade blue corn tortilla and the chicharrones added pops of fat. The tuna sashimi dish was also excellent. I got the aguachiles tostad which was sizable and fresh though my mouth was on fire by the end. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Tropical Tuna Tostada & my boyfriend ordered 3 types of tortugas (seafood + melted cheese on a type of taco shell). The portions are HUGE and my one tostada filled me up a LOT - the combination of vegetables and tuna was very refreshing. My boyfriend's tortugas were good as well - I tried a bite of his octopus tortuga and shrimp tortuga and the shrimp one is my favorite! Be warned - it is on the heavier side though. We also ordered the Pina Colada and Sandia, which were served beautifully like in the photos. I'll be honest that Mexican food isn't my favorite type of food so I personally would rate this restaurant a 4 / 5, but they craft their drinks and plate their food with extraordinary care and detail. Customer service is a 5 / 5 and the ambiance is a 5 / 5. If you're visiting Mexico for the first time, this place was a pretty good experience for us!
