It's been about a year since my last review, and I'm still loving these sandwiches. I now alternate…read morebetween a regular sized pastrami (no onions) and a king sized ham sandwich (no onion) extra cheese. Both are delicious. The pastrami's is just too filling to get as a kind. But the ham is perfect for one meal now, and one in a couple hours. The only negative thing I have to say is that they don't let you substitute a topping for another topping. I feel like I should be able to substitute sliced pickles on the sandwich for the onions I have them remove. In my mind, those are equivalent, but I understand that they need to make money where they can. So, if I'm picking up a sandwich on my way home, I just add the pickles at home. If I'm taking the sandwich to work or elsewhere, I have them add them...because I love pickles on a sandwich!

I ordered the philly cheese steak and when I tell you I feel like I have only bread cheese a a little meat and my hubby's ham and turkey sub was the same at least he had lettuce to make it look like something. I didn't get a picture of his but I got one mine. Then to top it off the young lady on the phone told my hubby when he called to complain said...that's how we make them. I was like wow, I told him to don't worry about it we just definitely not going back again.

This tea is actually surprisingly better than other teas I've had from a fountain. For food, he ordered the Mac and I had the Popperz. Both were great grilled cheeses and came with seasoned fries. The Poppers had a tone of cheddar cheese, a light layer of cream cheese, and fresh jalapeno. I asked for no bacon (which it usually comes with). It also has chipotle soil to dip it in, which adds a nice smokey flavor. The Mac, comes with mac n cheese and cheese slices. This was super cheesy and yummy. And the ramekin of tomato soup that comes on the side to dip it in is very flavorful. Of not, if you come between 15:30-17:30 Monday-Friday, they have a happy hour menu with some great deals! They also have gamer Wednesday deals and Toker Tuesday deals (see on their in person menu). And if you are a first responder, nurse, military or teacher you can get 10% off anytime. Lastly, if you go to their website, and sign up for their newsletter, you'll get an order of free cheese curds for your next visit. This place was empty when we came around 3pm on a Friday, and our waitress and the cook were very sweet. They have booths and a bar/counter for seating. They are attached to the 21+ gaming room nextdoor. They have plenty of parking in their lot. And they are open late! 11:00-00:00 Sun-Thursday 11:00-02:00 Fri-Saturday I'm thrilled this place opened up.

It was a random weekday afternoon, so the restaurant was empty. I ordered an original grilled cheese with fries and sat by the window. The space is clean and comfortable. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. The food was good. I didn't really care for the cheese, but that's because I prefer American cheese on my grilled cheese sandwiches. Otherwise, it was great... diner-style soup, sandwich, and fries. It came with a small side of tomato soup, but I didn't eat that. The fries were seasoned well and piping hot. I'd probably skip Portillo's the next time I'm in the area and try the tater tots, smash burger, or chili.
