We ordered takeout and delivery of 2 pizzas and a salad. OMG I thought last year I was blown away by the taste. We love our pizza in Arizona but this was over the top. As I said we ordered 2 pizzas and a salad delivered. Not only it was the best pizza I've eaten since last year it was delivered hot and in under 40 minutes and we are probably the last delivery from the store. However, one day we took a look at the menu and discovered they had many vegan options, so Sauced became a must-do for my wife and I. Stopped by one Saturday afternoon and we were greeted by the super friendly owner who walked us through the menu and made some suggestions. We ordered spaghetti with "meat" sauce, a pizza with vegan cheese and mushrooms, and fettuccine alfredo. The pizza was especially good, the spaghetti very good, and the fettuccine just OK -- needed more seasoning, kinda bland. Overall, very pleased with the food and the service. Am definitely coming again as the pizza crust was just skinny enough to hold eight of toppings but sour enough for us to appreciate its own flavor with toppings. The crust was rustic and allowed us to enjoy the toppings. Ambiance is soooo vintage which gives it nostalgic vibe, comfort and family vibe. They seem to want to be a stop at Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives so they really push reviews. Be warned that there is limited street parking, so just aim to park in a closer spot in the Trader Joe's across the street. Their breadsticks which is claimed to be "little bites of Heaven" are overhyped. Ours were a little burned and not so fluffy. Think more of a thin, crusty type of breadstick. It's great that they have vegetarian and gluten-free options, but they do taste very buttery/margarine-y. Pasta is not thick, and does not seem to be handmade. Meatballs and blackened chicken was average. Nothing very exciting. Probably won't be coming back, but if my group is back in PB and need Italian, it might be on our minds as there are limited options nearby.
