There was a staff turn over while we were there, and it was seamless. The workers flowed effortlessly. The old fashioned (General Scott) was delicious. So smooth and comforting. The raspberry mule was also delicious. They have home made ginger ale - I had the watermelon and it was perfect. The appetizers were great. Tuna crudo and Major Tom's steak on toast were absolutely amazing. We decided to order meals, as the apps were so good. Blue salmon, with root veg, superb. Ribs and Mac and cheese, fall off the bone meat and coleslaw that was the best on the island! The piri piri chicken was delicious, except the skin was on the chicken and it had a thick layer of fat beneath the skin that was inedible. We had the ube cheesecake for dessert and it melted in our mouths and was light and lush. Definitely hit this spot up!

We sat outside in the front but protected from the sidewalk and elements - there were pillows and blankets in case it got chilly. We were able to walk right in. The food was great. Not a ton of vegetarian options - may have just been a salad. The drinks were fun and good - I got a strawberry mojito that was refreshing not sweet. Service was excellent.

I had my fair share of West African food when I lived in Ottawa for several years, so it was a pleasant surprise to see a place that specialized in it in Charlottetown! I *had* to go with their namesake dish, and ordered the version with a chicken thigh. After placing the order online and a short wait, I had my food in hand and ate it in front of my hotel, happy to not be in my car, even if the view of traffic on Capital Drive was less than spectacular. The hefty container was loaded with jollof, and the rice a particularly dark shade of red from the tomato sauce and seasonings it was cooked in. Deeply savoury and flavourful, it didn't have the funk that some jollofs that I've had did, although a dollop of Ghanaian green chili sauce brought some serious heat, but also a bright vegetal flavour as well. The chicken thigh was a good size, and the skin was good and crispy. The tender meat was sparingly seasoned, especially compared to the jollof, but I eagerly devoured it after a long afternoon on the road. A slaw of chunky shreds of cabbage mellowed out the heat of the chili sauce, and added at least one vegetable to the dish. It's really great to see the food scene in the Maritimes evolve as more people come and enrich the culture, and Jollof House is a delicious piece of the tapestry that Charlottetown's culinary scene is becoming.

But there was about 4 people and nobody in the lineup. They sent us to go park and they'd bring our food out, and we ended up waiting even longer. They continuously came out and asked what we ordered maybe 3 times, and they still wouldn't bring it out they'd just ask again. I think making customers pay and then make them wait this long for their food is insane

Fries are never anything special. My partner ordered the chicken wrap and the regular cheeseburger with extra mayo, both were delicious. Although, he was off three tall-boy Saparos so his opinion with a grain of salt. The wrap did look great though. Friend ordered the chicken strip basket which also came with a side gravy. The chicken strips were decent, better with the gravy than on their own. But they do wish that the staff would've asked which sauce they would've liked as they brought gravy and didn't offer anything else. The chicken strip box needs to be redesigned, I know that this DQ location has no involvement in this though. Overall, not a bad experience, with a buzz on at least. Would get an extra star if I had a toke in me too.
