This is an amazing nail salon with wonderful staff that's polite and makes sure you leave satisfied. I gotten dip by two different workers and they both did an incredible job. The nails look nice and smooth and very natural. You will not be disappointed because there's a color for everyone. The pedicure is very good as well, they take their time and massage you with a hot towel and a hot rock. I highly recommend this nail salon. The man in charge over there David is very very rude. I walked in on time for my appointment and he told Me I need to pick a color fast!!!! He said you take too long to pick a color. He insulted me infront of another person. He has no professionalism and customer service skills. Miserable man who does not know how to run a business. He and 2 other employees were completely free with no customers so why is he rushing me. I just walked in and he's pressuring me to pick a color fast. I'm paying them for services so why are they treating people horribly. They need to be shut down. And I will Make sure to send out a email to the board. I have been to this salon twice now and so far have been happy. They can actually do some primitive nail art. I have been searching all around for any nail salons in the greater Melrose area for any one who can do basic nail art. Hardly any salons have anyone who can even do simple designs. They offer dipping powder /glitter manicures. Simply the fact that they have the materials and offer this is more than I have seen at many salons. I have yet to try it but will post a review when I do. Obviously if they do a poor job then it's not of any value. I am also impressed with the inventory of gel and CND shellac polishes. The service I have received has been fine. Friendly, very prompt, and I just walked in both times. I feel that the quality of the manicures was good too. No cutting or bleeding or mistakes. I went to this salon because of the reviews. Unfortunately I guess it depends who you get. When I made my appointment I told the owner that I have never had nails before nor have I ever had a manicure. When I went there I was assigned Viviane.( First of all never once did I see her sanitize her hands. She was the only employee not wearing a mask and she kept sniffing the entire time.) I explained to Vivian that my nails were too long and had no shape. The only words out of her mouth were "square or round" I told her I did not know what the difference was,she just stared at me and said nothing. I finally said square. She proceeded to file my nails then cut the cuticles then started to put on the nail polish . I stopped her and told her they are too long that they needed to be cut. She cut them then filed them again again started with the nail polish. I stopped her again,the nails were misshaped,each finger was a different length and the nails themselves were uneven. I asked her if she had a boss and where was he.The owner came over started yelling at me, I tried to explain what happened, he would not listen and he sat down and had to fix all 10 nails. He accused me of not letting her finish before I complained. ( She was starting to apply the nail polish,she was finished). He also informed me that he assigned me a brand new client who does not speak a word of English.Vivian then Sat down and put the first and second coat on when it came to the third coat there was a clump of polish on the brush,rather then wipe the polish off with a paper towel,she wiped the polish brush on her hand then started to polish my nails. I admit I got upset I pulled my hands back told her what she did was unacceptable and demanded the owner again. This time he came back yelled at me did not care to listen again accused me of being disrespectful. He put another bottle of polish in front of Viviane she finished the job.Then she picked up my purse and coat and brought it over to to drying table and told me 10-15 minutes. I was there more then 20 minutes and no one came to tell me to stop. Finally I took my hands out and called a friend to pick me up. She saw that I was crying and asked what happened. I told her. She then approached the owner and asked him why he did not explain anything and assigned me to a person who also could not explain anything and he threw up his hands yelling he is too busy to explain. This is not a good business when the owner hires anyone, does not see if they have the skills or qualifications to do nails and yells at anyone who complains and won't let them explain. Should be a zero rating. I had a booked in advance 3 30 appointment for a spa pedicure prior to going on vacation. At 3 45 the owner told me to put my feet in just hot water and they left me for another 10 minutes. Then they brought another lady in and set her up right away and started to work on her. I walked out and the owner said nothing. Never going back and I suggest you do the same. There are much better salons in Melrose than this one read more

I first came here in a busy day and like everyone just walked in without appointment, then I agreed to wait 15' as they told me. I was free anyway and i knew that i had still to wait if i went to somewhere else at that time. The impressive thing was although there were some waiting people, they still worked on each customer very thoroughly until next person. My organic spa pedicure was so awesome with hot stone, hot towel, and smoothie lotion with nice massage. Everything is clean and clear. I'll definitely come back. read more

Went a third time today and the man did my pedicure and it was the worst experience of my life !!!! I never complain and even when I was pointing out to him that he didn't get all the polish off my toes , he didn't cut them evenly, he didn't buff them etc, he tryed to convince me they were fine as if I had never had a pedicure before !! I went to this place on june 3rd, 2016, to get my acrylic nails refilled. After waiting about 10 minutes a guy finished the other customer and asked me to pick the color and to take a seat. When he started to work on my nails I realized he didn't get the instruments cleaned, he was using the same instrument he used before on the other woman's nails. I asked him if those things were cleaned and he quickly put some alcool on those instruments to get it cleaned. I almost told him to stop it, but I thought the alcool was good enough to clean that. He didn't do a great job working on my nails and I had to ask him few times to fix some nails and he did it without complain. So, today, after some nails pop out of my fingers, I realized that one of it got fungus on it under the acrylic. I've had my acrylic nails done since 2010 and, I've never gotten fungus on my nails. I'm so pissed about that place because of the careless of them to their customers' health. Avoid that place if you care about your health. read more

Very clean, nicely decorated. The pedicure chairs are new, they use a liner when doing pedis which is a plus. Hot stone massage with a basic pedicure. The woman I had did such a great job with my mani and my pedi. Will definitely be back! read more
