I opted for the gold ceramic pads for $480 all-together. Communication and service was quick and efficient, and the repair took about 50 minutes. The owner was kind and agreed to do the service at an open area which was preferred. At the end, they let me drive around the lot for a bit to test out the new brakes. They listen and are honest, the price is under dealer prices but the work is quality of the dealership. Unfortunately, the other shop gave me very few answers. I paid $305 for the diagnosis, but the report I received from the other shop was extremely basic. They also didn't give me a list of the parts that needed to be replaced, a breakdown of the labor costs, or much of an explanation of how they came to the conclusion that I needed a $4,800 repair.
