    Greek salad
    Tiffany T.

We were greeted and sat when we walked in. They gave inside and outside seating we choose inside. Mitchell was our server and he was friendly and we waited for nothing. I asked to start with field green salad but they were out. Choose Greek instead. It was good just disappointing they didn't have a regular salad. We ordered a medium chicken Florentine pizza it was DELICIOUS cooked well. My husband wished it was a little crispy but overall flavors were yum! They have all the things on the table to add if you want, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese. Although it did not need them, it was nice that we had it and we used them. Clean and good lighting and decorations inside.

I've been hearing a lot about Savage finally opening in downtown Norcross so I decided to hop over and give them a try. Since it was my first time visiting savage pizza in general, I decided to just get a large cheese pizza with pineapples - yes with pineapples. That's the only way to do it! But the pizza was pretty good and it was a decent price($19 for a 8 slices large pizza). Sadly I don't have any pictures of the pizza because I ate it before realizing I didn't take one it was so good! Also, I really like the set up of the restaurant. Extremely spacious and decked out with wallpaper of vintage comic book characters and mini arcade games. Now it did take longer than expected for me to receive my pizza after I ordered it, but if you're dining in or got time to kill, it's definitely worth checking out.

Bread sticks. Comes with 6 but we started eating for the picture.

Finally got to check out downtown Norcross's newest pizza spot. We came to check it out at its grand opening which was a huge turn out but a long wait for a table so we waited patiently to come back. The new space is really nice and vibrant with a neon Savage light, a lounge area, super hero themed art work and a few arcade games. We had Savage Steve as our waiter who recommended the Cajun and Mai Pai pizza. I took Steve's recommendation & ordered the Cajun pizza and my husband got the Pizza Buttafucco (Meat lovers) pizza. The Cajun pizza tasted more like a veggie pizza at the base with some protein toppings. I think I would have enjoyed this pizza more if the shrimp was more seasoned liked the chicken and the entire pizza had a more Cajun spice to it. My husband was really satisfied with his meat lovers pizza. He said this spot is way better than the pizza spot that was there before. We also shared the garlic bread sticks which were really good! Their bread hits differently! We both had to force ourselves to stop eating the bread sticks to make room for our pizzas. We will definitely be back & I'm happy for my husband that there is a pizza spot downtown that he actually likes. Thanks Savage Steve for your great customer service during our first Savage Pizza experience.

Savage Pizza is the BEST place for pizza and an "artful good time." If you're a comic nerd, this is the place for you! Upon entry you walk into their bar/video game/seating area. The neon lights above the bar are perfection. There are three classic video game options that guests can play, and the pillow designs perfectly encompass the whole places theme. There is the most beautiful mural that graces the front walls. The dining areas walls are covered in a comic book design. Tables are sturdy and seating is so comfortable. The staff is great, and seems to be willing to go above and beyond to give their guests a top-tier experience! The hubby and I ordered a bit of everything. Two mocktails, a Caesar salad, wings, and a build your own pizza. The food was (as expected).. so flavorful. Each item was presented beautifully. The croutons on the salad were huge - always my favorite part of any salad. The wings were great. We added 6 toppings to our build your own pizza, and you could taste each one without hesitation. I was beyond excited for this pizza place to open after trying it at L5P, and made sure I could be here for their GRAND OPENING! Can't wait to already come back next time!!

Huge DENT, bottom left, burned/over-cooked toppings, cheese had no pull but it was served with pride.

This review is from/for Saturday, November 8th. I heard quite a few good things about this place and as Saturday is my "Cheat Day," I decided to give them a try. Mind you, I have a pizza place that is and has been my go-to but I was curious to see (and taste) what the hype was about. Well, to be honest, frank and truthful? This was ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE PIZZA that I have ever been served! First of all, it took about 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen. Not necessarily a big deal but I was told "15 minutes" by the bar server. I was the first and only customer at 11:00 when they opened. Second, after waiting patiently, I was presented with a pie that had burned/over-cooked toppings, a flat crust reminiscent of a frozen pizza, the "cheese" had no pull to it, the pie itself was not round, it had a dent in it. Just straight awful. "Rubbish" as my grandmother would say. Completely disappointed, I immediately let the bar server know that "This was not what I expected. I cannot pay for this." I think that she understood because she immediately got the presumed manger. He could not have been more professional, offering an apology, a remake and a refund. The refund, like the name of the pie that I ordered was a "no-brainer." I was also offered my "next order on the house" but I respectfully declined. I wound up going my go-to pizza place and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Their pie is Sofia Vegara, this place's pie was Ruth Buzzy. Much credit to their customer service, it was top notch. It is too bad that it is not a pizza topping. Sorry, Savage, not today or any other.

I won a $50 food and beverage credit from an Instagram giveaway. Never been here so wasn't sure what to expect. Thankfully, overall the experience was a good one. Service here was top notch...friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was casual and cool...arcade games, walls covered in comics and music had an old school vibe. I had never been to this part of the city and I have to say they really picked a great location in downtown Norcross. Plenty of parking, walkable and cute shops all around. As far as the the food- a couple of could've been better but overall it was pretty good. Not bad enough to send anything back though, just know better for next time not to get it. We got both the vegetable and beef lasagna (both came with bread and garden salad) as well as breadsticks and the Caesar Salad with added shrimp. The bread sticks with the marinara was DELICIOUS. The beef lasagna was really good but the veggie one was a bit dry in the middle. The cheese melt on both was really good though. The added shrimp on the Caesar salad was supposed to be "Cajun" according to the menu but wasn't seasoned at all but the dressing ratio was perfect.

First time coming here after enjoying halloween night around the neighborhood and the park with my kidos decided to end the night by getting some pizza, I ordered a medium size pizza half pepperoni and half pineapple both tasted good the ambience is pretty nice with all them comics on wall had a nice time, the service was great always making sure if I needed something else.

Not good. Pizza was burnt, not seasoned well, and had barely any chicken. But it actually all would've been fine if it wasn't charred...

The interaction with staff will make or break a place like this. We quickly picked two filled doughnuts and rushed to the register. I about fell over when she asked for $14.40! Have we all lost our minds?! So a dozen doughnuts is $84?? No thanks. Enough is enough with average experiences being ridiculously overpriced. At home, the product lacked flavor and freshness. We were disappointed and considered these a waste of money.

The bread is also delicious and really nice and soft. All the sandwiches are made to order so they are somewhat customizable which is great. They also offer edible cookie dough here which is a really fun dessert option. I loved the blue sugar cookie that I tried but I do think that they should be refrigerated instead of sitting covered next to the cashier because it was a little stickier than I feel like it should be. Customer service was also pretty good. I definitely suggest checking it out if you're in the area and in the mood for a hoagie.
