In this case, I literally got to walk in and it was immediately helped by Daisy, who was fantastic. We did Peruse the rest of the store, obviously and it's so great to see the diversity of Breanne's product lines and styles here in Atlanta versus in Illinois. Based off of their social media, they just opened up in November. Bombchel Factory is a black owned and woman owned small business. I didn't really read about them until I got home, but I love the story and mission the owner Archel has created for her business. The store is open and accepting to all walks of life. This shop has a number of African inspired items and patterns which is displayed through clothing, jewelry, candles, etc. I was drawn to the tie-dye Atlanta Influences Everything long sleeve. The shirt is unisex and comes in a variety of color patterns. I will say the store and clothing is geared more towards women as there isn't really any men clothing that I noticed other than the unisex shirts or hoodies. There's a number of other things in there I'd live to get and will definitely be returning to get. I'd say their prices are fairly on par with similar shops/boutique style shops. The shirt I think was $60, which some may find on the expensive end, but it didn't surprise me for a small business as a lot of these items are hand crafted and there's no huge manufacturing things as major retail businesses would have. The two staff members that were working at the time were very friendly and helpful during my visit, and not pushy at all which I like. All in all, it's a cute shop and it's nice to see exposure to more small black owned businesses in the city, as well as in Ponce City Market.

Every time I go in, they make me feel so good and welcomed. Any time the owner, Archel, is there she goes above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of. If my size isn't in the store, she has offered to get it for me. The styles they have are high quality and the items are priced appropriately especially for PCM. I also love that they are more than honest about which items come from where; some are curated in Atlanta while most come from various areas in Africa. The best part about this brand is the back story, which everyone that goes needs to ask. I won't go into the details here, but just know every purchase comes with purpose!

(I have ordered items that are a completely different color then the stock image) So it's nice to be able to see some items in person before ordering (theoretically) but they are far from having a full assortment and I have a hard tome finding items in my size (a 2 - typical 0 but in Ref I'm a 2). I usually have to try a size up and sort of hold it with my hand int he mirror and imaging the correct fit. I have maybe gone in 3 times and actually found the time I am looking for in the color I am looking for where they had a size that is maybe acceptable to try on. So that's frustrating. But I always feel oddly judged and like the employees are judging me. Even when they are nice, I get an odd vibe here in store. I imagine it has to be part of the training, and that maybe they deal with a lot of theft possibly? So maybe judged is the wring word, but watched is maybe more appropriate? It's also never busy. Like I can't remember the last time I was there and there was anyone else shopping with me, which just sort of amplifies that feeling. Also they do not validate. Just a heads up. Yelp doesn't have a place for "tips" for this location otherwise I would put it there.

I previously bought a blue floral maxi dress from their Austin store for my older sister's wedding that made me look snatched so I trusted my gut that I'd find something here. Like the other reviewer, I was a little sad that there wasn't much selection in store. Of what WAS available, I sifted through a few pieces that I found cute! I was aware that inventory differs between locations but I would have preferred there to be a smart screen formatted like a website that allows you to swipe through products. For ex, the Austin store has that installed and you can find things that might not be displayed on the racks. Just something to consider to elevate the customer experience here! Other than that, I spoke with both of the sales associates who were working as I had entered the store close to the end of day. They were both super friendly and gave me multiple recommendations. I came in interested in a shorter green-toned dress. I tried on the two pictured. I felt the dark green one was too similar in style to my other Ref dress and I didn't want another maxi dress (at least not yet). I also didn't realize until after the fact that the lighter green dress I bought was intended to be worn as an off-shoulder dress. Regardless, the sizing was perfect and I looked great in all the photos!
