I went to their instagram and that is what sealed the deal. We booked the date and time (7am) 15-minute shoot. The day before the shoot, Marcelo, texted me with confirmation and answered all my questions. Fast forward to the shoot morning. We met at the beach they recommended, DT Fleming, which was stunning. We met Marcelo at the nearby burger shack. He was super friendly and easy to work with. We like quick photo shoots so he was able to direct and take photos super easily. We have been to Maui many times in the past but never had professional pictures done. Big mistake…read moreon my part. When my daughter suggested we have pictures taken I said sure. Little did I know what a true gift it was for our family. Lisa met our group of 8 at the designated park right on time. She really has a great way of working with both adults and kids and has an eye for focusing on the person but encompassing the beautiful background. We never felt rushed and were able to request specific groups for pictures. We all left feeling really positive and excited. The hardest part was waiting for the results and hoping they would turn out as great as we had hope. The results are in! They are ALL amazing! We may not be the most photogenetic family out there, but all our pictures made us look fantastic. Lisa took the most beautiful pictures we have ever had. Overall our photos were great and we had a great experience with our photographer. Two notes that…read moregave this a 3 star instead of 5. 1) Overall, poor job setting expectation when it comes to pricing options. When we asked the concierge person how the process works, she mentioned that they would book a complimentary photoshoot and we can pay for as many photos as we want. I asked her how much it would be to buy 1 photo and she said it would be $17.50 for each individual photo. I thought that was reasonable. When we completed the photoshoot and reviewed the photos, which turned out nice, the gal showed us the price options and I was very surprised that it was $80 PER photo. So we would be incentivized to pay for the more expensive package. I brought up how she told me each photo would be $17.50 and we could buy as many as we wanted, she acted surprised. Overall, I wouldn't mind paying for the photo packages, but the costs should have been presented upfront instead of having us invest the time and energy to take the photos, see them, then review the cost for the first time. 2) Don't recommend any pose that risk injury to young kids. The photographer suggested us doing a pose it which we pull our daughter up for a "swinging" picture, which we did and I accidentally dislocated our daughter's wrist. It was me who yanked her too suddenly, so I take full accountability for that, however, that pose should not have been recommended in the first place. Our daughter started crying right after because her elbow hurt from having her wrist dislocated, which I felt terribly for. The photographer felt bad too. Thank God a chiropractor nearby who happened to be in the area, saw what happened, came by, and adjusted her wrist. She was better.

First - I had a special photo of my son and I (from when he was 4) that I was hoping to recreate on his wedding day. Anna actually brought the photo on the day and they took so many photos, and were so painstaking to even get the hand and body positions perfect. I will cherish the photo that they created! On the day - the team showed up well before our event, and they even mounted flashes up high, around the space (inconspicuously), so there would be enough light at our outdoor venue. They took pictures of everything - the layout, the flowers, and then they captured everyone's expressions as they arrived, and all of the laughter and love during the evening. We have received over a thousand photos, and I have no idea how we will choose - they are all stunning. Throughout the process, Anna was quick to set up Zoom calls (we were off-island and in another time zone!), and quick to respond to emails personally and promptly. We scheduled with the concierge a few days before and met our photographer in the lounge of the hotel. She took our family of 4 to several locations around the Ritz property and down at the beach. She suggested poses and made sure to get lots of shots. When we were done we went out for dinner. She texted about an hour later and we came to view of photos. They all looked so good! We ended up purchasing the flash drive with photo release. She also air dropped the photo album to our phones. It was well worth the $$$. These are photos I'll treasure forever.
