I am sharing this because of my disappointment. We were unlucky. At first we had the appointed employee come faithfully. We were happy for a while, however, we always saw various pests in between. My husband convinced me that you can't get them all. However, I felt that it could get better. I called the office to request the appointed employee to spray inside. He had usually sprayed outside. He came inside once. We have had this service since April, 23. The one time he came in, we discovered only one ant that was seen. We were happy, however, during the next visit, I asked the appointed employee to come inside, however, he stated that he didn't need to and he was spraying something outside that should help. However, about a week or so later, all-----broke loose. We had ants everywhere. The bathroom, baseboard, etc. They agreed to return again for $91 charge for October. By then, the ants had moved to the kitchen area. We discovered that they were in the sink, some cabinets, behind the stove and even in the Refrigerator! We were in trouble. We cancelled our service and because of that we paid for October and they stated that the pest control and termite control were connected. We had to pay $300 also. Unfortunately, we kept the termite service. I am terribly upset with our results for the pest control. I hope we don't feel the same about the termite control. I have not experienced this even in older homes. I don't understand what happened.......?

A lot missed in a home inspection. Real estate agent, who I also believe gets a two, knew of one…read moreissue and I think she recommended this particular person to overlook some things. She said, "He's the best". We were told that, "This home is solid". Well, the half bath floor was rotted, sinking and we had to replace a joist to fix. Sheetrock above and beside fireplace was bowed out and we had to cut out all of it to repair. The RE agent knew about this from a previous owner. Homeowner failed to disclose as well. Moisture issue from fireplace that got behind the sheetrock. Back deck remodel has water lines going out underneath exterior deck exposed to cold weather. Of course, that freezes during winter. All of the electrical receptacles needed replacing. Old and wore out. The floor and the sheetrock are the main issue with me. Moral if the story here is to get the inspector yourself. Get references and check them iut beforehand. Don't rush it.

The Builder had scheduled a date for the initial inspection I commissioned. Mike arrived on time and kept in constant communication with me. On that scheduled date, the inspector called me to let me know that it was in my best interest to delay the inspection until the builder had completed some areas that were included in his inspection. Any other would have just executed the inspection and gotten paid! Additionally, the inspector truly took his time to go through everything and make sure I was making a good investment. After the initial inspection they provide a very thorough report, a follow-up inspections once the deficiencies have been corrected and access to your very own HomeBinder so you can keep up with all of your maintenance, projects and home information. Manufacturer's specifications and industry standards suggest utilizing air conditioning systems in temperatures below 60f may damage the equipment." When I tried to use the air conditioner, is WOULD NOT WORK. I asked three air conditioner service people about that statement in the report and they said should have been tested. I called Northwestern Exterminating about a bed bug inspection. I was covered in mysterious bites…read moreand could not determine whether or not I had bed bugs. I chose Northwestern for the inspection because of their friendly receptionist, free inspections and free followups. The exterminator Rocco was incredibly helpful and professional. He looked at pictures of my bites. Inspected my sheets, mattress, couch and cat bed for both bed bugs and fleas. After a thorough inspection he determined that it was highly unlikely that I have bed bugs and that encouraged me to call back if I have similar bites so he could take another look at my mattress and bedding. Overall the staff at Northwestern was thorough but not pushy. The company seems very customer friendly and helpful. Needless to say they will be my go to exterminator in the future. I highly recommend them.
