Amazing leadership, great team. Scott and his team care about their customers. Dropped off my daughters '05 Trailblazer for an oil change and tire rotation. Scott stated he wanted to share some info about the vehicle when I returned to pick it up. He walked out to the vehicle with me to point out his concern. Starting with, "if this was my daughter's vehicle, I would want someone to share this with me." He shared that the frame of the vehicle is rusting away and showed me what he was talking about. He went on to share some scenarios that could result in the unstable structure. I am most grateful for the extra attention to the details. This was not part of the request, I only asked for an oil change/tire rotation. I know the vehicle is getting old and it's understandable the rust that has occurred since most of its years was spent in the north with snow, salt, and ice melt chemicals. However, I would never have known what the underside looked like or the weakening frame. Being new to the area I was unsure where to go for auto repairs and maintenance where I felt like I was being given an honest answer. No need to look any further! I feel comfortable and confident in returning to Savannah Tire on Foxfield Way in Savannah GA for any and all vehicle repairs and maintenance. I highly recommend this shop. I came to GA from South Florida where I had my brakes exchanged and visited this shop for brake screeching sound. Chip and Tim have been the best mechanics I have ever met. Tim and Chip saw me without an appointment and they were ready to get started immediately. They took the time they needed to efficiently find the right parts for my old car which I love (the brake parts that were in place belonged to a different older model). They also figured out that the brake pads had been placed backwards. I had previously visited 3 shops on my way up the 95 on this trip and none of the mechanics were able to diagnose the issue. They helped me understand what had been done incorrectly and how they were going to fix it at a very reasonable price-- off the charts. They explained why the errors that had taken place were not uncommon and provided advice on how to handle the situation with the old brake place and how to handle brake changes in the future. Moreover, they independently made sure that all the car fluids were full so that I could make it safely to my destination. If I lived in Savannah, I would definitely pick Mavis on Foxfield as my mechanics for life! I recommend them very highly without reservations. Talk about going the extra mile. The staff at Savannah Tires were absolutely amazing! I was in the process of moving my family from Florida to North Carolina and midway through the trip, the car I was towing blew a tire. I had no spare, not even a lug wrench or jack. The entire staff (Freddy the mgr and the wonderful woman at the counter) went absolutely above and beyond to help me out in a really difficult situation. They truly saved the day for my family . They were professional, empathetic and took care of me in a very timely manner. Was traveling from Fl to Tenn. when my Yukon started shaking, limped it into Savannah Tire where I was afraid I was going to have to stay the night and take a loan out to get my truck fixed. I had to replace my shocks and get 2 new tires (they could have gotten me for all 4 new tires but said I would be good for now). I pulled up at 4:40 and they had it done by 6:00. They did things that my (old) trusted tire shop back home didn't. If you are traveling through or if you live around this place, these people are awesome! read more

I came In looking at another tire product and she showed me this upgraded Better tire with higher rating higher mileage and unbelievabley less Money and a rebate. !!NEW GO TO!! Recently was came here to get my brakes fixed, and I will say I think they did a great job. I was told everything that would be happening, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. As a 20 y/o I really do appreciate that they did this for me. Amazing team here! I noticed my car was leaking oil on my way home from NC. I was able to book online the night before, come in asap in the morning, and they helped me out. The last place I went to put the wrong oil filter in causing a slow leak over a few month. The team came out, explained everything to me, and was able to get me on my way. My tire has a hole in one of the tires and they did a great and fast job getting it fixed! I was told at first my car might be too low but Caleb was great and figured it out so I could get back on the road. I really appreciate the fast service and how nice everyone was as well. I was recently stranded at Publix on Pooler Parkway. I called Savannah Tire, and eventhough they don't provide roadside assistance to provide jumps, a service man showed up of his owh freewill and time and helped he get my car running again. After a blowout traveling between MA and FL... I was lucky to be in this area. My alignment was off and the other front was about to blow. Driving 1 month-old new car when the tire pressure light came on, in dash app says right rear tire low and getting lower.
