This location in La Mirada was very convenient for me since it's not far from my home. It is in the mall on Rosecrans/ La Mirada. Park near Wells Fargo bank and enter the two story building . Use stairs or the elevator to the second floor. Head towards the right after you get on the second floor. Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to check in. Our instructor, Kathy was punctual and informative. The class is a combination of video presentation and hands on with a mannequin ( Adult and infant) with Kathy supporting the information. The session was 1 1/2 hours . Test is taken together out loud . ( 100% pass rate guaranteed). You get a printed wallet copy of your certification at the end of class . For continuing education credits (3units) can be collected by going onto a website and paying $5.

They teach and certify first aid BLS ACLS and this is by the American Heart Association-- great!

This is great coaching and teaching. I found it to be highly valuable. They were very easy to work with my schedule and I really appreciate that.

They have enough adult and infant manikins for every participant which makes it easier to learn. Found location on google since I needed for work. It was great that this location is approved by the American heart association. I took this class on Saturday which I liked so I don't have to miss work during the week. Instructor was clear with class and everything ran smoothly. This is is my first time trying out to renew my bls outside the hospital, and I'm so disappointed with this facility been waiting here for almost 1 hour students outside waiting for staff to show up. Didn't even get any call or email that instructor will be late or so.Been trying to call their # and it's just go out to their voicemail. It's just a waste of time effort and money. I shouldn't have try somewhere else. So beware, this people weren't professional and not respectful to people's time and effort. Don't deserve 5 stars at all... So been here for 2 hours wasted my time and still no staff opening the office just need my money back never ever coming back here anymore find other facility that will respect your time and effort. read more

Had to take this class for my job. Online enrollment was very easy. I registered for the class an hour before it was set to begin without issue. Kathy was very knowledgeable and thorough. Our programs are designed to give students the confidence needed to recognize and respond to real life threatening emergencies and the skills that can save lives. My experience left me feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously and that staff were more focused on defending one another than addressing legitimate questions about my child's safety. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this daycare for infants or children who are not yet able to communicate what happens during the day.

The teachers have always been proactive, attentive and loving to our girl. They have taught her so much through songs, active play, and activities. We notice the learning that is happening in the classroom through our daughter's vocabulary development and social skills. The admin team have always been responsive to any questions we have. They run a great summer program and additional activities through out the year. The school itself is well taken care of and we do not doubt the care she receives. We rave about our daycare to our friends and family.

The communication here is fantastic--daily updates and as-needed feedback keep me in the loop, and during the first week, Mrs. Anne kept me posted daily on how my child doing every transition and activity that really put my mind at ease. Mrs. Anne surprised me with my child's moments with friends and while she is doing her work, playtime that sparked my days while I am at work. The daycare makes holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter so festive and fun, and they go above and beyond for birthdays and farewells, especially for kids transitioning to TK, kindergarten, or moving away--those moments feel so special! Summer water balloon days and the Halloween party are huge hits with the kids, creating such joyful memories. The classrooms are always clean and tidy, with toys disinfected daily, and even the storeroom for toys is impressively organized. Their supportive approach to potty training has also been a lifesaver, making the process smooth and stress-free.
