Awesome class! I did the hybrid and I did the online modules(1hour and half on my own at home) and the online test in person which was about 30 minutes. Definitely would come back next time! Very professional and flexible! Lots of time slots available.

This location in La Mirada was very convenient for me since it's not far from my home. It is in the mall on Rosecrans/ La Mirada. Park near Wells Fargo bank and enter the two story building . Use stairs or the elevator to the second floor. Head towards the right after you get on the second floor. Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to check in. Our instructor, Kathy was punctual and informative. The class is a combination of video presentation and hands on with a mannequin ( Adult and infant) with Kathy supporting the information. The session was 1 1/2 hours . Test is taken together out loud . ( 100% pass rate guaranteed). You get a printed wallet copy of your certification at the end of class . For continuing education credits (3units) can be collected by going onto a website and paying $5.

They teach and certify first aid BLS ACLS and this is by the American Heart Association-- great!

This is great coaching and teaching. I found it to be highly valuable. They were very easy to work with my schedule and I really appreciate that.

The great reviews on Yelp did not disappoint! I signed up online and used the FIVEOFF coupon for the BLS course. With everything already paid for, I walked in, signed in, and took a seat. Our teacher was Megan and the class size for that session was 6. They have all the necessary equipment in house and we went over the entire class a little less than 1.5 hours. Megan did a great job being clear and the videos were clear and easy to remember. I learned a lot and I would def come back in 2 yrs to renew my certification! read more

This was my first time taking a CPR class. The video assisted me with proper demonstration of giving CPR. I also liked that the class was hands on. Our programs are designed to give students the confidence needed to recognize and respond to real life threatening emergencies and the skills that can save lives. As an AHA training site, we are dedicated to training the general public in CPR/AED with the goal of increasing survival rates for victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest which claims the lives of approximately 250,000 people in the U.S. every year. The building in itself is only 2 floors & it looks like it's built in the 1970's because it appears it has that original yellow green paint from that era. But in all honesty, what matters is what is being offered. It's a small class of only 6 students (could accommodate up to 10) in a small classroom. Nicole, our instructor is a Respiratory Therapist by trade & is confident & knowledgeable in her teaching the class. No muss no fuss. Its STRESS FREE---entirely the reason I opted to elect this place instead of taking it at my job site. It is not economically sound but I value my comfort over anxiety if I am to do recertification every 2 years! We were shown videos/instructions in addition to her teaching & the CPR dummies are provided for demonstration & we paired up to demonstrate skills. It was performed at ease & it is what I appreciated. Most importantly, Nicole made herself available for questions & clarifications with the post test--thank goodness. Once again, easy-peasy lemon squeezey, loved this portion! Will definitely return & recommend this site. *****CAUTION****** **NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE** I had to take the stairs with my bum knee (LOL). Hey it was okay, I just took my time. Used to take it in Long Beach (991 Medical) for convenience & closer to home but in comparison this place, Elite ROCKS! Really glad & very satisfied I tried it here. Will retrieve my cards by the end of the day via email. So far the (high) price paid is looking like it's worth it ($240 combo ACLS/BLS).

She was so welcoming and supportive, and she gave me options with details on private 1:1 class or a group class. I decided to do the basic CPR class with a group, and it was a great experience. Liza shared her plethora of knowledge, and she made the 3 hours of class engaging that I didnt even realize the time had passed! No one wanted to take breaks lol, and that goes to show how well the instructor organized and taught the material! The hands on experience along with the examples/experiences Liza shared were all great. Also leading up to the lesson, all questions were answered quickly and well-explained. Pricing was super fair! The class itself was also quite entertaining, and Marc does a good job keeping everybody engaged. Parking is easy to find, and in the classroom itself, he included snack, water, and lots of training equipment to practice on. Right after the class ended, Marc uploaded, and emailed us our ACLS/BLS/PALS certification cards, even before we paid. He accepts credit card payment as well. Overall, super super happy that I found Prime CPR and Marc, and 100% what choose him again. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Trust me when I say you won't be able to find another spot that offers such low prices and is taught by someone who's genuinely passionate about teaching. Right off the bat, you could tell that it was going to be a fun class because of his energy. Even though it took me 4 - 5 hours to finish, the time flew by fast because he was so engaging and tailored his teaching to the group. The way he remembers some of the information was so creative, unique, and memorable. Some were also inspired by his daughter when she was 14, which shows just how easy he can make these classes. Overall, it was such a stress-free class. You can tell that he genuinely wants everyone to succeed and feel confident when saving lives. The classroom was very spacious with lots of clean CPR dummies and seats. Parking was easy since they have a shared lot.

Weekly or bi-weekly payments are accepted for the 10 weekend CNA course. The staff takes care of everything from student CNA badges to sending in all of the paperwork needed to take the state exam. The class sizes are reasonable so instructors can provide individual attention to students if needed. If you're looking for a good school, priced reasonably with great instructors Healthcare Career Center is a fantastic choice.
