This location in La Mirada was very convenient for me since it's not far from my home. It is in the mall on Rosecrans/ La Mirada. Park near Wells Fargo bank and enter the two story building . Use stairs or the elevator to the second floor. Head towards the right after you get on the second floor. Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to check in. Our instructor, Kathy was punctual and informative. The class is a combination of video presentation and hands on with a mannequin ( Adult and infant) with Kathy supporting the information. The session was 1 1/2 hours . Test is taken together out loud . ( 100% pass rate guaranteed). You get a printed wallet copy of your certification at the end of class . For continuing education credits (3units) can be collected by going onto a website and paying $5.

They teach and certify first aid BLS ACLS and this is by the American Heart Association-- great!

This is great coaching and teaching. I found it to be highly valuable. They were very easy to work with my schedule and I really appreciate that.

The great reviews on Yelp did not disappoint! I signed up online and used the FIVEOFF coupon for the BLS course. With everything already paid for, I walked in, signed in, and took a seat. Our teacher was Megan and the class size for that session was 6. They have all the necessary equipment in house and we went over the entire class a little less than 1.5 hours. Megan did a great job being clear and the videos were clear and easy to remember. I learned a lot and I would def come back in 2 yrs to renew my certification! read more

Always has weekend classes to go around my schedule, I've always had amazing instructors, and will continue to come here for many years. This was my first time taking a CPR class. The video assisted me with proper demonstration of giving CPR. I also liked that the class was hands on. I previously took a cpr class online and did not feel confident since I did not get the hands on experience. I feel a lot more confident in performing basic resuscitation! read more

Save A Life CPR, an official training site for the American Heart Association and has been offering essential life-saving programs for both medical and non-medical professionals in Southern California since 1992. Our programs are designed to give students the confidence needed to recognize and respond to real life threatening emergencies and the skills that can save lives. As an AHA training site, we are dedicated to training the general public in CPR/AED with the goal of increasing survival rates for victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest which claims the lives of approximately 250,000 people in the U.S. every year. My experience left me feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously and that staff were more focused on defending one another than addressing legitimate questions about my child's safety. They run a great summer program and additional activities through out the year. The school itself is well taken care of and we do not doubt the care she receives. They are incredibly caring, patient, and deeply knowledgeable about early childhood education, sparking curiosity and a love for learning in the kids. My child is a super picky eater, but the staff is amazing at working with me to ensure mealtimes are positive and tailored to her needs. The communication here is fantastic--daily updates and as-needed feedback keep me in the loop, and during the first week, Mrs. Anne kept me posted daily on how my child doing every transition and activity that really put my mind at ease. Mrs. Anne surprised me with my child's moments with friends and while she is doing her work, playtime that sparked my days while I am at work. The daycare makes holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter so festive and fun, and they go above and beyond for birthdays and farewells, especially for kids transitioning to TK, kindergarten, or moving away--those moments feel so special! Summer water balloon days and the Halloween party are huge hits with the kids, creating such joyful memories. The classrooms are always clean and tidy, with toys disinfected daily, and even the storeroom for toys is impressively organized. Their supportive approach to potty training has also been a lifesaver, making the process smooth and stress-free.
