After contacting corporate they sent a lengthy apology and even mailed me a gift card that I did not ask for. Fortunately the over the top rude employee is nowhere to be seen any longer but neither is any other employees. Aldi's really seems to be running on minimum manpower because they never have anyone running a register and the shelves are a bit messy and understocked. I still go there but it is never become my one-stop shopping experience for all my grocery needs. I do like the meat and cheese sections as well as the ethnic / European products and the frozen section has a lot of unique products. The produce section may have a lot of products but the shelf life is suspect and the depth of product choices in all sections is limiting. Aldi's you have gone from a 5 star, to a 1 star and now back to a middle of the road 3 stars. Please replace yourself with your sophisticated big brother - Trader Joe.

The car is a sports car, so it would not fit on their racks to lift the car. That didn't stop them, they used a floor jack and did them one at a time, they went the extra mile and did the extra work. The home goods selection is small but seems to rotate in and out pretty regularly. This is a great store to find discount prices on quality name brand items and gift for those who are hard to shop for. They offer gIft cards if you just aren't sure what to purchase.

They could have also told me the shipping confirmation email would have worked. Instead they all refused to use critical thinking skills to try to help me make a return. Without packaging slip I should have been able to get store credit. They could have told me my confirmation shipping email would have worked as well. Instead the manager tells me in 20 days a new system update goes through and they will be able to issue refunds appropriately with today's technology. That is no hope to me because that's out of my return range from date of purchase. I combed through my house and only by the Grace of God found the packing slip. Every Wednesday they run a special for 5.55 rolls. Back a couple of years ago, the cashier there told me the lady who makes their sushi has been doing so for years - even turning down opportunities to start her own restaurant. She's super friendly and very accommodating to requests. The sushi rice is perfectly cooked and the flavor is always on point for me. Extremely consistent as well and I believe on par with other sushi restaurants. For a little over 5 bucks, I'm always satisfied.

The trash was overflowing, the tables were filthy, there was trash all over the floor, the area where you get napkins and utinsils was covered in food, the soda area was a wet, sticky mess, the staff behind the counter looked dirty and unkept, my order was wrong. There were crew members in the check out area just standing around chatting when they could have stepped up to help. My husband (who NEVER does this type of thing) called customer service from our table that HE had to wipe down before we would even sit down to eat to inform them of the condition of the cafe and they half heartly apologized and said they would send someone to take care of it. We waited around for about 20 minutes enjoying our ice cream and finally one of the guys who had previously been standing at the self check area came over and gave a less than stellar attempt to clean up before going back to stand around. Do better Sam's Club. There is always Costco ice cream.
