well my options have made no impact. Actually didn't think hey would (u no the 1 voice in the wilderness thing.) That said I thought I would add a comment or 2 following trying to continue shopping here (in spite of the issues) . You no doing the same thing the same way over and over expecting different results...yeah i may be crazy according to Einstein (and others). I've been a fan of save-a-lot since moving to this are 6 yrs ago.Still am. But everyone has their issues: 1. Not a fan of customer "bating" (u no sales with very limited quantities that are gone quickly..but now u'r stuck in the store to spend money anyway. 2. They used to carry more cases of prune juice (yeah I'm part of that older group). NOW its 2 cases on the top shelf and that's it. I always buy in, more or less in bulk, and used to always buy 2 cases at a time. That's gone and of course no back stock. I suggest sales are done because its just never available and its shoved up on the top shelf which is just an added inconvenience...and its getting frustrating to the point of looking for alternative stores. Yes i do recognize I'm only 1 customer and i recognize businesses don't cater to the single customers' needs. And customer doesn't trump numbers.. 3. the 5 for five deals were absolutely the best. I always bought the chopped vegetable (bell peppers etc) but they were gone also.....it just may not be worth the hassle to drive to 2 different save-a-alots just to buy the things i need. I've ALWAYS like shopping here; but its quickly becoming pointless. I wanted to add an addendum comment. They do often have in stock the frozen chicken leg quarters. It's a really good price point and if I'm shopping there i always pickup 3 of 4 of these (i go thru a lot of poultry). However, this by itself isn't enough to boost the rating. It may not be worth it regardless to have to drive to multiple locations just to get the few things i shop for even when buying quantities. There are other retailers. read more

Bought a gallon of milk from save a lot on Massachusetts Avenue a week ago I got half of it drank the sell by date was the 7/7/24 which is four more days That it should've been good so I took it back. The cashier who was very nice. Told me to go get another one, but then the manager came up and said that I could not switch that out for a new one because I had drank half of it which I told her yes I drank half of it, but I didn't get to drink the other half which I should've had four days to do. she would not exchange it. Words were said. I told her that that was a really good way to stand by their product and then I cussed her out and told her I would never be back. She told me to have a good day so I called them back to try to find out what the name of the manager on duty was she would not give it to me so all I can do now is call her the fat blonde bi--- , since I have no idea what her name was, she was very rude and I will never be back way to stand behind your customers !!! and I really hate to give any stars at all. I think that Yelp should make it to where you can give them. No stars are negative. I shouldn't have to give a positive. So just so you know, I have to put one stars, but I would actually give them a -2. read more

You can't go wrong with their meat selection. Much better quality than WalMart. Prices are great too, just remember to bring your own bags and you'll be ok. read more

I am overall a fan of Save a Lot grocery stores. It is not a store for all of your shopping. The produce & veggies are fresh & cheap. Canned products, pastas, cereal, juices, crackers....may not be name brand, but most are very good & fairly priced. in the frozen food section, they may surprise you on some item & prices. Frozen fruit for example is great & so much cheaper than say Publix, by like 50%. So it may not be the name brand, read the ingredients & save yourself some money. They do accept credit & debit cards. Remember to bring your own bags, not only for keeping it green, but they don't supply them, you have to buy them. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. I am willing to bag my own groceries and wait in line for the money I save shopping here rather than at other stores. Cannot agree with complaints in these reviews. Walmart and other store lines are as long. I shop regularly at this store and enjoy it. Everyone is friendly and helpful. It is clean and organized. Prices have increased recently and quality of meat and produce has declined slightly, but still better than any other local food stores I have experienced. I only go to other grocery stores to get certain natural/organic/free range items, specific juice, and pet food and products. This store is MUCH easier to shop than any others close by, less stressful, better prices. read more

Bought a case of Save A Lot water so far 4 of the bottles have a horrible taste to them. Of course my receipt is long gone. Will probably end up throwing the rest of the case away. read more

Although the food is inexpensive and I am happy with the overall grocery products there seems to be four to five registers that are always empty one o'clock with 15 customers waiting in line to check out the store definitely needs more help but is very clean and the few employees that are present when I visit are always professional and courteous read more

Although the staff is always very friendly the lines are outrageous each and every time I go there are 4 registers but one is open the employees are always very nice and helpful as they can be but there needs to be more employees in that office to have 4 registers and one open with five to ten people and a single line is just outrageous the full price I get put on my three stars to hire more staff read more

I have been shopping here for years. Used to love this store. They changed the store around and raised all their prices. I can shop for cheaper at Winn Dixie in the next parking lot and not have to bag my own groceries. I am very upset over this. The meats are lower quality lately too! read more

Every item I bought from frozen section was freezer burnt. I rarely stop here even though I pass it daily on my way home from work. It is a very clean store and is well priced though for budget shopping. read more
