I saw this little cafe on Instagram and I've been wanting to stop in ever since. I went on a Thursday around 11am - it wasn't very busy, there were only a couple of customers inside at the time. We were greeted right away. I ordered the crème brûlée iced signature latte and heavenly hash breakfast sandwich - both were really great. I will most definitely be back to order them again. Haley and Kalynn (sp?) were the girls working the counter at the time and they were so nice - we wanted to take some pictures on the swings with my baby boy and she showed us that there was actually a wall mount for your phone to take pictures - SUCH a good idea btw because everyone loves a good photo op these days. The interior is decorated very cutesy, I love the black accent walls with the plants and natural wood look. It's very spacious inside with plenty of seating, it's bigger than I expected. Adorable place! Had a large parking lot with other shops. The donuts were VERY fresh and flavorful. They are nice and fluffy and sweet. The Boston Cream was really good! Also tried the jalapeno bagel with cream cheese. It was light but crunchy, good texture. The customer service is an A+. They are SO friendly and did a great job. The area is cute, rustic and clean. I like airy and light donuts I tried a bunch but the strawberry frosted and chocolate were my favorites for sure. Fun little local coffee shop with really unique options. It's a little drive for me but so worth it. Their sandwiches are delicious but do take some time to prepare so prepare to wait. Unfortunately, it seems quality has gone down. We visited on a Sunday--the last day of that week's specialty donuts. We were at the register placing an order for donuts and a customer already seated asked to "return" her donut because it was stale. I thought, "okay luckily that's not the flavor we wanted." Unluckily for us, all of the different flavors we ordered were also stale. So I'm not sure if they aren't making fresh donuts on Sundays since it's the last day of the week, and they change flavors on Monday? Instead of selling subpar food, maybe they should throw them away, or offer them free with any other purchase since they are at least a day old? We've been customers for years, but I don't want to waste money on donuts unless I see an influx of reviews saying the quality has increased. read more

I am partial to the filled raised donuts, which are pillows of delight obviously imported from heaven. With a full coffee bar, and talented baristas you will have a difficult time stumping them when you order your hot beverage of choice. This is a locally owned and run establishment. I've been here a few times now after being recommended by a friend. It's a cute little coffee shop in a nondescript shopping plaza. The interior is inviting and warmly decorated. A great place to meet up with friends or spend some time studying. Personally I've only ever stopped by to pick up lunch but each time all the staff were a delight. My order also always came out in a timely manner. Their food and drinks are very very good. I'm partial to their lox sandwich and I won't soon forget the taste of their lavender latte. I placed an order for this café on too good to go. Pick up time was anywhere between 7 AM and 1 PM. I showed up at 12:45 on my lunch break to pick up my order and they had already shut down. Chairs were up on tables sign out front said "sorry we are closed". The hours listed outside state that they're not closed until 1 PM and yet they had already been closed for who knows how long by the time I showed up. They did not even update too good to go to let them know that they were closing. This place is a hidden gemI would come here every day if it was closer to me not even kidding. I went here twice in one week when I first tried it. The first visit we got the cinnamon toast crunch donut usually I'm not a donut person but this one was perfect and not too sweet. We also split a lox your socks off bagel and usually coffee shops don't have great food so I was super happy they had good options. We also shared a coffee flight (cinnamon roll latte, hazelnut latte, lavender latte and raspberry rose latte). The baristas were so nice and even made my flight with modifications. The star of the show is the Black Beauty latte with activated charcoal, glitter and vanilla. It tastes incredible I promise its not just a gimmick. Definitely worth the drive. read more

Unfortunately this business is not the same anymore. While my family has been going to BAM since it opened, we are finally calling it quits after several recent experiences (both personal and business-related) that have resulted in the following concerns: 1. Inaccurate/missing orders - Several times we have been handed orders that are missing food. Once again today, I was handed only 1 of my order of two sandwiches and had to pull up my online order receipt to show that I had actually ordered two. 2. Long wait times - Take the above example, and this resulted in just short of a 40-minute wait for 2 sandwiches, and this was ordered ahead online in hopes of a shorter wait time. We have experienced this example multiple times, and it is no different with ordering in-person or online. Any upcoming plans or time constraints you have, just know you need to double or triple your time if you plan to visit BAM. 3. Cleanliness concerns - The bar area where food is served has open containers of food products, dirty food prep utensils, open bags of ingredients, foggy glassware, etc. The donut display case and coffee area plexiglass need a thorough wipe-down. The baseboards and walls need wiping and painting. The floors could use a thorough scrubbing as well. If this was a one-time fluke, I wouldn't be mentioning it. Over time this has contributed to the business appearing deteriorated and unkempt. We have loved BAM for years, and we realize they are a small business which is why we have supported them for so long. Unfortunately we will no longer be going back or using them for business purposes. read more

Okay I get the hype now, their donuts alone are delicious! Huge, fluffy, and not too sweet. We loved the maple bacon and Boston cream. S'mores coffee was good too. I found BAM Bar from a yelp suggestion for donuts in the area. This café looked really cute on their website, and the donuts looked incredible, so I gave them a try. I came in shortly after 8am on a Monday, but found the location to be quite different than what you would expect based on the website. The shop was dirty, and somewhat dingy. The glass cases were not clean, and there was food / crumbs all over the floor like it hadn't been swept in a long time. Most of the chairs were stained and had food spills on them as well. I think they are going for an Up cycled sort of theme, but it just looks rundown. The menu was pricey compared to franchises type places, but the donuts were huge and specialty, so I expected it (Paid just over $12 for a donut & small tea). I had a maple bacon yeast donut, which I thought looked the best. (I noticed that most of the names hadn't been updated on the case, so you had to pick the donut based on looks instead of the label.) Unfortunately, the donut tasted quite stale despite looking fresh. I didn't finish it. I also ordered the Pineapple Blueberry Bliss tea, which was quite good actually. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, and since I came specifically for the donuts, I probably wouldn't come back. read more

My Daughter found this place on Google. A quick stop revealed a strip mall tenant with some excellent pastries and a good coffee selection. Borrowing from Cold Stone ice cream, you order Like it or Love it sizes on the menu. I enjoyed my blueberry donut and Latte. The employees are friendly. My only quibble is the lack of ventilation. It seems stuffy inside, and any cooking fills the air with food fumes. Perhaps the landlord needs to install a vent fan. read more

If you've read any of my reviews, you know that they are typically all positive - praising joints for their vegan options. That being said, I'll start off by saying it's really great that a new local coffee shop has vegan options (cream cheese, butter, bagels, Just Egg, dairy free milk, etc.) If you've read any of my reviews, you also know that I love shouting out great customer service. Unfortunately, I have to shout out the opposite for BAM Bar. I've visited this place a few times now, mostly when I'm visiting my family on the weekends. The weekends are insanely busy, which is great to see - but that also means that customer service has been lacking. I don't think it necessarily should be that way, but I gave them a pass. I haven't written a review so far as I've wanted to see what the customer service was like on a week say. Fast forward to a Tuesday morning (4/5) around 9am and I arrived to a fairly empty establishment. Placed an order for two bagels (one with vegan butter, one with regular butter) and two oat milk lattes with peanut butter. I received my order quickly, and went to the parking lot. I took a sip of my drink and was a little shocked that it tasted nothing like the other PB lattes I've ordered here lately. So what do you do? You go back in and ask them to please fix or remake the drink. The woman at the counter was not happy about this, proclaiming she put "big scoops" of peanut butter in each and stirred them. Also stating she "didn't know what to do." This was shocking as even Starbucks will propel your incorrect drink out the window, make you a new one and also give you a hug. Not wanting to be a recipient of this behavior any longer, I just left. Took the coffee as is. Another thing to note - the bag with the bagels had two containers in them. One with (I assume) vegan butter, and one with non-vegan butter. Neither of these were labeled. If you sell a vegan version of something, it would make sense to label it. That could be really scary for someone with a dairy allergy had they took a guess and used the wrong one. To BAM Bar: I would highly recommend fixing this. I've probably spent over $100 here already, but I don't think I'll be back. I really liked the concept of the place and it's vegan offerings, but the customer service (lack of) is just not it. I'd much rather give my money to a reliable company like Starbucks, or even another local coffee joint in the area. read more

We originally went to the location on Little Rd which is apparently closed. There weren't any signs in the window stating that so we had to call this location a few times to confirm. Google (where we found BAM bar) still states that both locations are open and the building signage is still up so it was slightly confusing. Anyway, we opted to drive over to this location and by the time we got there (11:45ish) pretty much everything was sold out. They are supposed to be open until 3 pm but only had three or four bagels total for us to choose from. We wanted to have lunch but opted for toasted bagels instead because again, options were limited. The bagels we got were slightly toasted on the outside but still completely soft on the inside and were honestly only okay at best. We weren't moved by the custom service we received either. The one bright spot for us was the young man making sandwiches. I didn't catch his name but he was very sweet and seemed like a genuinely happy person. Overall, we likely won't be back unless we happen to be in the area early in the morning when they have a larger selection. Maybe the donuts are better? read more

I have been to BAM bar multiple times and this same incident seems to be a reoccurring theme. We did a mobile order that states the order would be ready by 9:20am. We arrived at BAM bar at 9:30am and our food had not been prepared. A customer came in while we waited and the same thing happened to her. We finally received our meal an HOUR later. Of course, the breakfast sandwich we originally wanted was not what we ended up with as they were out of multiple food items. We love the staff. It just seems there needs to be a better system in place for online orders. read more

I do not love giving out poor reviews but this place has been nothing but an expensive disappointment every time I have visited. The original location has poor ventilation and you can't walk in without being smothered in food smell. It is over the top. Signature drinks are cute, but way too sweet for me. I ordered a short latte and quickly understood why they have so many flavored drinks on the menu. The breakfast sandwich was very good. I will give them that. Second visit I ordered a bagel with cream cheese which was grilled with runny cream cheese. I have never had a bagel grilled for cream cheese. Both visits to the Little Road location they were out of menu items, first visit there were no donuts at 9 am, and second visit there was no cold brew. Staff at the Little Rd. location are friendly. First time here and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and the shop was clean . They had a beautifully arranged case of baked good as well as a mean menu of food items. I was set on coffee so I had a vanilla latte with oat-milk and it was divine . My friend had the banana foster and she was in heaven. This is a wonderful spot to chill and enjoy the Moment . I don't have enough amazing things to say about this place. Not only were the donuts fantastic but the staff was SO friendly. We got the glazed apple donut and the buttercream plus an old fashion donut and apple fritter to-go. The glazed apple was one of the best donuts I've ever had. It was fluffy and soft with the perfect amount of filling. The to-go donuts we saved for the next day and they were still JUST AS DELICIOUS. This place is on point. Their bagels are obviously homemade and awesome. Then to make them into sandwiches makes it even better. Their text toasty chicken tender bagel sandwich is incredible, sweet salty and savory all together. We got a few other bagel sandwiches to share at home and they are all great in their own way. The peach patio Palmer is a great twist on an old favorite. My son got the shimmer and shine. He loves the glitter in the drink. Wife got the black beauty with oat milk and is her new favorite.
