These guys were incredible. I was referred by a friend to call HVR for an inspection after my kitchen had water intrusion. Before the referral with HVR, I had called a highly popular company; they inspected, charged their fee and provided a copy of their findings and the estimate for the work. It was a bit pricey. I was not impressed with how the inspection was conducted nor with the inspector, so I called HVR and they came out the same day - took pictures and used technology to measure the moisture level without an inspection fee. Everyone has been great throughout the entire process. Between insurance claims and delays in construction (a different company), Wes has kept in touch with me. Yesterday Andrew and his partner (I'm sorry-I missed his name!) began the process of moving everything out of my garage. They let me know immediately when they were able to reach heirlooms I was afraid had been destroyed by water to show me the items were good. They gave packed everything that wasn't in plastic bins into boxes that they labeled and numbered. Everything has been placed in a locked pod to be stored offsite during the construction, then they will bring it all back. If you have a need for this type of service, give them a call! read more

We've had water issues in the past and they are awful to deal with, but one roofer, one GC, and two plumbers all seemed to agree that there was no active leak. A plumber advised consulting a mold specialist before opening the wall for further investigation, and he referred us to High Velocity. Wes was professional, punctual and instantly trustworthy. Wore a mask AND booties, which I totally appreciated. Tested the wall in question (and several others) and took the time to answer ALL of my questions. Turns out there was no moisture in the walls, damage was aesthetic only and not related to water. My husband and I were shocked as we had been bracing ourselves for the worst, but we certainly appreciated his honesty. My in-law's place suffered flooding when the cartridge for the under-the-sink water filter exploded some time overnight. Water had seeped beneath the floorboard, down the hallway to the lower floor bedrooms, and into the garage. I live in another state but had to coordinate the plumber (to stop the water problems), and then the plumber mentioned the need for a water remediation expert and recommended High Velocity. Wes answered immediately and rolled out with his crew within an hour or so. He sent pictures of the scope of water damage, explained the water remediation steps (removal of water, dryers to be left onsite, etc.), and would update me by phone or text, often with more pictures, over the next several days. Even more helpful was his knowledge of the insurance adjusting process. He explained how he expected the adjusting process to take place based on his years of experience working with insurance companies, and indeed, it played out exactly as he said it would! My mom's plumber contacted Wes, Project Manager with High Velocity Restoration and asked Wes to call me to discuss the clean-up and water spillage of my mom's house. The house was built in 1941. Wes said he could get a team out to my mom's house later that afternoon. Wes's team members Arturo and Manuel came out and inspected underneath the house and showed me pictures of the water spillage and damaged 4 inch pipe. Before the old galvanized pipe could be replaced by our plumber, the wet soil needed to be removed by a hose suction generator to prevent mold and 200 lbs. of a special material would be placed on top of the soil to absorb the water. The job was completed the next morning. I was impressed with how well Arturo and Manuel worked as a Team and they were very Professional. They both ensured that the work area was clean when they left. Thanks Guys!! The next morning, Wes emailed me an estimate for the project and explained that Jasmine would email me the bill and she explained how the billing process would work.
