Communication was solid throughout everything was confirmed in writing and by text, and the online process for signing and payment made it easy. On the day of the job, Victor personally arrived with a site manager and crew. Even though the space was only 975 ft, the team came prepared: two trucks plus a van, and a U-Haul for trash removal. The entire crew was professional, friendly, respectful, and approachable. I checked in multiple times during the work day, and each time they showed me progress and asked if it met my expectations. They handled every request I had with a positive attitude and didn't hesitate to address even small extra tasks I included in the quote. This payment is credited to the bill and it wound up being a non-issue due to selecting BH environmental for the job, but none of the other companies I had out requested payment for the quoting visit.

From the beginning, Craig was honest with us about what to expect and told us we would probably be working together for about a year. He was right. Our claim closed just over the one year mark. What I appreciated most was that Craig truly stood up for us. When the insurance company would not commit to temporary housing, he pushed to get us into a nice hotel and made sure our food expenses and overnight parking for two cars were covered until a comparable home could be found. He also arranged for our packing and storage and took away so much of the frustrating back and forth with the insurance adjusters. Craig is calm, honest, personable and persistent when he needs to be. Most importantly, he genuinely cares about his clients. Home Remediation service is something I certainly wasn't planning on looking into, and hope I don't need to again anytime soon. That said, thank goodness we found Darren and his team when our house suffered significant multi-floor water damage. Sorting out responsibilities with our insurance provider lost two days following incident. So it was critical [and so appreciated] that Darren responded quickly by the time I reached out to him on day three. He came by within hours of my call, assessed the damage, was extremely transparent with his examination, and left with clear next steps (what time he can send me the estimate, when he can get his team over, and what activities would take place in the coming days/ weeks). It was smooth sailing with FMH from day 1. Knowledgeable and reasonable pricing are default elements I look for in every vendor I work with. But we were incredibly lucky to also get thoughtfulness, responsiveness, understanding of client's priorities and a trusted advisor out of Darren. Needing to move out of our house, with two school-aged kids, while I had scheduled work trips across the country, and sorting through details with insurance provider could've made this an incredibly stressful time for our family. But Darren helped alleviate the stress by checking in almost daily to share progress update on our house, test results, and provided guidance on next steps (timeline, rebuild referrals, questions to ask, etc). Thank you YELP! This company is incredible. After a few days away from home, I opened my front door and was in shock to see water covering my whole house. I searched online and found many flood service providers and Fix My Home. They answered my call on a Sunday night and Alec came out within an hour. These guys got to work immediately and within a few hours the water on the floors was gone. The following day FMH came out with a crew. Ken, Oscar and Alec as well as Darren. They showed great care with what was happening at my home. The time and patience I was given was amazing. The entire process was explained to me and the timeline of completion was very accurate. They provided me with daily updates and I was able to access the job process and progress daily in real time with the APP they use. I was able to send those details to my insurance company and was promptly paid within a few days for the claim. After the recent earthquake we had a cracked valve in the upstairs bathroom, that we didn't notice until the downstairs bathroom ceiling started bubbling up. With a newborn in the house we didn't want mold to start growing so we needed someone to help fast. The first company we called was fix my home, and they came out that day. Darren was super professional, and was able to asses the problem areas right away. His estimate was true through the end of the project with no surprises coming in the middle of the job. We had mold problem at our business and one of our friends referred Fix My Home company to us. Darren was very professional and very knowledgeable of what he was doing. Also very patient when it comes to explaining and answering all the questions regarding the mold issue. Have you ever bought and moved into a home and there was mold in the kitchen? Well that happened to me and my husband and we found it three months after we moved in. In the process of selling my home I ran into an inspector who continually promoted his own business the entire time he was inspecting my home! I usually never use biohazard or cleaning services but downstairs one day my son found a whole bunch of mold under the carpet we ended up ripping up the carpet ourselves to find black mold all on the ground I called the guys at fix my home they came over they and did a great job they had mask on at all times were very respectful and very good at clearing all the mold in my home read more

Was worried about mold after a pipe leaked in the wall. Called Darren and he came out to our house and tested for mold everywhere. Sean and Brandon were the two that we contacted the most, and they were so helpful throughout our entire process. They took the time to understand our situation (lots of issues) and walked us through what would need to be done in order to get our place back to the way it was. They even gave us a great deal compared to other water restoration companies, which was just the cherry on top. They were able to work with our schedule as we also needed to work with our general contractor at the same time. They made sure to put up barriers to keep anything from spreading to the rest of our house and they got to work. Edwin at Beach Plumbing recommended us to Restorerz, and said they were the best in the area. I trusted his judgment, as I had a previous experience about 8 years prior with a different company (recommended by my insurance company) that was horrific in every sense the word. Joel and his team (Eduardo, David and Javier) came to the property the morning after Edwin identified the leak and immediately created a game plan. They laid out the entire process start to finish, gave realistic timeframes, offered to speak with insurance adjusters, and were always checking in and within reach during the process. They tore down the walls and got the room prepped for mitigation immediately to get the room dried out. They were extra careful to make sure the rest of my house was clean while they did performed the job. They said they would show up every day to check on the fans, which they did. Christobal came next and helped explained the situation to the insurance company over the phone with me on the line. He showed up when the field adjuster came out to the property to explain the situation. He became my main point of contact. On top of all this, after they were finished the job, they had their Claims Consultant Morelia keep in touch with me during the payment portion with the insurance. She knew the process backwards and forwards and was extra helpful in managing the flow of documents to the insurance company. She provided me with every bit of information I needed to make sure insurance was properly charged. While I hope to never have a situation like this happen again, I would recommend Restorerz in a heartbeat to anyone suffering through a water loss and needing their services. The owner Eduard was also very reasonable and kind and willing to work with me even though the insurance company delayed the case for months. Overall I'm glad everything was closed and my house is put back together.
