And then we also wanted to have our warping wooden floors, sanded, and refinished. I was able to schedule to have Adolfo come out and give a quote, very quickly, and they were patient with us, even though we didn't want the work done right away. The quote was very fair and they let us know exactly what to expect. He had samples with him, and I was able to choose the color of carpet and what we wanted done with the wood flooring. Adolfo even saved me from making a mistake of staining a floor that didn't need it. They were great with scheduling and completing the work even ahead of schedule. It looks amazing. I wish I had some before pictures. We did not realize what a difference sanding our wood floors would make! The communication with Karin, in their office was fantastic from start to finish. I asked if we could use wood from closets so it'd match perfectly. He said no, they use new wood and stain to match and they do one of these types of repair once a week and are very good at it. "Read our reviews" he said. Hence my review of caution. He was able to fit us in to their schedule quickly. But I think that was to our detriment. I asked if we could schedule a Friday Monday or two consecutive days the next week. He said they could do in one day, and it wouldn't be a rush job. Ok. Luciano arrived right on time on Friday morning at 815. He worked literally non stop. Left for more supplies, came right back and continued. I arrived home at 4pm. I told him we're fine with this going in to next week. He said no, he wanted to finish today. Ok. The way our house is set up, this area is right in the middle of all rooms, so we camped out in the den. For 5 hours! I was incredibly frustrated, it wasn't until 830-900 when he called us in. The first thing he said when I turned the corner was it's not a perfect match. I looked and strongly agreed. And told him so. John asked via text how I liked it. I told him. No reply. No options offered. Took my $1050 and we have an obvious repair job. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Luciano's work was that of a craftsman. Except for the critical piece of color match. Far more brown than golden brown. See pic. I feel him working so long and into the evening, he rushed this important piece. He should have stopped when he realized he was on the wrong track color wise. I really wish he had. Proceed with caution. You'll need to follow up multiple times re: questions and communication. I texted John a question regarding our animals. No reply. I texted question regarding using Zelle or Venmo. No reply. I asked for our written agreement after he promised he'd send it. Never did. I asked again. Nothing, Finally I received it at 9pm AFTER job was done. Again, proceed with caution.

We had John quote us to restore our flooring, including repairing and installations of where there was no hardwood flooring (we tore out a built in, and one closet had no hardwood). There was dog pee stains, ground in grime, some termite damage, lots of holes from over zealous threading of cables over the 100 years of the homes time on earth - our home we had just recently purchased...needed help. We discovered after ripping out a built in, that our flooring...was lying on top of two other floors that were never removed. Wild. The selection of floors in store is huge, and William was able to get to work and do our whole house in 1.5 weeks. We had a tri-level so that included stairs, restaining our handrails, baseboards + paint, and even helped us on a random project we had for our fireplace. We got another quote from another vendor and there was no competition. William was able to provide flooring materials that were much more to our taste, at a higher spec (AC5 vs AC4), and included much more thorough work (a complete demo vs partial, handrails, and others) that the other vendor either didn't include and/or wasn't able to do.

It was difficult finding a granite repair source because the sources I found and called or messaged…read moredidn't return my phone call. I waited a few weeks and tried again and finally got in touch with Manuel at Stone Polish. We settled on a date and I confirmed the day earlier to make sure he was still coming. He messaged me back quickly and the next day he showed up 20 minutes early. We discussed the situation and the process for repairing the granite behind the sink. About two hours later he was finished. It's significantly better than what it was. There were a number of granite chunks and pieces that were loose plus, some of the metal reinforcement was so bad, it had disintegrated. Manuel reused some of the larger pieces and used epoxy to blend in some of the other areas. All in all, we're very happy with the outcome. Manuel was very personable and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

When we requested a quote, we made sure to include furniture moving, and it was absolutely worth it. They moved everything so quickly yet carefully, ensuring nothing was damaged in the process. Even better, they put everything back exactly as it was, making the entire experience stress-free. One of the most impressive things was how efficiently they completed the project--just four days! They started on Monday morning by moving all the furniture and doing the demo. Tuesday and Wednesday were spent leveling the floors (where we couldn't step on it), and by Thursday evening, our new floors were installed, cleaned, and our furniture was back in place. The whole process was smooth, well-organized, and on schedule. The reason our previous LVP floors were chipping was due to an uneven subfloor, which AC Flooring identified and properly leveled. Now, we can truly feel the difference--a much more solid and sturdy floor that feels built to last. We also went with their recommended flooring supplier, and though it's only been a few days, we can already tell that this floor is of much better quality and durability. One thing we really appreciated was how thorough they were with cleaning up after installation. They vacuumed and even mopped the floors before putting the furniture back--such a thoughtful touch that not all contractors do! The only minor things we wish we had known earlier: - Since we were reusing our existing baseboards, we didn't realize we'd need to hire a painter to touch them up afterward. Brandon did recommend a painter, which was helpful, but in hindsight, we wish we had this done before the furniture was moved back to avoid having to shuffle things around again. - We also expected to keep some extra planks, as we did with our previous flooring installation. However, this time, we were told most of the leftover pieces were damaged and unusable. While we saw them take all the planks out of the box during installation, a suggestion for the future would be to reuse more of the cut pieces in other areas to minimize waste. Aside from these small things, everything else was absolutely top-notch! Brandon is such a nice guy--easy to talk to, professional, and truly cares about his work. We highly recommend AC Flooring and are so happy we found them. While I hope I won't need new floors anytime soon, if I ever do, I'd hire Brandon and his team again in a heartbeat.
