BE AWARE OF THIEVES! I had a small electrical fire at my house on 2/14/23. My landlord hired this company to do the cleaning. The company instructed us that we needed to clear the house so they can do a proper cleaning. We had stored some of our personal belongings in the attic, mind you, they did not mention anything about accessing the attic. Doug, a representative from the company contacts me saying they now need to access the attic to do some repairs above the room where the fire had happened. He then asked me if it was okay for his guys to move my belongings. I did give them permission to move my belongings due to the fact that I work long hours and wasn't going to be home anytime soon. Fast forward 2 weeks, that's how long the job took. I move back in the house and a few days go by and something tells me to check my belongings. I find that someone took some of my mother's jewelry. The boxes are completely empty. I contacted Doug via phone call about the situation and he basically calls me liar and when I ask him for his company's information, he did not want to tell me. From the moment their team stepped into the picture on September 14, 2022 until completion on October 19th I have nothing but great things to say about Doug, Sam, Aron, Kalvin, Jose and Ashton. They walked me through the mitigation/restoration process one step at a time, making sure to answer all of my questions along the way, and I can tell you, I had a lot of questions being that this was my first go around with water damage and settling with the insurance company. My ordeal began when my upstairs neighbor's toilet overflowed. It ran for close to an hour before being detected. Needless to say, the damage was done. Puroclean was recommended by our insurance company, and I am happy to say that they have so far been fantastic. Doug has been more than responsive, extremely knowledgeable, and honest. He was able to thus far turn what was a headache into just a minor snafu. I will update if we complete the work with him - time is of the essence when it comes to water damage, and Doug very honestly told me his company's availability so we may have to look for someone else since his scheduling is so packed right now. Super professional and super knowledgeable. Doug addressed and cured rather extensive nicotine and tobacco damages to the walls, floors and ceilings in a rental unit. The process was lengthy but worth it. After he was done, the stains he removed filled several large bags trash bags with browned and yellowed rags!
