This facility has pretty much everything that you can imagine as far as a beverage center. They have IPA and light IPA, they have you are more full body beers, and also light beers as well. They also sell wine coolers of all different types of varieties. They really have just about something for everybody in here even selling kegs, some you may have to order ahead of time. I am not much of a drinker but I do on occasion enjoy a good full-bodied beer or a nice glass of wine. If you would like to try to find a place that has just about everything this would be the place to go for your beverage needs. Please remember though to drink responsibly. Never drink and drive. I came here looking for some Mike's Hard Lemonade, my libation of choice. I couldn't have gotten it anywhere, but this place was on the way. Upon entering I couldn't get over how dark it was inside. I found my way to the section with the Mike's stuff and discovered not all the shelves were clearly labeled with the prices. Perhaps some fell off or they were rearranging things. Don't know, but I was planning on buying it anyway so off I went. There was no one at the counter when I got there, but someone showed up within a minute or so. The price seemed a bit higher than at the supermarket, but with the pandemic probably all prices are higher. Upon leaving I realized I still had my sunglasses on (Doh!) so that explains the darkness. They used to have Kloster Andechs beer here regularly. I visited this monastery in Germany and drank at their beer garden. I don't know how long they have been retailing and exporting, but I found it one day at Savemore and have been returning ever since. Some claim it is the best beer in the world. It would certainly contend. However, they have not had it in a long time now, and I have asked for it repeatedly. One of the workers told me the person in charge of ordering "always forgets about it." Another beverage center has ordered it for me and they have proven reliable in providing it. I am therefore lowering my rating from a 4 to a 3. I also come here for Boylan Soda and hard cider. Service is somewhat detached, and prices aren't quite what you'd expect from a beverage center. The extensive selection makes up for that somewhat, but much less so since they stop having Andechs regularly. I am likely to end up buying it in both places if they both carried it regularly. I'd go back to the 4 rating here also. read more

If you know the local "Beer Store Scene" as I have discovered in the area, Savemore continues to be head and shoulders above. The staff and selection is the best around. Hands. Down. I walked in one day and found an iPod on display (around 2004). I asked how to enter to win it... I soon found that there was no drawing, the display was being taken down and was graciously given the newest hot tech toy. (So consider me biased) The hot air inside has been remedied by two industrial sized vents in the ceiling coupled by a fan that offers plenty of air circulation. Cigarettes are at a State minimum. The staff has special ordered specific beers for me free of charge. The staff is almost always extremely helpful. Wal-Mart? Forget it. No one there knows beer. Growler selection is great. Craft Beer selection both Cold and off the shelf is great (as they've recently expanded their coolers and shelves alike). Where else does the staff ask to load your purchase in your car for you these days? I'm not surprised that there isn't another store in the same zip code. Go in from 9-5 for best service. Ask for Rob or Bob. Both are experts. I have no complaints. There is a tremendous amount of pride in the ownership of that company. As for the person who was looking for cold beer in storage?! Um. No. There are only kegs stowed in the back. 30 racks during the busy season. Suffice to say... I know a tremendous amount about this place of business. I've been a lifelong customer back from "the old" store next to the rearing horse. Remember that? Savemore is one of those places that has helped define my life in Clifton Park. Its part of what makes Clifton Park/Halfmoon a great place to live. read more

Savemore has the best craft beer selection in the area and the prices are standard. The service has always been friendly and helpful. This is my go-to beer place when I'm in Clifton Park, and I could get lost for hours looking over all of the craft brews that they have. read more

This is strictly about the customer service issue in regards to bottle redemption. We tried to return bottles today. Had them sorted. Masks on. There was a sign at the door saying that you can't return them in bags. So as we tried to enter, we were very rudely stopped at the open door by the cashier saying the same thing. He said, can't you read the sign? We said, how can you return the bottles now? No answer. We won't be returning there. He could've handled the situation better. It's too bad because they have a great selection and we have understand but that's totally uncalled for. We will be sharing that with neighbors. read more

Standard beer store with all of the usual beers and imports you can find most anywhere. The import and microbrew selection is one of the top in the area, with a large variety of Belgian, German, and British imports and a whole host of microbrews from local breweries as well as some west coast favorites. Prices are what you would expect for the beer you're buying. read more

Very large selection of macro beer and soft drinks, but also a solid wall (and a half if you count islands) of craft beer from around the world. I can usually find most limited release beers here. The staff is friendly and most are very knowledgeable about craft beer. I always enjoy chatting about upcoming releases and interesting finds with them when I visit. As for prices, I can't speak to anything but the craft beer, and it's prices compare to other quality area beer stores. The only down side is they have no air conditioning, so expect to devote the time to really chill your beer down if you buy it in the summer months (I've never had an issue with spoilage). They have been moving a good selection of craft beer to their coolers as well, if you want that instant gratification. read more

Spent over $400 on Beer and wine coolers for a party we where having then brought empties back and owner gave me a hard time that they don't usually take back that many? Are you kidding me! Had attitude right from the beginning,line up bottles on counter, OK Empty cans in cart,OK Keeps leaving and coming back How many cans in the 2 carts?,Im sorry you didn't tell me i had to count them! On an average week, I may stop in several times. Until today. Tonight, I went into the cooler to get my usual, but they were out. So I found an employee at the bottle return, and asked him if he had any more cold ones in the back, as this has happened before and they would in the back and get it. Tonight, the employee did not believe me that the store was out, and made a special point to check the cooler himself. When he too discovered there were no cold ones in the cooler, instead of checking in the back, said to me "Oh well, guess we are sold out. You better get here earlier next, because the early bird gets the worm." I left, went home and called the store manager and explained to him what just happened. While speaking with me and even though he could hear my frustration, he continued to check out customers, and asked me to repeat myself. I said to him, you have a customer on the phone making a complaint to you, and you are not making them the center of your attention? His reply was to hang up on me. Very poor customer service on the part of the employee and the manager. WalMart is right up the road, guess I will get my beer there. read more
