This used to be my go-to thrift store back when I didn't know as much about thrifting as I do now. I guess this is one of the better thrift stores, but what takes their ever-so-coveted fifth star away is their prices. Looking back now, I don't know why I forked over $9 for a plain, no-name brand (albeit nice) sweater, or $8 for basic jeans, or $12 for a button-up top. What was I thinking?! This store has great basics, a few statement pieces hidden like gems throughout the store...and GREAT SHOES (generally). I also love their quirky and CHEAP furniture; I can't wait to move out (in a month, yay!) so I can decorate my place with their selection. Very clean store. Clothes are color-coordinated, even. Has fitting rooms. They have 50% off days according to what color sticker is on the price tag (probably to move old merchandise fast). I wouldn't count on finding tons of desirable stuff at half off, though. They also have 50% off the whole store around certain holidays. If you bring a plastic grocery bag full of clothes to donate, they'll give you 20% off your next purchase. Something that bothered me about the last time I went was that it was 15 minutes until the store closed and I was about to go in the fitting room and try some things on but a surly worker locked the rooms right in front of my face without explanation...rude. And when I asked him why, he said the store was about to close. I said there was still time left, and he just ignored me completely after that, and stood between the fitting rooms and the exit, not looking AT me, but looking slightly BEYOND me (you know what I mean?), waiting for me to leave. I tried on all the tops in public over the clothes I was already wearing just to spite him, and made my purchases. I wasn't about to let a disrespectful worker ruin my shopping experience! But maybe he was just tired and having a bad day. read more

This place rules!! Very organized and clean. Just when I was about to give up, I found a dress ( my bf had much better luck than I did getting a sweater, shirt and a pair of jeans). I got to the register, ready to pay 6 bucks, the gal at the register told me "3 dollars and 30 cents" I went wha???. I left happy. We are totally going back. ;) read more

I LOVE Savers. My closet is full of jeans and sweaters and awesome stuff found here. My bookshelf is stuffed with their cheap paperbacks. My husband's video game trunk is full of old Nintendo and Atari games. LOVE IT. I've been shopping here for years and will continue to for years to come. Only complaints: the wait for a fitting room sucks sometimes, your hands WILL get dirty, and sometimes you will leave empty handed. It's okay though, the next time you go you will find your hidden treasure (like my brand-new-never-worn Doc Martens I got for $20)! read more

Savers has 50% off days on or near major holidays. Today was their Labor Day 50% off clothing, shoes and accessories sale. I walked away with 3 pairs of skinny jeans, 3 shirts(J.crew), 1 beautiful jacket and a small cosmetic purse for $20. I walk around the store 2-3 times and always see something new. They are constantly re-stocking. The staff is always friendly and helpful! read more

My first time donating items to this place,and it couldn't had been any easier. Abel was very helpful,I like how he was attentive to my little niece and nephew who were also helping unload bags and bags of good stuff! treasures and discounts on discounts. this isn't that practical, but i would recommend going during non-peak hours in order to make sure you get a dressing room. i'm a thrift shop nut, so i always find a ton of stuff to try and i think they only have two rooms. i love the highly organized concept. it seems like goodwill is doing that too, but saver's prices are lower. as with any thrift store, the merchandise varies. i have a pair of wear-them-all-the-time stretchy black pants (jeggings maybe?) that i bought for $2, and a tan leather purse that I bought for $20. i get compliments on it constantly. the label says it was made in italy, but i have no clue what it's actual value could be. in this situation, if you highly value it, then the value is high - just like that! read more

For a thrift store environment it is as good as it gets for me! In my opinion, I find more high quality fashionable items than Buffalo Exchange & Forever 21. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy shopping at F21, but I find more unique and high quality pieces at Savers. You do have to sift through the racks, but the prices and the options are well worth it. read more

The wife wanted to come here and I just came along for the ride. The place is huge for a thrift store. The place is well organized. The majority of the items being sold are clothes. Very few jewelry or electronics that I could see. Decent amount of kitchen and home decor stuff. One clerk was slow at the cash register, and another one had to come up. Didn't buy anything as I always think there is something wrong with the item, why else would someone give it up? read more

it's a thrift store. and a pretty good one to say the least. you won't find anything amazing here (most likely) but you'll find things that you wouldn't mind owning ([again] most likely) i feel like a huge hipster as i have gone to this store on more than one occasion. which leads me to my most memorable visit here: I print shirts for a hobby, and i am guessing that i am not that great at it because i found a shirt that i had made for my friend in this store once. half of me was sad, and half was laughing hysterically. read more

I always find something here and never leave empty handed.. can't pass up a bargain!! yeah Savers! I could spend hours at this place. While not as clean or organized as Goodwill Whittier, Savers has a bigger and sometimes better collection of 2nd hand goodies. I found some picture frames in there last time. Support thrift stores; buying second-hand clothing comes at no cost to the environment. read more

This store is so well organized everything is sorted out by dept. It's is nice and clean and is designed like a regular store. The only thing that I found wrong was the prices. The prices are too high on some stuff for itams to be donated it should be less. For the prices that some stuff was at I could get at a new store . read more

This is my favorite thrift store! I search high and low for good ones and they're all overpriced and junk. This store is organized so well and the baby clothes are amazing. They have them organized by size (unlike Goodwill that dumps them in a bin with used underwear). The women's shoe selection is weak (as in junk) but other than there are so many quality items here and they're thrift store price! Which is funny because you'd think most thrift stores would price low for used! Occasionally they have designer clothes they mark up higher than the actual retail price...but if you hunt, you'll realize they'll mark up a pair of Lucky jeans for $44 (that retail for that new on sale) and miss so many Hudson's and Joes jeans by marking them $7 (when those retail for $200)! This is one of my all-time favorite thrift stores! The employees are always casual and friendly, the store is HUGE and there are so many different areas to explore and search through!! I can easily kill two hours or more here. It's really places like this that keep me looking snazzy while on a budget. read more

This is one of well shoot, THEE BEST thrift store I've ever been to. I love Savers and visit just about ever week! Our budget was really low for back to school shopping last year so I took the kids there and they were amazed at all of the up to date items they found. And if you donate items you get a 20% discount for the same day purchase. I even found a St. John Knit suit in great condition! Savers is wonderful!!! read more

I really like this store for clothing. However I find that their home goods are very overpriced, considering they are donated items. They would likely sell a lot more if they lowered their prices by 10-20%. I went there yesterday with a 20% discount in hand and bought a few items. What I found odd, was that there was a 10% charge to my total at the end of the receipt. I am not sure what this charge is for. It does not say sales tax (which is less than 10%). So 1/2 of the savings I made, went right back to the store. A little confused. Does anyone know what this charge is for? read more

I'm a Saver's veteran. I've shopped at them all in every state. I was blown away by the prices here. I have shopped here over the years. But the prices were mind-blowing. Way way way TOO EXPENSIVE. EVERYTHING from infants to worn-out athletic pants $8.99. everything in the children's department was stained and completely unorganized. I used to like this location because it always had a decent selection and reasonable priced for Savers. I'll NEVER shop this location again! My favorite location is Fountain Valley or the one near Torrance. read more

Stopped by this Savers with my mom and aunts to do some epic thrift store shopping and we hit the jackpot here! I found an Armani blazer for work and some True Religion jeans (only $34) as well as a bunch of other cute dresses and tops. Although it's time consuming to go through all the clothes on the rack it's definitely worth the effort because you can find some legit stuff at ridiculously low prices. I also saved a bunch of money on books, if you buy 4 the 5th is free! I love Savers! read more

This place is pretty large and packed with very well organized clothes. I had no interest in the clothes but did in the home decor section which is pretty large too. I ended up finding a really nice candelabra for $6. read more

Fairly clean thrift store with a bunch of cute finds but some of the prices seemed kind of off. Everything is quite organized; bags are hung on racks just like clothes which makes sifting much easier and shoes are categorized into their appropriate sizes. However their 50% off of a specific tag color was slightly difficult to search for... With your purchase they give you a stamp card where, once filled, you'll get a 30% discount off your next purchase. Shopping carts and shopping baskets (complete with wheels and a handle like a wagon!) are plentiful and easy to find. Will definitely come back to this location. read more

I love THIFT stores, however, this one is hit and miss. I have been here a few times during my trips to LA for different reasons. I came here last year. I found a really cool tootsie roll shirt that was a medium size, however, left it at the hotel we were staying at which sucks. I did pick up a cool black used U2 pop mart shift = score. Best chain of thrift stores in the area. Super organized and about as clean as thrift store can be. They also have a great punch card system so that I am usually getting 30% off. They are super organized with all the clothes in the right sized sections. They also do a nice job turning over their inventory and getting new stuff out on the shelves. I love SAVERS! read more

The store itself seems to always be in a disastrous state when I come here. Although the selection of items is....alright (compared to Anaheim and lomita locations) I find it difficult to search because a lot of the items seem to be placed in the wrong section. The prices are a little steep for what it is and I've noticed that the more "vintage" items are marked up. Parking lot is huge and customer service is average. read more
