Honestly I've been a loyal costumer since about 5 years ago NOW I'm over this place I rather shop at old navy or tjmaxx etc instead of this place. WAY TO OVERPRICED. It's suppose to be a "THRIFT STORE" not anymore. Probably new management that took over or something but I'll give this place two years-4 till it starts not seeing much business anymore. A shirt for 4.99 I can go to forever 21 and get 1.99 for a tank and 3 dollars for a basic shirt save your time and just go look for a new thrift store to shop an actual thrift spot. Plus I just went once again trying to give this place a try and I'm just done with it, I seen a dress of forever 21 that was even on clearance at forever for 4 dollars it was 15 dollars here what a JOKE! Lol Store is pretty much well organized but that's about it. And I use to shop here for my girls I rather just go buy something new for the same price or even a couple of dollars more. I have been thrifting for about 3 years and I have found VINTAGE SHOPS with way better prices than Savers. The clothes are modern just used. I haven't seen anything "vintage" really. The most vintage items they have are bags and jewelry which are over priced. I would try the vintage stores in Uptown Whittier or Huntington Beach. read more

Amazing. In all honesty I prefer Savers to Ross. I found an awesome coat for 4 bucks! The color ticket of the day sale is something to keep an eye out for too. I've found Roxy, Forever 21, O'neil and my roomate even bought a Jack Johnson tee there once. You do have to look through everything, but it's organized so well that it's ok (type AND color). Every once and a while they have good jewelry too, but generally not as good of a deal as their clothes. read more

This place used to be better. My last few times here the store is disorganized and dirty. The bathroom is dirty and forget about getting a paper towel out of the there. I find the employees seem to be unhappy and others seem to act as if you're in their way while you shop. Used to come here weekly and sometimes to find a bargain. My last several time here, I have found nothing except a lot of stained, overpriced torn clothes. What used to be a good thing, has recently changed drastically. read more

I. LOVE. SAVERS. Seriously, this is the cleanest thrift store you're going to get. It is so organized and it doesn't smell (which is always a plus). I've been getting ready to study abroad in a country that has four distinct seasons so I've been stocking up on sweaters. They have the frumpiest sweaters. I LOVE IT. Definitely my cup of tea. I even got my mom to love this place who usually has a look of disdain when I tell her I'm going to a thrift store. Come on a day where you have tons of time to look around. Love this thrift store because it has a wide variety, is organized, items are usually in good to excellent condition, the store is reasonably clean. The prices can be a bit higher than your average thrift store but here are a few things to combat that: 1. donate something and get a 20% off coupon (it doesn't matter how much you donate and the coupon does not expire) 2. each day 1 or 2 color tags are 50% off 3. they have 50% off sale days and if you are a member and you sign up with your email address you can be notified of 50% off sales for Savers Club card members (like a few days before Veteran's Day they had a 50% off sale for club members and then there was another 50% off sale on Veteran's Day for the general public.) You cannot return items but you can bring things back that still have the tags on for an in store exchange. You will not get store credit, you have to go and find something to exchange at the time you bring back the unwanted item. I buy most of my kids' clothes here. I have found higher end brands (i.e. Janie and Jack, Pumpkin Patch, Naartjie, Gap, etc) but then again, I visit this store often. Any thrift store is going to be hit and miss. You have to go frequently, be patient and know what you are looking for. Happy thrifting! read more

First bit of advice: become a super saver club member. Second bit of advice: arrive early (15-20 minutes at least) to get in line before opening on the club member 50% off all items days - this is the only way you can get a shopping cart! Once they're out people are like hawks waiting for one to open up. This place has some great finds if you're willing to put some elbow grease into the search. Experienced thrifters know that not *every* visit will leave you with a treasure, but many will. Little girls clothing section is like 3 times bigger than the boys so know the selection for boy clothes isn't as big. Saver has wide selection of items for men and women, also house hold items which some of the kitchen items are over alittle over priced. Also the kitchen items are not discounted. But the store has good kids clothes clean and good brands, also large selection of books.. I always seen to find a great every time read more

My ALL TIME favorite place to shop for clothes. Everything is organized by type of clothing and the size, sometimes by color too. In addition, it's WONDERFUL that you can bring in your donations and get a discount of 20%, valid for that month you donate. During holidays, they do sales of about 50% off, it gets crazy. Make sure if you go during the holidays you grab a number for the dressing room before you start your shopping adventure, as the wait for the dressing room can get PRETTY long. read more

I really love this place, they give you a coupon for 20% off every time you donate. I can always find several items that I totally love. I used to go to Goodwill a lot, but not as much now since I found Savers. I went to their sale this last Monday for a holiday and the line waiting to get in was all the way down the sidewalk. The staff are usually really nice too. Sometimes I take pics of the items I find in the home decor area, and then post them on their Facebook page. I try to shop here as often as I can and find nice dresses I can wear to work. The only thing I didn't like was when they were holding onto a computer table in the back for a store employee to buy, who'd already found it. I was told that I could purchase it if I went back Tuesday. So I did, but could not buy it, as an employee was having it held for them. read more

bed bug alert!!!! savers thrift store is infested with bed bugs !! my girlfriend has been hospitalized twice for bed bug bites . she has had a extreme reaction to these bites. she had a seizure and at one point stopped breathing while in the hospital. the bugs came from couches that were bought from savers thrift store in la mirada ca. savers will not do anything about it we now have well above 10,000.00 in medical bills shelly requires 24 hour a day monitoring and has to get more test done next week at a specialist. orkin pest control has been out and found casings on the couches that were bought from that store and said they were breeding in that sofa for some time.. we have had to stay away from our home and hotel bills have taken all of our money . savers refuses to compensate us for our losses and they refuse to clean up their act. buyer beware this store is not safe and to top it off they do not care about public health or about their customers. read more

Went to see if i could find some planting pots. Found some thought: Great its Savers so I must be getting a great deal. WRONG!!! I found my self at home depot the next week. I found the same pot's for .79 I paid 1.99. at Savers. For the saucer it was worse .29 I paid 1.99 at Savers so I totally lost!! Plus mine were all marked up and tacky looking. I noticed so many items for sale that were over priced. Cups that sell 4 for .99 at the 99 cent store 1.99 each at Savers. SO even at one of there 1/2 off sales you still may not be getting such a great deal. Buyer beware here. Huge Thrift stores might not be so thrifty any more. There have to pay a lot of over head in them big stores and all them employees at $12.00 an hour.. they claim have to sell things for top dollar to pay minimum wage. read more

We got lost trying to find the place but it was well worth it. I'm a big girl and they had a lot of bigger sizes. I've been to different thrift stores and yes, some carry bigger girls clothes but they look like they are for older people. I'm definitely coming back. Do have one bad thing to say ... bought a pair of shoes. The sticker was placed on the inside of shoe and when I took it off it tore that part off. Either way, I'm going back to see what else I can find. We there for maybe 2 hours and still didn't get to really check every thing out. Going back for sure. read more

Couple of weeks ago found two pairs of Converse AllStars for $11.99 each, one is hightops! Then yesterday, found two more pairs for $6.99 and $7.99. My daughter's size....now she has a black, a red, a blue, and a tan pair for less then one pair at retail. I showed up today and the store was very busy as usual. I did my normal routine and ventured through the shirts and dresses and then shoes and to the check out. To my surprise there was only one checkout going and noticed a lack of employees on the floor. Luckily it was my favorite girl Linda that also goes by Melinda. My family used to love this location when they used to go a long time ago and I had recently gotten into thrifting so they recommend this place because of how clean it was as well. We all ended up going together to look around and possibly shop. For finding clothes there were only a few items I had found that was bummed to find out they been tears and holes in them. Other than that I found a couple of good items. On the other hand, the place was not clean. There were items on the floor that had not been picked up. It took absolutely forever to be able to get into the dressing rooms. And I saved the "best" for last...my cousin needed to go to the restroom so she had gone by herself. She came back really quickly and just looked disgusted so we asked what happened. She had said the walls and toilet seat were covered in someone's feces. Several people after her tried to go to the restrooms as well and all of them came out with a disgusted look on their faces. Someone ended up informing an employee about this and they went to go check and she came out with the same look as everyone else but didn't do anything about it. We didn't see a single person go in to clean it up or to even put a sign saying out of use so that no one else would have to encounter it. The employees also seem to be rather young and just weren't all that helpful or just not caring either about how the store looked or if it was clean. Like anyone else maybe they were just lazy and just wanted to get their checks already. Even though I had a few items I came out of there with I wouldn't really return because the environment was just terrible. read more

They have a very rude manager (old woman has glasses and her hair is always up) that gives everyone the stink eye. If she doesn't like you she'll definitely let you know with the way she looks at you. Just tonight I was shopping for my kids and I was by myself. I found a really cute mini series DVD from the old Nick Jr. I was really excited because the show meant a lot to me as a kid and I would have it to show to my kids. I go up to pay for my stuff and WHAT DO YOU KNOW? The movie was missing! That's nothing new because people are always stealing from the video game/ DVD section. So in its place there was a Namco 50th Anniversary video game for PS2. I actually have a PS2 and I have younger brothers who play it. So I asked if I would be able to buy the game anyways (This already looks really sketchy at this point and I was really embarrassed) so the employee who was helping me out asked the manager who had opened the case and found out that it was a PS2 game instead of the DVD. So in a very snippy manner she just said "No, first off it's not even in its case and it's a dollar difference" I responded with "that's fine miss I'm not really upset over an extra dollar" and the employee went ahead and rang it up anyways. The employee was very nice about the situation I even told him that I was really embarrassed and he said not to worry about it. That manager is just plain rude. She ALWAYS glares at me when I go in there and now it looks like I had given her another reason to hate me. The place itself usually has OKAY prices. Not that great they're starting to really go up in prices and it doesn't really matter how new or old something is the prices is usually more than it should be. I'm probably not going to step foot in there ever again because now I'll be known as someone who tried to loot at a thrift shop. T-T read more

Been going here since I was a kid. I always found lots of gems here. Prices are good depending on what you get. The sales are better.

They have a huge selection of clothes and it's some what clean. The problem I have is that they are way over priced. Who wants to pay $10 for a used shirt from H&M?? Not me!! I can find better prices on clothes at Ross, and they are brand new. It seems like they raise their prices all the time. :( read more

Probably the worst service I have ever had at a Savers. I went to drop something off and having been to this Savers before, I thought I knew where to go. Turns out, they changed the drop off location and had no signage to let me know. The result, as I stood there with my bag of stuff looking for an employee, was them coming out and falsely accusing me of stealing. Really Savers? Next time I'll just go to Goodwill where they're actually kind to the people who keep them in business. read more
