Finally stopped in after months if passing the balloons of the store…read more It's a small spot, very clean and organized. The owner is very pleasant and gladly answers questions. As is true of most thrift shops, you never know what there is to find. There are large selections of record albums, cds and DVDs. Not sure what kind of market there is for them these day. I took a quick look at the albums. One cover was stuck together and there was the pronounced smell of mildew overall. The back room is full of clothes. And in keeping with name of store, there are odds and ends all over. The owner told me business was good. So apparently there are buyers out there. I might stop back in someday, but this trip didn't really do much for me. I wish the owner the very best of luck.

So that's a plus. A tiny bit of men's clothes and a few random electronics and some decorative home items. If you are looking for the following , do NOT BOTHER TO COME HERE: comics, vinyl records, video games . Zero. None. This is a store that does not have a high turnover and donations seem low / slow. On the upside: the ladies that work here are sweet as can be and friendly. Not worth traveling here if you live more than 10 / 20 minutes away. LOOK for the sign they hang outside to see if they are "open", which is not very much.

A lot of it looks like curb finds , especially the soft goods .Unorganized, nothing priced, as for the clothing, the less said the better. But everyone is friendly . They have a good selection of books and records, and vintage furniture - if you can get to it. Don't attempt if you have mobility issues. Another reason why I love Mastic Beach.

Maybe I look shady, but it happens to me every time I go there. Also, the prices are all retail so you're not gonna get any bargains, but you will be able to get niche items that you don't really see. The staff here was less than helpful, less than friendly , less than knowledgeable and now sit "Floyd's Baber Shop" style with a round kitchen table in the middle of the store -- and you can hear all their takes on recent current events and the news . Oh wonderful ! I did buy a few OK / lower priced things here but I hope the dealers involved can get their act together and lower some of the stupid old fashioned prices on junk like Flintstones jelly glasses and old magazines that are collecting dust . (Crazy Prices of note: One average fashion magazine from the 1960s -- it was Vogue or something- was marked $75.00 . With tax my purchase was just over $20. The clothing was a little challenging to look through, as sizes seemed mixed together. They had brand new concert tees (P!nk, Post Malone, etc.), books, jewelry, belt buckles, vintage campaign posters, pocketbooks, engraved lighters, hardware, paintbrushes, shoes, etc. The gentleman near the register was friendly and helpful. I don't think they have air conditioning but the fan helped.
