There are actually 2 stores one for clothing and the other for household, vintage decor. As to the review which mentioned people coming in not speaking English and "buying all the 'good stuff" shame on you. They are BUYING the merchandise! It is not your business to wonder what they are doing with the items you mention. You could buy it too! The Thrift Shop is selling donated merchandise to raise money for the community after all. I walked in and the aroma was breathtaking! I asked what the scent was and it was "Winter Forest" by Cow Harbor Candle Co. I bought one little candle to take home to NV. Burning the candle at home, I just couldn't get enough. They were out of Winter Forest, so I ordered an assortment of different scents from the same maker. Unfortunately, when they arrived a few were broken. I spoke to the owner, Jacquelyn, and she immediately replaced the broken candles at no charge, no questions whatsoever. They texted me when more Winter Forest was available. I order more of those too. I think I've gotten about 8 candles and I have to say that these are the BEST SCENTED CANDLES I've EVER had the pleasure to enjoy! Highly recommend this shop, the customer service is fantastic, and I hope to visit Huntington and Wit & Whim again next year. Also, wow has Huntington grown (well of course, in 50 years!) While some things were reasonably priced, other items were laughably priced. For example, an average quality small living room arm chair with slightly faded and slightly dirty fabric was $167.00. You can buy a similar arm chair in Bob's brand new and fresh smelling for $199.00 All in all, if you're in the area it's worth visiting since donations come in every week and you never know what you might find.

No. Was it in very good condition, structurally sound, required a little Resolve or a little TLC - yes. These were quality used furniture that someone who has little or none or whose looking to personalize their furniture would buy. The driver was rude. Telling an 80+ year woman to remove a furniture cover. A pulled up a corner & said no. A chair that has always been covered. Neither I, my family, friends, coworker (current & past, shall know this organization is not a worthwhile Christian organization. Thankfully I have found a worthwhile organization who gives back to all & whose volunteers will gladly buff & spot clean furniture to give to someone who needs it.

Holiday House benefits young girls in need and offers sleep away camp on the property throughout the summer. Some of today's counselors were yesterday's campers! I bought an LL Bean down jacket a few years ago for just nine dollars. It was probably only a year or two old, in excellent condition and kept me toasty throughout the winter season. I wore it to death, I may add. There's something very rewarding about getting a bargain, but when you are helping a good cause by your purchase(s), how extra rewarding a shopping experience can be!
