I am so disappointed by the service and the quality of the Salon since they opened my first experience was excellent and Jolie who is one of the owners was kind and very hospitable now that they have gotten busy and two locations they have ignored my request multiple times when I have stated that I'm getting bad service. I was also due a pedicure because last time they did not cut my cuticles, however I still gave my business to them and not even a new client and they did the same thing to both of us, which is bad service, neglect, cuticles and not do a proper job. It was very embarrassing to take my friend there the salon was empty, and there was no reason for this kind of neglect. So I'm trying to find a nail salon to stick with consistently and this will not be it. I was disappointed to discover that my nail tech did not clean up under the nail. I don't get nail extensions done very often so I'm not sure what's standard but I asked my friends and they said this was a terrible job and that the tech should have cleaned up the glue underneath. I will say I have never had this issue before at other places and was surprised to find how it looked underneath. I didn't look until I left and now I'm mad I tipped. I'm giving 3 stars because I like how the color looked and how the nails turned out from the top. But underneath is crusty and gross. read more

Came here on a Friday afternoon 2 weeks ago. It was packed with young high school girls who were getting ready for spring break. Probably my fault for coming in at that time but it was full of excitement and loud. As for the nails. I've never been so disappointed with mine. I recently moved from out of state and have been looking for a good nail place. Maybe it was the fact that their typical nail staff was busy and I got someone who wasn't as good? The high school girls getting their nails done looked perfect. Mine were half done. Sloppy. She didn't even bother to cut my cuticles. She rushed me out of there so she can get to her next client. I hated my nails so much I wound up getting them done again at another place a few days later. I don't have the heart to say anything while I'm there. This is my fault. Was able to make an appt quickly and had a great, simple pedicure that took hardly any time but didn't feel rushed. I was welcomed to sit in the chair and dry (and read) for as long as I wished until I was ready to leave. Also worth noting, there was no strong chemical smell in the space, which makes for a much more enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back. read more

Best nail salon in the DMV--and I've tried dozens looking for my nail home. I've now had several mani/pedis here and they are consistently excellent. My nails were a hot mess and constantly breaking (which had never been an issue before) due to several poorly done dip and gel manis at other salons. When I first came to Savoir, the owner listened to my concerns and gently suggested I consider cutting them down and giving my nails a rest for a few weeks with a regular mani. It was the best suggestion! She found a shape that let my nails look clean and put together while they got stronger and healed. The vibe here is such a positive one and the space has consistently been impeccably clean. Consider upgrading the pedicure. I've had the basic and more lux pedicure here--and while the basic was great, the upgrade was worth it. And their manis last.
