Everything about this place is amazing! Let's start with the owners Cindy and her husband. They the nicest, most positive, happy people you'll ever meet. They will make you feel right at home, and will always give you freebies. You can't but leave this place with a huge smile on your face. Donut-AMAZING!!!! The most moist and fluffy donuts in the world. Every donut I've eaten has been my favorite. The blueberry is simply magical, a must try next time you visit. Crumb and chocolate glazed are simple but perfectly made. All the donuts are awesome and the croissants are worthy of all accolades and awards. I simply can't eat donuts anywhere else in the country, because they all fall short of these amazing people and donuts. Tip-get there early! They run out very quickly. Came in at 8AM on a Thursday and there were only 3 sheets of donuts left. Hmm, luckily one of the sheet was full of croissants...all fruit though. There was one Cream Cheese one left, so I took that. My first go at a cream cheese filling. It was very sweet. I'm partial to the savory ones, but this was fine. The quality of the croissant was impeccable leading me to believe that their ham and cheese would be great. My wife and I prefer more dough than just a donut covered in icing when it comes to donuts. These didn't disappoint, very fluffy and airy. They had the perfect balance of dough and icing for us. Savoy Donuts is most certainly a "don't judge a book by its cover" type of place. Hidden away in a crappy little mini-mall, Savoy doesn't look like much from the outside. Once inside, there's not much room, a few ice cream parlor type tables with fixed chairs and the order counter and display case. It's what's inside the display case that takes Savoy out of its mundane surroundings and vaults it into a higher level of donutery that most shops don't reach. And they don't go for all the frou-frou like some of those other donut places. These donuts are simple (even their 'fancies' are pretty simple), clean and so very delicious. You won't find slices of bacon or breakfast cereal on Savoy's donuts, it's just the basics here with some croissant variations thrown in for good measure. I don't know what it takes to make a great donut, but whatever it is, Savoy is using it cuz all they make are great donuts. This is also not one of those 24-hour shops, Savoy is up with the birds and done by early lunch (5:30 am - 12 pm). I usually get there just around closing time and by then their supply is dwindling, yet all still somehow fresh and delicious. If you're wanting a larger selection to choose from, get there early. The owner is always upbeat, at least all the times I have been there, and a friendly, hands-on owner is always good for business. You could sit down at one of the tables and eat there, but I'm guessing most people do what I do, take them home and share them with the people you love. DISCLAIMER: Sure, donuts are not healthy, they're deep-fried, filled with sugar and may even take a few days to digest (according to some folks), but some donuts are worth the risk, Savoy's definitely fall into this category. I love this place. They have awesome donuts .... if you wake up at 5am and start lining up at 9pm the day before to find any. It's so disappointing I never make it in time to find any donuts arriving at around 8am! I could understand about 10am running out already, but 8 am really? Last 3 times I've gone they are always out of stock trying to push the creme filled donuts on customers. Who makes creme filled donuts these days? Ugh. Called on Friday morning asking if they had Halloween theme donuts or donut holes and they let me know they had donuts coming out of the oven and could add theme sprinkles to them. They also asked what kind of icing I would like! They were so so nice and told me I called at the right time. They said that a lot of times they run out quickly in the morning so if I want something similar for a future holiday, to call even the day before. Just discovered this neighborhood donut shop. We now make it our Saturday ritual to get donuts from here rather than Peterson's. Savoy's donuts are really fluffy and soft and they're huge. We usually order chocolate glazed and regular glazed and they threw in a blueberry cake one the last time. All were delicious and reasonably priced. read more

This place is hard to find if you're going off of google or apple maps since it just drops you into the plaza and says "its around here, good luck." the shop is at the very end of the plaza facing valley parkway. Awesome Donut place! I showed up at 5:28am and it was dark. Two minutes later the cabinet holding all the donuts lit up. A man unlocked the door and let me in. Straight to the counter I went and immediately decided on the ham, jalapeno and cheese croissant, a chocolate buttermilk, and a strawberry cream cheese croissant. I had a sweet and savory craving that only pastries could satisfy. The croissants were still warm and flaky. The ham and cheese with jalapeno was one of the best I've had. Usually, I ask other places to warm it up because it's most likely been sitting but at this hour they were freshly baked. The strawberry cream cheese was just as good but in a sweet way. Savoy Doughnuts is truly wonderful. They have a wide selection of doughnuts from cakes to glazed. In my opinion their crown jewel is their buttermilks. I am a huge fan of Peterson's but this place trumps their buttermilks any day of the week. They are moist, sweet, and don't feel as heavy and rich as other buttermilks. My favorites would have to be the maple glazed but the regulars are also incredible! The owners work hard and it shows with their delicious doughnuts! They have good donuts here. I came mid-morning on a Saturday and they did not have a large selection of donuts. Reading some of the other reviews, I can understand why. Right off the bat, a woman greeted me with a chipper good morning and the biggest smile on her face at 7 a.m. I instantly smiled and she asked me what I would like. I then realized that the shop was a cash only place and I told her I don't have any cash on me especially during the pandemic. She said how back I come back and pay her. I was in disbelief. I have never had someone that I have NEVER met before trust me to do something like that. I told her no, it's ok you don't have to do that and she sure insisted. I got two dozens and I gave her my phone number for reassurance. She said I don't have to because she trusts me. Even before trying the donuts, I already knew that I wanted to tip her a billion dollars and write this review. When I opened the donuts, I realized she also gave an extra in each box! I would have to say, this is one of the best customer service experiences I have ever been happily a part of.
