It was loud enough that I could hear everything from the front counter, and it honestly gave me secondhand embarrassment. The employee was being embarrassed in front of everyone in the store, which made for a really uncomfortable atmosphere. Because of the confusion, I ended up ordering through their website instead. Unfortunately, the drink was disappointing. They added a huge scoop of strawberry syrup that completely overpowered the drink. I went there to try Matcha Maiko's matcha, not a cup full of strawberry syrup. On top of that, the syrup wasn't even mixed in properly, so l kept getting mouthfuls of syrup at the bottom I was really looking forward to trying this place, but between the uncomfortable experience in the store and the poorly made drink, it wasn't the experience I had hoped for.

Esco Gelato has some kind of pixie dust they use because the textures and flavors here are amazing, year after year. great selection of teas. very friendly staff. free parking around the storefront is usually easy peasy. great business. been coming here since the early 2000s.

They give you a decent amount for the size you ask for, so make Aira you know how much you're getting!! Not sure if it was the cravings of the day/heat but with it being a little shop and there only being a few seats it was hard to fully enjoy the experience in the corner. With so many people visiting (the pictures were taken right before the crowd) I'm sure that's an indicator of how good it is! From a value standpoint it's also pretty good. A small is more than enough for one person. It's a heaping scoop. Favorite flavors include: - Cotton Candy ( with real cotton candy pieces) - Lime The problem here is that the shop setup isn't as good as other La Michoacana stores in north county. Most of the flavors here are not identified, and several flavors were on their last legs. Tip - Alanatural is located in one of Escondido's shady strip malls. You know the drill here, no valuables in car, make sure your insurance is up to date, and put that 1990's "club" on your steering wheel.

I got the marble taro drink and my husband got wintermelon boba. They also have rolled ice cream which we haven't tried yet but you can't go wrong with ice cream as a dessert.
