Also have a wide variety of bottle/canned drinks to chose from (including milk, juice, soda, energy drinks). Donuts are fresh, service is great. Extremely disappointed to find the store closed when Google said they will be open till 6pm. It's 3.25pm and I have no donut in my belly. We drove all the way here for donuts. It's really unprofessional of businesses to advertise like this. They just lost a lot of business too as all four of us have a mad craving for donuts, we weren't going to share! I used to think donuts shops were a dime a dozen but boy was I wrong. Over the last few years I've been quite surprised to stumble across some not so great spots but this was NOT one of them. The gentleman and his wife who I'm pretty sure run the place were super friendly and very pleasing to talk with. I've been to many places where I feel like they are in a hurry to get your order and hurry you along, again not this place! The selection was huge and they even had delicious ham and cheese croissants. I'm telling you I would probably drive all the way from San Diego to come get another one of these things. The bread was soooo sweet and flaky and the cheese was oozing out and the touch of jalapeño was the cherry on top! I am sure glad I found this place thanks to yelp! The donut was perfectly moist while being slightly crispy on the outside. There was a generous amount of frosting with the delicious vanilla taste. I stop by regularly...the guy running the counter (probably the owner?) is always very friendly, says hi to my kids (and sometimes gives them an extra doughnut hole, so they love him!) and most importantly....some of the best doughnuts I've ever had! I've tested this on a number of people too...you normally assume all doughnuts are roughly the same, but there is something distinctly better about these every time. They are perfectly soft/moist on the inside, with a slight crisp on the outside that makes for a great texture unlike the generic doughnuts you can find at every other shop. Do bring cash though. They can run a debit card and give you cash back, but don't accept credit cards for smaller transactions, which i completely understand. read more
