We were just at a super expensive donut shop and it was awful. Thank goodness for Yum Yum. They always deliver. You can count on a great selection of wonderful, fresh donuts. We had not been to this one in some time, but we were in town and stopped. We bought the 14 for a dozen price knowing we would take home bunch. The place, as always was clean, parking so easy and the service is so nice and friendly. We just can never go wrong at Yum Yum. We also love their bagels. Now, we do ask when they were made because we want super fresh. They also have some great sandwiches. You can have an entire meal there. And the prices are just so reasonable. We just love it. Pleasantly surprised with how good the breakfast sandwiches were! Had the bacon, egg, and cheese on a garlic bagel - was still hot by the time I got home, good portion size and really tasty. Also got a blended Mocha drink and a few donuts. Only complaint was that I wish there was more filling in the raspberry filled donut, but everything else was great. As soon as I walked in I got in line and the Hispanic ladies working their immediately started giving me attitude and kept rolling their eyes at me while taking my order when all I was doing was asking what was inside one of their sandwiches. All of those employees were in there on a holiday working so hard as there were so many people there & they were extremely busy. I was amazed at how they were able to keep up in such a small space with so many orders. And they did it all with a smile on their face and were very kind and friendly! The donuts were very bland with very little flavor. Selection was OK they just weren't very good. The lemon filled and the custard filled donuts you had to really search for the filling. Less then a little dab in each donut. Very disappointing. The Maple bars were very much lacking. The only one that was even close to edible was the plain glazed donuts. They were OK. My wife and I came to his location to pick up breakfast on Sunday, Jan. 8, at 8 in the morning and experienced some of the worst customer service by the woman at the front. She had no name tag and only spoke Spanish to us, she flat out ignored my wife (who initially tried to order in English), forcing me to translate. She had a rude, condescending attitude, and her flashy fake nails didn't help her as she portrayed a demeanor that would be best suited for someone working in the back and not in charge of interacting with customers. This was my first time here mainly due to convenience of being on the way to my destination, but this review is for something I witnessed while there to buy my 2 donuts. There was a man with his child and father buying about a dozen donuts. The man took the box off the counter to pay and the box caved in and almost all of the donuts fell out onto the floor. He explained what had happened and asked the lady if he could get replacements and she straight up said "no." I'm not sure what has happened with the staff but they have been so rude lately and not only that but have tried to charge me extra items. ex. large for a small. If this was a one time thing I would let it pass, but no, now we have to find someplace else with better customer service. I had given up hope on this establishment until a young man by the name of Oscar started working there recently. the guy who worked there before had totally driven my wife and I away from that place. his lackluster service and total disregard for the customers and their wishes left my wife and I legit angry at times and bummed out most of not every time we went there he made us feel like it was our fault he had to work there and his attitude made us feel unwelcome and dissatisfied to say the least. That was until my paisano Oscar started working there. I just met him last night while picking up some donuts. we went there because Peterson's on 9th was closed. so we mustered up the courage to try yum yum again and we were completely floored by the new employees and their amazing service. they were ready to deliver on any request. everything on the menu was available, which wasn't the case with the previous employee. we ended up buying not only a dozen donuts but also a breakfast bagel and a ham and cheese croissant and some of their blended beverages which were all fresh and cooked to order as well as perfection. thank you so much Oscar you restored our love for yum yum donuts. it was my fathers favorite place to get donuts and since his passing going there was such a let down until you made it a tradition once again. my dad would have loved to go to this location. This place always has fresh donut holes. Very busy in the AM and at 2:30-3:30 pm when Heritage gets out of school. A lot of parents like to drop off their kids in the back of the parking lot but they always cause a traffic jam. I heard that the owner will tow cars that park in front of the shop even if they are buying donuts. I've seen the tow truck parked in the front too. Coffee is weak, but, can't beat the donut holes.
