EDIT: I apparently dealt with people from the shop connected to them and they didn't inform the tint person I was there. That's understandable. I upped a star for that. But i'm not gonna remove my review. The guy still held onto my car longer than needed when I was there waiting for it. Multiple staff walked by me, and saw me sitting there. People knew I was there. So it still doesn't make sense why I had to wait even longer, while my car was sitting there finished. People should know what they may be getting into-- whether the issue is fixed or not. Tint still came out good. Happy with that. So I had an appointment at 12:30. I got there early so I could sign any paperwork and get started by 12:30. I talk to one of the guys there and tell them i'm here for my appointment at 12:30 and ask where I should park since there wasn't any. So then I go back to my car, wait until my appointment time... at this point it's well past 12:30. I give them like 20 minutes and at this point they're almost 30 mins late to start my appointment. I ask one of the guys again... like hellooo can ya'll still tint my car today?? They finally grab someone for me. But it just seemed like I was bothering them. They were friendly enough but y'all are 30 mins late for the appointment and not an apology or anything? They finally take my car in about 1pm. I was told it'd take 2 hours. I was told they had a waiting room... but it was really just a fews chairs amongst boxes of things everywhere. I ended up walking around cause theres a shopping center across the street while i wait. I come back a little bit before 3pm... assuming my car would be done by then, since he said it'd take 2 hours. When I arrive I wait another 30-40 minutes. I finally get up to go peek at my car. It's sitting in their garage, fully finished, and all the staff is just chatting it up. Like do yall have no care that I don't wanna sit here all day? Finish the job and get me my car back! One of the guys sees me checking on my car, and he must tell the guy who tinted it that i'm waiting- cause he comes to have me pay within seconds. From the looks of it, he seems to have done a good job. But I would not come here again. I don't like my time being wasted. Start the appointment when it is scheduled to start. I was very hesitant to come here because of all the bad reviews on Yelp but I decided to give them a try and chance since I lived near by. They have a very competitive pricing and seem to be quite knowledgeable when I came to speak to them. After much debating inside head, I decided to leave my new Tesla Model Y to get cermanic tint. They also have lifetime warrenty on their labor so I figured how bad can it be? Jesus was the person that initially did the tint job and I was actually very impressed to see how clean and well done it was.... I was told to give it a few days to let the water and the film to dry and set. After a few days, the tint did dry and I noticed some dust specks in the rear window and one of the rear sliding windows. I called and spoke to Bryan and he just told me to come in the next day and he will take a look at it and fix it if needed. I came the next day and spoke to Bryan and he agreed to fix it without any hesitation . He fixed both windows on the spot while I waited. He also did an a great and clean job on the replacement tint. He was also very nice , helpful and courteous . He told me if I saw anymore imperfections after the film dried and cured, to just bring it back in and they have no problem fixing it until satisfactory. I don't write too many reviews but I felt I have to tell others that their previous bad reviews just dont seem to make any sense, and I would recommend their service to others... Update: - I was unhappy with the tints and was told to bring the car back to the shop so they could look at the bubbles and schedule an appointment to redo the tints, these pictures were taken right before I left for the shop - I got there and showed them the bubbles IN EVERY SINGLE WINDOW and was told there was nothing they can do because of dirt and they did not offer to redo the tints - I have no plans of returning to the shop regardless of lifetime warranty, this review is to show the quality of work that this shop does, and that they're fine with letting customers walk away with bad tints - Again, look at the pictures, this is exactly what I showed when I pulled up to the shop and they did not believe it needed to be redone read more

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER THEIR RESPONSE: It is very clear as to why this business only has 3.4 stars, I'm surprised it is even that high. I have seen plenty of cars that have ZERO bubbles or scratches on their tinted windows. The person who actually referred me to this place has zero imperfections on their tints and his car windows are even smaller than mine. I was also never told my car needed to be washed prior to the initial tinting appointment, I was only told it needed to be washed at the 2nd and 3rd appts. So lack of communication on your part there. I want a refund seeing that the redo tints came out even worse than the initial placement. I will not be returning to your shop. That shows what kind of business owner you are that you are more concerned about your reviews rather than trying to resolve the issue. I am not picky, it's called expecting good service and getting nothing more than a half assed job. AGAIN, as stated in the initial review I was never told what was replaced and fixed, there was ZERO communication and keys were just handed to me without a word. I never said I was "fine with the job and satisfied with the outcome." I know if I were to bring up the bubbles again, I would just be told that I would need to wait 2-3 weeks for the tints to fully cure so that's what I did, waited 2 weeks and of course the bubbles are still there. It's funny that after all this back and forth on this review, they went ahead and deleted all their previous responses. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Originally had gotten my car done May 18th to have ceramic tinting done. Thought the price was affordable and reasonable compared to other shops. When my car was done I saw bubbles on all windows and a scratch on one. I informed the guys and they said to allow 3 weeks to have the material fully set. A month later and bubbles/ scratch was still present they asked me to come in so I set an appt. I drove all the way from San Jose to their San Leandro location just to have them tell me they couldn't do anything about it that day and I have to come back again because there was a scheduling miscommunication between their guys. So then I scheduled another appt 2 weeks out just for them to cancel on me the day before, right after I had paid to get my car washed for preparation of my retints. They said there was some sort of emergency, which I understand happens. I had to schedule a third appt to have my windows fixed. The day of my appt comes and they said they weren't going to change all windows because some areas are difficult to remove the tiny bubbles and they would try to fix it. They said the small air bubbles over time will not get bigger like other cars do. I told them it was fine to not replace the tints as long as the bubbles were gone. 4.5 hrs later I get my car back and my keys were just given to me without being told what was replaced or fixed. I look at the windows and the scratch and bubbles are still there. Some windows were even WORSE than when I had initially taken it. Not to mention I opened my trunk and luckily I have all weather mats, because there was quite a bit of water pooling back there which got some of my stuff wet. It sucks that I was strongly recommended this place by someone who spoke highly of them but seems that their service has gone downhill since then. The person who recommended me had their car tints look amazing so I was more than willing to make the drive from San Jose to San Leandro. I think if someone is paying for a service then it should be done correctly, especially since the company are professionals in what they do. I regret taking it here and wish I could just get my money back. Would have never gone here had I known such a poor job was going to be done TWICE. read more

I took my mom's camry here to get tinted. I specifically asked for 70% in front and they honestly put tint close to 45%. You can't tell me any different I got my accord tinted and it's 35% and difference is subtle at best. My other car is 45% and it looks a lot like the 70% they claim to put on for my mom's camry. In addition I come into shop and smells like weed and drugs. (I actually saw the workers rolling blunts and smoking weed/ GOOD TRY explaining yourself). In addition they take the longest to tint out of majority of shop places I been to. That two hour window on description instead for me they said be ready in 5hrs??? Honestly they did an okay job, I've seen better, I don't appreciate the wrong tint% and my car smelling like drugs and the worker left his dirty towel in the car. I have eyes thank you very much and when I told worker he just denied it and proceeded to bs me. I advise yaw'll to find a different place. The bad reviews are not slander they are real honest people, stop trying to deny it. If you really care you'd try to resolve issue not comment slander, I'm here to HELP not fight. Be aware. Also I asked for a quote for first my friend's car and my new car here and both times they happen to not respond twice. He finally responds after my review only to act like a child. So I found this place through Groupon and thought I should give it a try to get mr car tinted. I made an appointment and was able to get what suits me then I got a text message regarding my appointment. So far so good right? Easy appointment and a notification through text... not bad... As soon as I get to this place I noticed EVERYONE was NOT wearing a mask!!! Then the lady (receptionist) told me that they called me to reschedule my appointment. So I argued that I never got a phone call from them and I even showed them my phone log that there was never a phone call from them. After discussing the issue with the boss man they were able to squeeze me in for car tint. They took my car in and I waited outside the parking lot to avoid getting exposure of COVID19 since none of them have a mask. After nearly 2 hours my two front windows are tinted. I should have done my research before I went to this place. The job on my windows were like its their first time. It was crappy and unprofessionally job. These guys don't have any clue what they are doing. The film are crooked and was not cut properly. There were a lot of bubbles that they say it will disappear after a couple of days. Well it has been a month and there are a lot of bubbles! Beside the bubbles and uneven line on my window tint they should really put a mask on and learn how social distancing!! Had to go back three times and they still couldn't get it right. Took my Infiniti in to get the windows tinted. After getting it back the first time (took them 6 hours to do the car) I noticed a lot of bubbles. I messaged them and sent pictures and they said to come back the following week.. the guy on the phone told me it looked like the bubbles just had to be pushed out but When I arrived the guy there told me he couldn't do it because he had to redo my rear window and passenger window so I had to reschedule for another day. I rescheduled and he redid one of my windows on the spot but then noticed how bad the job was done on all the windows so he said they all had to be redone. I dropped off the car the next week and was expecting to get it done fast since they messed up the first time and wasted my time already but no it took them 8 hours this time. When they pulled the car out there was a huge crease in the tint on my rear window. I pointed it out to them and they said if I wanted it fixed I could come back AGAIN. I told them I needed it done ASAP because I wasn't gonna waste any more time coming again. They tried to make me pick it up the following day and I told them either they needed to fix it right now or give me all my money back. They guy got drudged and said he was gonna pull all the tint off if I wanted my money back. Wow! What great customer service. They finally agreed to fix it and I got my car. There are still some bubbles on it today. Save your time and time and go somewhere else. These guys did a fantastic job on my 911. I got all windows and windshield done as well as Porsche decals. The ones i ordered from Porsche were poor quality so Chris made an exact copy and used high quality materials for a fraction of the price that I paid to Porsche. Take my advice dont even go there and get a quote. Brought my car in to get it backed out (3%). They did a horrible job on my rear windows because apparently they only do hand cuts but they left some 1/4 in gaps everywhere and regardless cuts weren't even straight. And lets talk about scratching and unsnapping the seals all around my rear window. Car was picked up all dirty wiht glue spots everywhere. Overall a really bad job. read more

I have had all 12 of my previous vehicles tinted by same guy. Since moving to bay area I had to find a new tint guy, And this tint job is by far the WORST. There are bubbles all over my back and side windows. They scratched my windows with a razor, leaving marks on the exterior. The dirt prints on the inside of the car from them installing the tint have yet to come out after getting them professionally cleaned. Can not believe this place is in business. I usually only write reviews when I really like a business. But this is one of those rare times when I have to speak up and let people know that a business is GARBAGE. Its one of those businesses that are focused on making a quick come up before they close up shop for good. The staffs quality of tint work looked like they just wanted to go home and call it quits. If your reading this, you've probably read through similar reviews saying their tints were crooked, chop cut on the edges, gapped on the edges, debris under the film which made clusters of bubbles. Both locations in SF and San Leandro don't care about anybody. They only see your money. $260 for all 7 windows on an SUV, with "lifetime warranty" just like an average spot would offer, but the quality is $50 at most. We only came here because they took over the original tint shop in SF where we always took our vehicles. Don't waste your money or time. Do a little more research as we should have.
