WOW. I knew I was going to lower it again to 1 star but I wasn't expecting this.... On top of the 'tude I got from the employee, the ridiculously high price tag, they managed to screw it more. FIRST, I get the confirmation from about my measurements and where it's going to be sent to. It clearly said LENOX MALL. But somehow they managed to send my tux to GWINNETT PLACE MALL. How far is that you ask?? 18 miles away. in traffic. for a shitty tux. I didnt have to drive there but the best man did and he was not happy. SECOND ACT OF IDIOCY: My shirt looked like they took a regular adult sized shirt and put on a little boy's shirt sleeves. Look at the picture posted. IDIOTS Other random shit that annoyed me. Their socks looked like they made them out of cheap cobweb thin lingerie material.....I wore some athletic socks instead. Half of the groomsmen had pants that were too long, shirts collars that were too small, etc etc. Their plastic shiny shoes made me want to amputate my feet. This place was awesome! My husband had a bad experience at another place and ended up with a tuxedo that did not fit the way he wanted. We called two days before the event and savvi was able to fit him and have a tuxedo ready for our event. The lady on the phone was very professional and helpful. The store manager was also Great. He was positive, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. They clearly know tuxedos very well at this place and you should be able to get exactly what you want. The best part is that you can try the tuxedo on before renting it to ensure that it fits well. We would definitely go back in the future. read more

I literally walked all of the mall trying to find this place, sweaty, frustrated and hot, I finally realized it is not really inside the mall, but on the outside. Located 'inside' Lenox Mall, Savvi Formalwear is one of two tuxedo places that offers rental and purchases. This place is better in my opinion than Afterhours Tuxedo, because I ended up saving $30.00 off my rental than I did last year when I went to Afterhours. The rental date is 2 days longer at Savvi which is cool, because who wants to return a tux, the day after the event (especially if you're nursing a hangover!) The guy working the store was really knowledgeable in his product which I appreciated, which made the process of finding a tuxedo in my price range, quite a simple task. Three stars only, because it is so hard to find. Word to the wise, it is on the sidewalk strip of Lenox, immediately off the Lenox parking ramp. read more

We had a great experience at Savvi - once we found it. It is a little difficult to locate because it's hidden under the parking deck near Macy's. Once we were in the door, everything went really smoothly. We didn't get there until after 6pm on a Wednesday, but we were able to pick up the tuxedo at 1pm the next day, and everything fit perfectly. They had a couple of modern, slim-fit options, which was exactly what we wanted. The store manager was fantastically helpful, and the rental cost was in line with other places that carried similar styles. We'd definitely use Savvi again. read more

I came here for a Tux rental fitting for a wedding in Jersey. While they could have tried to size me up for a similar style tux, the lady that fitted me was upfront about possibly not having the same style and color. I walked in with the exact specifications of what suit I wanted and I walked out with the right sizes and a recommendation to try and get the tux closer to the wedding location. I met with savvy salesperson Bria at a bridal show and she was very engaging. My fiancé and I went into the location and picked tuxedos for the groom and groomsmen. I began working with Terra regarding our toddlers tuxedo and she is amazing. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient through his fitting and meltdown. We also have groomsmen that live out of town and we will have a destination wedding, so I have been quite concerned about the tuxedos fitting properly. Tera has been very accommodating and has reassured me that everything will run smoothly. I appreciate her professionalism and assistance. She is an asset to me and the store. Update: the tuxedo for the groomsman out of state did not fit properly even though the fitting was done at an affiliate found on their website. I don't trust my groomsmen at all, so I made sure I was with all of them when they got fitted for their suits for my wedding. None of us live in Atlanta but we were on a road trip so we stopped in to get this all done. I don't know how it's going to turn out. They all fly in to LA next week and that will be the real test. The girl who fitted all of them was probably too attractive to be touching them in the places she was touching them. Considering we were all on the road for a few days at that point, I'm surprised they made it through the whole thing. If their slacks all have extra room in the crotch area, I won't hold it against her. There's a joke in there at the end but I'm just going to leave it alone for now. read more

I got married this past February and Savvi Formalwear at Lenox Square Mall did a great job providing a tux for me. I had a difficult situation. They had to make an exception for me and they did... Even though my groomsmen weren't getting anything at Savvi... The manager Damar got it done for me and made me a happy client. I would definitely recommend them. My clothes were ready on time and fit properly. The location can be slightly hard to find but it's actually a good spot for them. The entrance is outside the mall close to the parking deck so once you find them you can park very near the door on return trips. Business with them requires multiple trips so the location is a benefit... But just make sure to call ahead and ask where to park... read more

I do not want to say rude words but the amount of disinterest shown by the lady who attended us was beyond shocking. I will describe what happened. We wanted to buy a suit for my friend. Three piece or two piece. We made it clear upon entering that we want to "BUY" it, not "RENT" and we want to see the fittings of the suit. The lady does not get up from her seat. Just starts asking if we see anything we like. Is there a color theme, when is the wedding. We explain that we want something in shades of blue but right now the color does not matter. Just the fitting. She refuses to acknowledge what we are saying. Then after 5 minutes of us entering the store she gets up. Proceeds to fill up a form that we didn't ask to. Then forces us to choose something we like, when we do, she says, we don't have that in your size. Then she gives a random black suit for my friend to try, which of course does not fit. Then she says that it will be ready 3 weeks before the wedding which is in December (we are in September). We ask her why, and she says she can't rent out the suits so much in advance. We said our goodbyes and walked out. read more

June 14th of this year my son got married & the groomsmen ordered their tuxedos from Savvi Formalwear at Lenox. I'm not sure why the requirement is to be fitted six months before the date and not again until two days before. The lateness of the second fitting presented a grave problem for us. At this fitting two of the groomsmen needed alterations - one pants too short & the other jacket too tight. I can understand the latter, but not the pants being too short. The alterations would not be ready until the day of the wedding! Our venue was 1 1/2 hrs away, thankfully not further, or it would have been a disaster! My husband got up at the break of dawn on the day of the wedding to travel back to Atlanta to pick up tux's. A golf outing was planned that morning for the groomsmen & Dads, & my husband had to miss that event because of this problem. To add more stress to the wedding day, the Best Man's accessories (tie & pocket handkerchief) were a totally different color than the other groomsmen. Some people choose this to be the case, but we did not. The color clashed terribly with the wedding colors of the rest of the wedding party. We did not realize how badly this looked until we saw some of the photos. Wedding photos are a lasting memory of a milestone event in a married couple's lives. Not to mention you pay an astronomical fee for the photographer & videographer. The wedding was a beautiful affair, but with a little bit more attention to detail, these mistakes could have been avoided. Be wary of their advertising...."Stress Free Weddings for Out of Town Groomsmen" & "Sure Fit Guarantee - Your Tuxedo Fits or it's Free". This was not true in our case. Huge mistake to rent from Savvi. They absolutely ruined my son's wedding day creating so much STRESS about a tux! The following disasters should convince you that the quality is so cheap and skills to fit tux not worth your time, money, and effort. 1.Thread barren tuxes that have been worn way too many times. 2.Management that won't call you back. 3.Grooms thread barren pants way too short and split out at the reception. They obviously had been repaired before. 4. One groomsman had to give up his tux pants and wait 1.5 hours to get someone to go get him some different pants. 5. Shoes with duct tape 6. Some tux were resent without pants. 7. Sending prior measurements are a joke. People spent time visiting men's store to get measurements done and they still didn't fit. Spent the whole entire weekend running around Atlanta trying to fit tux that came back wrong the second time instead of enjoying Atlanta. Only two of twelve did not have a problems with their tux. Two did not make the trolley due to waiting on tux. They have no replacements on site and you have to come back next day for spare parts that still don't fit. If you don't want wedding day disaster headaches don't rent from these guys. Thanks Savvi. Never again. read more

It's surprising a place which provides such horrible customer experiences can stay in business. This place somehow manages to do that. I've rented tuxes from here on numerous occasions and never had a good experience. This last visit was the straw that broke the camels back and I will never return. Rented a tux for a friends black tie wedding. Sales associate measured me and for some reason insisted I should get a suit 2 sizes below my normal size. He orders it, I go in to pick it up, and its not even close to correct. I come in the next day to try on another one, same situation. They take the suit in the back to make some last minute alterations hours before the event. It took 3 different attempts to get the pants to fit. On top of that, there were tiny holes all around the pants from previous hems. It looked ridiculous but I had to go with it. This was also the most expensive tux rental they had. Just the pants and jacket were $170. They also gave me a discount when i paid for it but later said they weren't supposed to offer that discount so they retracted it and made me pay another $25+ upon pickup. Absurd. To make matters worse, no one was apologetic. This is apparently business as usual there. I took 3 trips there and waited almost 45 mins to an hour on the last one and still no reaction from the staff. Avoid this place at all costs. The quality of even their best tuxedos is sub par and their service and knowledge of fitting is horrendous. read more

Maybe I'm just a grumpy bride at this point in the planning process, but my two experiences thus far with Savvi have been nothing short of infuriating. We went here a few weeks ago as our first tux shopping experience (our wedding is in a few months). We stressed this point to the salesman multiple times - we were JUST LOOKING. Yet somehow my fiance still ended up getting measured and putting down a deposit - I've experienced less pressure buying a used car! The sales associate was helpful, but definitely pushy. Despite our reservations, we ended up deciding to stick with Savvi. We went again last night because we wanted to tweak the color. The sales associate was SO overbearing. We know the look we are going for, and it isn't the traditional groom-in-ivory-to-match-the-bride deal. So although I appreciate the input (not really), the 2 (or 3 or 4) comments about how the groom should be in ivory, dads in black, were really unnecessary. And annoying. And a waste of my time. Not to mention, Savvi will nickle and dime you to death. Don't be fooled by the base price of the tux, or the deals that they run. By the time they charge you for the accessories, and the shoes, and the non-hideous shirt (the only complimentary shirt is the one with the ruffles, ick), and the socks, and the pocket square, and the damage fee... you are looking at a hefty price tag. Unfortunately it is still far cheaper than purchasing a suit, so they have you over a barrel. Now you may be asking why I bothered to give them 2 stars. They have the best selection, period. We were looking for a charcoal gray tux as opposed to standard black, and they were the only store in town where we could find that. Not to mention, they have a huge selection of accessory colors to match any bridesmaid dress (ours are a deep deep purple, again, not the easiest to match). And there do seem to be some benefits - in-store alterations are possible, the stock is local, etc etc. So if you can deal with the hassle, it still might be the place to go. But be forewarned, you might end up paying a bit extra and it won't necessarily be the most fun or laid-back experience. read more

She kept huffing, would not speak to the mom, completely ignored anything I had to say, had no suggestions for things that would go with the dates dress, was truly uninterested in her job. Overall it was a good experience. I did however forget what a pain it is to get sorted for a rental tuxedo. It's three trips, first the sizing, then the pickup and last the returning of the tuxedo. It was odd, the girl who took my tuxedo back was surprised that I returned it the next day, even though it's clearly stated on the tag. I asked why so surprised? She said that most people don't return it the next day and take on a $25 a day late charge. Uh, no thank you. Backing up, my first visit the gentleman was helpful in fitting me, the tux was ready when I picked it up and it was easy to return it. So no complaints. Be warned, and I'm sure you've already read this, Savvi is not in the mall. It's in the lane by the parking desk (outside). My only gripe, and it's entirely my fault, I didn't ask what the rental would cost until I was rung up. I wasn't that concerned on having a Calvin Klein tuxedo, I just thought it looked nice. So I paid $181 to look nice. I'm told rentals start at $99 and go up from there. Again, it's my own fault, I should have asked for the entry level tuxedo. In the big picture, I guess this was as easy as it's going to get. read more

I had the best experience with Savvi Formalwear at Lenox. I just got married and had 5 groomsmen that came in from out of town. My tux was great, I was able to do a groom's preview and actually try everything on months in advance so I knew it would fit day of. My guys, weren't measured by the staff at Lenox and had some minor problems that were all fixed within minutes. My Brother in-law, little bit slack, didn't get in town until two hours before the ceremony. I called the store and they actually brought his tuxedo up to Chatuea Elan. Not only did they bring it up, but they stayed and made sure that it fit and didn't need any last minute alterations. When my Dad returned the Tuxes on Sunday, the store told him it was the owner that drove up there with the Tuxedo!!! Kudos to Savvi for going above and beyond for me......and my slack brother in-law. read more

My now husband and I used both the Kennesaw and the Lenox Mall location in order to best accommodate our in and out of town wedding party members with getting their tuxes. We initially found the perfect tux at this location thanks to the awesome staff walking us through the process and listening to our preferences. Overall, I can only say the best about both locations - the staff of Savvi is so helpful and professional! They were very willing to work around our crazy schedules and made the entire process pretty much seamless. In the crazy sea that is the wedding planning process, it was nice to not be worried about the tuxes, because they kept us updated at every turn. The return process was also very simple. Do not shop here if you can help it. The initial experience is fine but return policies are abysmal. I bought a tuxedo and shirt and wore it the first time on a cruise where I noticed the front pleats were unravelling. when I returned the item to Savvi, they would not accept a return. Their policy is: 1) you have only 7 days to make any return 2) you must make any return in the original, unopened package. I wanted to try the shirt on in the store when I bought it but was told not to. Now I see why. DON'T BUY ANYTHING HERE UNLESS IT IS ON SALE AND YOU TRY IT ON FIRST. THEY WILL SCREW YOU. read more

I didn't think tuxedos were a big deal until I stood up in a few of my friends' weddings over the past two years and had some surprisingly disappointing experiences from other tuxedo companies. Thankfully, Kristin at Savvi Formalwear in Lenox Square was awesome. She cared. She made us all look great. And we didn't have to jump through hoops to make it happen. I've had my fair share of bad tux rentals in my life. I've had everything from picking up a tux that would've fit Ralphie May, to the day of my wedding 10yrs ago my Dad went to put his shiny tux shoes on, and his foot went right through it. However, I truly had a great experience with Savvi at Lenox (next to The Forum Althetic Club). I wanted to surprise my wife on her birthday by taking her out to dinner with my 2 young boys under the age of 6, and all of us wearing tuxedos. However, for those of you with kids, you know they can't keep a secret. So, I had to find a place that would let me bring them in as close to the date as possible, then bribe them to secrecy. Enter Kristin, the manager at Savvi. I told her my dilemma, and she and her staff were FANTASTIC. They let me bring my sons in 2 days before the event, distracted them while she measured them, then let me come in the day of the dinner with two hours to spare and did final adjustments. Everything went off without a hitch and my wife was speechless. Some reviews have been negative, but I'd give them a shot, they were fantastic. I would definitely rent from them again. read more

Savvi Lenox was extremely helpful during the wedding process. My wife and I got married in September in Atlanta, and changed our minds about multiple parts of the tuxedo's (even up to a week before), and they were more than happy to accomodate the changes. There were a few issues with the pants being too long or short and a jacket size the wrong size, but Savvi actually fixed the pants on the spot and re-hemmed them and ordered a new jacked immediately. I chose Savvi at Lenox Square for my wedding tuxedos because of the fabulous job they did for my brother's wedding here in Atlanta four years ago. Once again they did not disappoint. Throughout this entire process, their entire staff has been incredibly easy to work with and very helpful. I cannot speak any more highly of their professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness, as well as their knowledge and expertise when it comes to formalwear for weddings. Going into the process I was pretty much clueless, but they guided me every step of the way. Dave Crowell is the specialist that worked directly with me over the past six months and he has been fantastic throughout the process. Dave was also the person who helped with my brother's wedding four years ago so I knew we were in good hands. We had an awesome experience with Dave! Treated us wonderfully from the time we walked in to the time we left. Here's the whole story. In the beginning, we went to a Men's Warehouse down the street and made an appointment after being called to do so. When we got there, we were told it didn't matter we had an appointment because it was a Saturday and to sign our name on the waiting list to be seen. What's the point of making an appointment!!?? When we finally were called they gave us a pen and paper and told us to the look at the pictures of tuxes that were taped on the table and write down the numbers we like. I was hoping to see the tuxes we would be renting, but they only had a few to look at. This was my first experience with this and I was very upset. My friend immediately called Savvi to see if we could come by without an appointment. We were told they would work us in. Here comes Dave to save the day!!! We were given one on one attention with him and he was very nice to my entire family and groom. Made this process very easy for us! Showed us the suits with the tie combinations because they had the suits there!!! Not on a picture like Men's Warehouse! The suits and the shoes looked better than the competition as well! I have NEVER been more upset with a company! Savvi Formalwear at Lenox Mall in Atlanta is terrible. The people at the store as well as the online system have messed up the measurements MULTIPLE times. Entered the incorrect information repeatedly even though it was typed up and given to them clearly. And I when I reached what I thought was my last nerve I went to cancel the order and they all refuse to give me back the deposit even though you all screwed up and I did nothing wrong. The corporate policy on refunds when the customer is NOT at fault is ridiculous and the local service is lacking in basic customer service. DO NOT RENT YOUR FORMALWEAR FROM SAVVI! Staff are not properly trained to take measurements and pieces of the tuxedo are missing when you pick them up. After all that is settled, I'm back to return the tuxes and I've been waiting outside the door for 40 minutes and they still haven't opened. I was glad they did because it made my fiance realize he needed to get this done....The staff were helpful and explained everything well. The store is alittle smaller than I thought it would be but overall it was a good experiance. We did get my Fiances free and all of his groomsman recieved the $25 off which pleased everyone.
