Cut us off really quick and walked away talking over their shoulder like we did not deserve being spoken to face to face saying you can come back tomorrow. I understand they closed 7 minutes before we got there. It's just a bit jarring to be blown off as a customer. Finishing a conversation face to face with someone who wants to support your business seems like the least a business can do when they have a lit up open sign and open doors. I don't think we'll be back, not a particularly welcoming vibe.

Upon arrival, I pulled into the lot and it was small (maybe 6-8 spots) but luckily it wasn't crowded. There were a number of racks outside with really good stuff (rain jackets, vests, jeans, shorts, overalls, etc). Then when I went inside, there were PILES of jeans stacked everywhere. The worker said there was probably over 7,000 pairs of jeans. I am so happy to have found this gem. Will definitely be coming back for my jeans fix!

They gladly accepted our bags that were full of books, toys, shoes, few shirts of mine and few pants of his, few old CDs, and DVDs . By the look of the store, it was nice, big and clean. Located after downtown Covina, Kaos Records is in a large strip mall with what on a regular day would be plenty of parking. Once inside I found a good medium sized record store that specializes in 80s new wave and punk. There's lot of posters, clothing and other memorabilia here. On a regular day I'd be digging through the bins for sure. The signing was handled really well. The boys of the Alain Whyte band were super friendly and personable, which was part of the problem. Everyone wanted to chat them up while us latecomers were sweating it up outside lol. But once inside all the heat was forgotten. All the employees were super cool and kept us updated every step of the way. 40 years in business so they're definitely doing something right.
