SCAM ARTISTS! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! Unless you want an appointment from HELL. I would NEVER recommend this place. What a nightmare. I never write reviews. But I am here today. Drove 2 hours from home because I was referred out by my insurance company due to an impacted wisdom tooth. I called 3X the day before my appointment to confirm they can treat me the same day. (Extraction) My appointment was at 12pm. I arrive at 11:50. I wait 2 hours to be called back. (I get called back FINALLY at 2pm) I'm told I need to take more X-rays of my top row of wisdom teeth. I made this emergency appointment for my bottom one, which is impacted and sideways causing extreme pain. They told me they can't treat the tooth that is causing me great pain because they weren't comfortable with pulling a tooth "so close to my nerve", and scared me half to death saying I could be half paralyzed if they tried. Long story longer, I left. I refuse to let them work on my mouth after CONNING me to this office. 2 HOURS AWAY. Thanks for nothing, Sawgrass Mills Dental The front desk girls are extremely incompetent. Not to mention conniving, and rude. After I told the dentist I was not interested in getting my top wisdom teeth pulled, I was left in the dentist room for 30 minutes. Wound up walking out without any type of prescription for my pain, because ironically the dentist took a lunch break and couldn't sign my prescription for an hour. I am mad I even have to give a single star!! The reviews you see with 5 stars are not real. I promise you that. was referred to this practice from my healthcare provider, Insurance company, and since they could see me the soonest, and since I had an abscess, I had no choice. This place was VERY VERY sketchy, low classed, nasty looking, dirty, but, I was desperate. I must have been nuts, especially with covid 19, this place has never been cleaned. I considered fleeing. I was desperate for sure, and it was a Friday, and my only other alternative was an ER. I should have chosen the ER! They charged me before I had a procedure done, even though I had checked with my insurance and they covered what they charged me for. The dentist came in for two seconds, never made eye contact, never introduced herself. Treated me like garbage. Joked about my age. Was disgraceful. They gave me an estimate for every tooth in my head which either needed root canal or fillings or pulling. I was traumatized. They grabbed my VISA before they even prescribed an antibiotic for my abscess, in anticipation of on next visit paying in advance. I had no choice at the moment, even though everything in me was telling me to flee. Then when I checked with my Insurance, they did an investigation and these CROOKS said they never charged me. I had a receipt and record of my VISA being charged from them. Then they started blowing off the Insurance investigtors, and even they admitted they are crooks. Now, I'm trying to get a refund, since I wouldn't go back there, even if I paid for a procedure that I will never get. I told my INsurance company to report them, and I beg anyone to not go there forANY reason. They are a THIRD WORLD kinda place which just is looking to charge you for things they aren't authorized for, and then lie lie lie. They are DESPICABLE CROOKS and FRAUDS. They then tried to charge me another 150 for xrays which were covered by my insurance. In short, please, don't put anyone you love in this position. 0 out of 10 Stars, would not recommend. The office is very unorganized and unprofessional. Paid for both a root canal and Crown January 2023. The root canal was poorly conducted. My filling came out in 3 days. The procedure was started and never finished. Went in to complete a crown and the office did not have my crown- it was lost/ misplaced. Was turned away because the Dentist who initially completed the procedure quit and no other hygienist wanted to complete it because "they didn't want to touch someone else's work". I completed a refund for the root canal and was referred else where. I have since had to extract the tooth entirely because it was growing infected from the whole that was left in my mouth. When I then requested a refund for the crown several times the Manager LEXI was very rude and unprofessional -hanging up on me twice and stated she "will get to it when she gets to it". Followed up again today and was told that they would be deducting a lab fee for the crown- FOR A PROCEDURE THAT WAS NEVER STARTED OR COMPLETED. I have been trying to get my refund for MONTHS and have been turned away. VERY POOR SERVICE. read more

This office is a fraud. I want to expose this place for future potential victims to be saved from what I've experienced. I went for a general cleaning as well as letting this young female dentist know that I have pain coming from my canine tooth. I only went here because my insurance covered this place. When I finally got My dental X-rays, I was told that I need a deep cleaning which ended up being over $600 out of pocket. I get my teeth cleaned EVERY year and told her I only missed 1 year of cleaning. Anyways, 10 anesthesia shots later in my gums and $600 poorer, I asked about the tooth sensitivity in my canine and she said my gums were just Enflamed. 1 day later my tooth cracked in half. I called to make a new appointment with these people and this dentist wanted to extract my tooth and put a "flipper" which is basically a denture as a solution. I'm 29 years old, and for her to make that assumption without even looking at my mouth again is completely careless. I went to another dentist afterwords and they said that could save my tooth with a root canal procedure. I'm sorry but you should be ashamed. Also, talking about what you are planning to do after work with the dental hygienist is not a recommended professional environment. Glad to know someone is getting a haircut later that day! Visited the office today and saw the Periodontist Dr. Rodriguez and I was very satisfied with my visit. The office was very clean and well maintained, staff was very helpful and professional, Office Manager Alexis explained my treatment plan and helped me understand what I needed as well of the importance of getting it done. Yes, no stars if that was an option for this dump and it's affiliate Broward Mall Dental. I started with Broward Mall from a referral. It started off okay for cleanings. And not long after given a crazy treatment plan that was suspect. They are always bouncing doctors either they completely or they are at Sawgrass Mall. And this how I got to Sawgrass Mall Dental. Long story short I had a root canal from hell. They broke my tooth and then problems with the crown broke my tooth even more resulting in a root extension. Oh did I add they was trying yo charge me all over because the Doctor switched to the Sawgrass location!!!! By the way I went through all that bull and I still loss the tooth and in the just started the implant process. Just a bunch of incompetent THEIFS. Close down already!!! Dr. George Green smells heavy like cigarettes and his teeth are decaying. He is NOT interested in your health but is all about trying to scam your insurance company into making as much money as possible. I have perfect teeth, never had a cavity and came in for a teeth cleaning. The "dentist" which is more of a salesman states my teeth are great and I don't need to clean them. What I do need is a deep teeth cleaning which is covered by my insurance but the cream they put on after isn't and is only $400.00 which I can pay cash. LOL. I got up and walked out. Horrible dental office...they are eager to get you in and then once your in the chair they tell you that everything is not covered by insurance when it is...they want cash or credit card right away. Called my insurance and everything that my husband and I needed extractions and cleanings and fillings are covered by our insurance. If I could give minus zero I would. Went for first appointment for a cleaning and exam. Was advised right away I may need a deep cleaning that is not covered in basic price. Once they checked I was told a regular cleaning was fine, which was a 10 minutes cleaning basically of just flossing. Went back for a filling but since the female dentist was not available on Saturday I was told that a different dentist will need me to have new xrays. Didn't make sense at all and I complaint, then finally had my filling done by a younger male dentist. Filling came off in a week. Scheduled a new appointment to fix it, once there they had me wait for 3 hours, I had to leave with nothing fixed. Waited to be able to get a new appointment(due to covid). At my appointment on 4/22 at 12:30 pm(my appt was at 11am) an older male dentist told me I needed a root canal without even looking at my mouth or xrays. He said I needed new xrays. I was in office 2 hrs waiting for new xrays because male technician didn't know how to use machine. Finally with xrays in hand. Which I have image to prove root canal is not needed, dentist said I needed more xrays. Male technician and dentist start yelling at each other and technician flipped out and left office. Dentist just sat there, I was unsure if he was drunk or high, when I said to just did filling and let me leave, he just said he can't do anything for me, he couldn't fix the filling that came off. In 4 months I had 4 sets of X-rays taken and none showed the need of root canal. Worse part is I don't want to go back there but have no money to find a new dentist. I cannot believe this place. I'm disputing the charges for the $90 filling so I can go to a new dentist to have it fixed since I still have a hole that needs to be fixed. Worse experience ever. It would be great for someone from this place reach out to me to explain why this happened to me and to maybe apologize and Refund the money for the filling but I doubt it will happen. read more

Who knows what else they are dishonest about. They refused to provide us with X-rays for the endodonist. Now my child has to be re-exposed to harmful x-rays. What a mistake! I guess they put a dentist office in the mall for easy access, but why you would place it in the same wing as the food court I'll never know! So far 2 appointments, and neither anywhere near the appointment time! More than 2 hours wait time!! Coming for a procedure that requires an X-ray, but their machine is broken! 8 phone calls back- and- forth, but no information ever given about co-pays, prep, after- care. Such terrible Customer Service! Had to ask for instrument replacement due to open sterilization bag!! Only option due to insurance or I would never have returned!! If I could give zero stars I would. My 5 year old son had an allergic reaction to the Novocain they used and was rushed to the hospital. The office did not care AT ALL and is refusing to release his medical files, stalling day after day. they also will not refund me money that I have already paid for services that My son did not receive. This is the WORST dental office you could visit. Rude staff, they don't answer to your questions and are very SLOW and disorganized, if you need something from them it takes forever. The dentist's assistants are really horrible and mediocre, the cleanings they perform are very bad and done in less than five minutes. The doctor made me feel very uncomfortable, and nervous about the procedure, I waited so long to be seen by the doctor I had to reschedule for another day. The X-ray tech didn't speak English, which made it very hard to comply with his request. I was told 2 totally different prices on 2 different days, for the same treatment plan. Today was the first day I went to this place for my daughter's first year Dental visit worst and biggest mistake of my life to come here! This is the dollar store version of a dental center. Run don't walk away from this place. My son was referred by our dentist to one that had previously worked here. We made an appt anyways. I asked where they were in the mall and said I normally park by Burlington. The lady said they were close. In fact they are on the entire opposite side of the mall. I had to speed through a crowded mall with 4 kids to get there. I finally made it. The appearance was dirty and cramped. The staff were very unfriendly. I signed in. Then I was asked for our insurance information. I gave them my son's insurance card (which they never gave back) and then we waited. Almost 50 minutes later I see them handing packets of paper to fill out. Which is typical of a new patient. So I go to the desk and ask if I should fill paper out. The receptionist "Carolyn" who is one of the rudest and most ignorant people I have met, gives me this look an in a condescending tone tells me it's for new patients. I remind her we are new patients, she attempts to argue with me only to realize we have no papers in our folder. So then as I am busy filling it out I now see people who came after us going in. So I ask if we when we are up. She then tells me they are waiting for my insurance to verify. One of the staff says the dr. Is about to leave. So I ask if I can just pay and get the money later from my insurance. Again they give me a condensing tone. At this point she takes my card and as she is charging me tells me it's $125, I ask what that is for and she says an examine and teeth cleaning. I told her we weren't there for that but a consultation about a possible cavity as a referral from my dentist. Then the second unnamed lady tells me that is only $30. At this point the incompetence is getting too much. I was waiting over an hour and now the only one left and they don't even know why I am there. I told her to refund me the money and just charge me the correct amount. Then they go in the back room for 10 minutes and Carolyn comes out with my receipt for the refund and then tells me the doctor won't see us. After we waited almost and hour and a half. Disgusting on every level. If that is how dysfunctional their office runs I would be scared to see the actual doctors. Health inspectors should go in there it looks dirty and gross. I usually don't write reviews. However, today I felt very compelled to make sure no one else experiences the horrible service that I was given. First, I had to wait over an hour to be seen for a basic annual cleaning. During my so called cleaning, I did not get a thorough dental clean due to the fact that there are no hygienist in the office. Only dentist assistants are present that can do minimal dental tasks. Therefore, the dental assistant can only do a baby clean which consist of the gritty toothpaste cleaning! I could have clearly done this at home with the tools I have!! He did not remove any plaque or tartar! I Waited two hours to get a baby clean!! This is not a real dentist office that consists of professionals and hygienists. Do Not waste your time or money to this Mickey Mouse dentist office. To make matters worse, they charged my insurance as if they did a cleaning!! I have had many professional Dental cleanings, and this is by far the worst customer service and professionalism I have ever experienced. Run for the hills! I was seen today January 10,2017.
