Taco shops all across San Diego either have salsa bars or don't make customers feel uncomfortable for asking for extra sauce. If there's a limit or additional charge policy, that's completely fine -- but it should be clearly posted beforehand instead of making comments toward customers after they order. The food is decent, but professionalism and customer service matter too. This experience definitely changed my opinion of the place. I attached photos for reference. The salsa cup they serve is the one next to the lighter, and as you can see, the portions are extremely small. That's the reason I asked for extra salsa in the first place. I also included a comparison photo from another taco shop in San Diego that has a full salsa bar and doesn't make customers feel uncomfortable or judged for wanting extra salsa.
