Made an appointment to do a repair to the rear tailgate on my Nissan Rogue. Arrived at the appointed time, no waiting, they took my car back immediately. Was quoted that the repair would take 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. Time quoted was 100% right on. To top it off they washed my car and cleaned windows before letting me know my car was ready. Our new vehicle popped about 60 error codes, the car wouldn't start, then the battery died. Everything came back normal for Nissan. Now I have an unreliable truck that I cannot use for outdoor activities or I risk being stranded in the desert or the mountains. Kinda sucks because Nissan expects this with all newer cars because there are more electrical systems using the battery. My Experience was very bad here. My wife and I were promised that a specific car would be held for us with the first option to buy it. We traveled 7 hours round trip, only to have the car sold out from under us while filling out the paperwork to buy it. The manager Kevin told us it would be held and no need for a deposit. Then while we were there in the process of buying it. Kevin told us he just talked to the owner Ron Sayer, and they decided another buyer with two trade ins could have it instead of us. If integrity and honesty mean anything to you, don't buy even a candy bar from this dealership. I am also a veteran and was wearing a shirt that showed how proud I am of that fact. I felt that every deal I made up until this last one was fair, that the people at the dealerships were honest with me, and that I walked away with a good vehicle for a good price. I will always regret purchasing from Ron Sayer and not just walking away when toyed with. Their sales manager at the time made statements that I would call lies, and their finance guy told me everything but what I would call the truth. IMO I was lied to and kicked around. Not a fan. Absolutely the worst car buying experience i have ever had. Not only do they charge astronomical prices for a warranty, but the warranty is basically useless. They go out of their way to ensure your work does not budge. Why? The warranty work for them doesn't pay anything. Melissa is my advisor who has hung up on me multiple times, has NEVER called me back. She needs to find a different occupation. Should be fired. My truck was pretty new, broke down in a hurry. I came in to find out more info about a car that's being serviced, because nobody would call me back, ultimately to be yelled and sweared at IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. When I asked to speak to the manager, he tried to kick me out of the store and didn't acknowledge anything the employee did. He also threatened to keep the car longer as punishment. The dealership replaced my brakes and rotors 7,000 miles ago for $700, and they're back to metal on metal. this should not happen so quickly with average driving. Either they sold me garbage brakes or they performed shoddy work, or both. When I called to see if they'd at least look at my brakes to see if something else is going on, they said they would for $100, and that they would not warranty their work. I cannot give this dealership even one star, but since I cannot post a review without one star here we are. I Purchased a used Subaru Impressa WRX for my son. Five weeks later after one payment the radiator ruptured on highway 20 toward Ashton. It was cracked. Scared my son to death. Shortly after spending 400 dollars to fix that, the horn began going off non-stop. Turns out the clock pin was bent and over time, long before we purchased it, it also shorted out the airbag assembly. Ron Sayer Nissan Idaho Falls sold me a car with no functioning airbags AND a potentially cracked radiator. They denied he radiator issue because they performed their 166 point inspection! They never told me what those points even were. I called for two weeks and nobody EVER returned my call. I even called the owner who NEVER returned my call. Finally, after two weeks, the general manager called me back. At this point I was livid. Overall I was given a "too bad you bought a used car and it's not our fault" explanation. Ron Sayer did nothing. I was told to bring it in and that they would look it over and that they would give me a deal on parts and labor. I took it in today and I was told they don't have the equipment to fix the problem. Something they should have known before I brought it in. So I got nothing. Nothing. Nothing. I guess I did get lip service to shit me up. This dealership is simply awful. I have been a Nissan customer for 30 years and this has been the worst dealership I have EVER worked with. They didn't even thank me for being a repeated Nissan customer. Do NOT buy vehicles here if you are looking for customer service. Also, don't get angry when they NEVER call you back. I needed a wheel key to unlock my tires so they could be rotated. Apparently the key can only be purchased with the car on site. The nice lady at the parts counter got down on the pavement and checked the key on my tires,one at a time, until we found the one I needed. She was so friendly and helpful read more

I went in with some friends and the customer service people would not help my friends but helped me. I never thought I would see this type of discrimination from there. Just because my friends were not white they were the ones with the money to buy a car. I was very angry that this happened right in front me. THEY DON'T RESERVE LOANER CARS. My mom and I had a day planned and we were reassured that getting a car for their "first come first serve policy" wouldn't be a problem. When we arrived, there were no cars but he reassured us that a car would be here within 30 minutes. Alas here we are waiting almost more than an hour and our technician 'Ozzie' really does not car. He gave a great smile right up until we started asking about our loan car and then everything changed. He started to talk above us and honestly made us feel very stupid. People just stand around here and really don't care about the customers in the waiting room. We ended up missing appointments for something that could of been a really special day for my mom and I. There should be some sort of compensation for the inconvenience or at least some sympathy and good customer service. On top of that, he didn't order the correct parts for a SAFTY RECALL. I wouldn't give these guys a single star. I made an appointment for a recall several weeks before. I explained that I was coming from a long way away and I didn't want to show up and not have the part. They said they would order one just for me. I woke up at 5 am to make it to my appointment on time. I got there 30 minutes early. They checked me in immediately. 45 minutes later, some guy comes up to me and says, " We're out of air bags, we'll order some more and try in a few days." I couldn't believe it, I asked if he was joking and he wasn't. He said, " They're first come first served." I told him how I had made the appointment and explained that I was coming from a long way away and didn't want to show up if they weren't going to have the part. I was told they would order one for me. This didn't phase him, so when I said I wouldn't be back, he acted relieved and said," ok, we won't order one for you." I was mad and went to leave, then asked for the manager, he gave me an arrogant smile and said,"That's me." I just left. I was so mad that was the only thing I could do. When I finally called the main manager and explained what had happened, he said he would have a talk with the service manager and make sure my name got put on an air bag when I decided to make another appointment. They didn't wash my car like they do with others that come in. They didn't offer a tank of gas for my troubles. I live 90 miles from Ron Sayer Nissan, and if my memory is correct, they charge you for a missed or last minute cancellation. When anyone from the valley I live in has to go to Idaho Falls, their whole day is shot. They didn't offer me any compensation. Only the promise that if I wanted to make another appointment that They would make sure it was done. read more

I will not recommend this dealership, or their sales manager Kevin, I came into this dealership with a preapproval from my bank and was lied to that they wouldn't be able to use that and if they did they would have to add a couple thousand onto the sticker price. This is in fact a lie, also when I purchased my 22 Nissan Sentra they told me that it had Nissan connect this is why I chose this model over initially a cheaper model because that feature was important to me as my last car was stolen. Come to find out four days later that I did not actually have this so I went to the dealership and I just wanted to return the car. They would not do this they said that they would not unless I purchased another car, so I ended up buying a car that was twice as expensive and again I was told that I would not be able to use my preapproved financing. Even though I was able to get a cheaper rate through my bank, what really pissed me off was me finding out today that it was complete lies from Kevin that they could have in fact used my bank to finance the car and that adding a couple thousand is not how they should've done business. This came from another dealership in the Smith auto group. read more

I have been getting service done here for 5 years. All went well until about 6 months ago and they changed service writers. I have always gotten conventional oil and she, without, asking upped me to synthetic a doubling in price. Now I have to specify conventional oil. On top of that the last time I came in they gave me a flyer announcing that they were now an express service no appointment needed, 30 minutes done. Another joke I went in with no appointment and was told they don't have the staff to do express service. read more

Took my Titan in for service work and was very pleased. Everything was completed in a timely manner and they went over the inspection sheet with me when I was checking out. Always a big plus to jump into a washed and vacuumed truck. I will be making the trip again when I need service work. read more

I have been having transmission issues with my 2016 Altima. I recently received a letter from Nissan that my car was covered for extended warranty for the transmission. I had taken my car to Ron Sayer approximately a month or two ago for service and heard nothing of these transmission issues that appear to have been known from a class action lawsuit resolved in December 2019. I then took my car in today for the transmission work and they tell me they do not provide courtesy cars for such work which takes approximately a week. Due to my living in Idaho Falls, I had been taking my car to Ron Sayer but before my living in IF, I had taken my car to Pocatello. Pocatello had by far better customer service (they also sell more cars than RS); however, I had opted to stay in town for service with my living in IF. I even spoke to the manager, Matt, at Ron Sayer and he just said he was told they did not have courtesy cars for such work. I am now going back to Pocatello for services where they provide courtesy cars and better customer service. I suggest Nissan drivers buy their cars from Pocatello Nissan instead of Ron Sayer. read more

The first visit and last visit at Ron Sayer Nissan, I had to call everyday to get an update. Only to find out two weeks later the part I needed is no longer available. Then to top it off when we picked up my pickup they made my wife walk to the back lot to retrieve it. Again I will not trust Ron Sayers Automotive Group for nothing in this world. I went in on a Saturday to get my oil changed and tires rotated. There was a man there being trained. He and the other man mentoring him did a great job. I was really happy. I have a contract with Nissan so my services should have been free and they didn't catch it but when I asked about why there was a charge and told them I had a contract they fixed it right away. I heard the one man telling the trainee that sometimes the contract won't show up on the screen and told him how to find it. So it was a simple misunderstanding that was fixed quickly and I left feeling happy. They also made sure I felt comfortable and told me where the water was if I wanted to refill my water bottle while I waited. I'm also in my early 20s so sometimes when I go to places like this I get treated poorly because people will assume that younger customers don't know what they're doing but I didn't feel that way at all. They treated me like an adult and I really appreciated it. read more

I would not recommend using at all. Very poor customer service. I called and spoke with 2 salesman on a vehicle both gave the same price out the door for the vehicle. I live out of state so I gave credit card information for a deposit to hold the vehicle and requested in writing what we had agreed on for price. When I received the in writing purchase it was $500 more. When I spoke to the salesman he said that was for the doc fees however I reminded him that was not the out the door price that he and the other salesman originally quoted me over the phone. He proceeded to tell me it was just $500 more so it's not a big deal. I would not do any business with this dealership and if you do make sure you get it in writing because their words have no value. read more

BEWARE!!! Horrible MANAGEMENT.....Service Department and Customer Service!!! What has happened to Ron Sayer Nissan Service Department?! We have gone to Ron Sayer Nissan & Dodge for many, many, years. When Justin was over the Service Department you could Trust that Everything would be taken care of. As soon as he left we started having problems. We had our Truck Serviced soon after Justin left. The new guy did something to the engine. He also "overfilled" with oil! All of a sudden a Sensor went out, and a bunch of other problems started happening! They had lost all our Confidence and Trust! We soon found another "reputable" Auto Shop. Last Summer/Fall, I had a Service scheduled at the new place we go. My husband forgot, and went to Ron Sayer because we had gone there for so many years.....it was just habit. My husband is 83 years old. Ron Sayer went ahead and did the Service even though he didn't have an appointment. That was nice of them.....probably because they don't have much business anymore and they weren't busy!!! My husband asked if they could do the Oil Change/Service and just check out a small situation to see what was wrong. They Never told him they would charge to do that or he would Never have had them check it. They Never had him sign anything that they would charge him for doing that. When he went back to pick up the Truck, they had tacked on a $50 charge just to check that little situation out!!! It didn't take him 10 minutes!!! We was Shocked they would throw in that charge....especially, for us being Long Time Customers, and, not even telling us before hand they would charge him! We were NOT Happy! We argued with the Service Department guy. He was Rude...Rude...Rude! They would not take the Charge off. So, we had No Choice but to file a Dispute Claim with our Credit Card Company. I had tried to call the Manager like 4, or more times. He Refused to return my calls. He always had some excuse to not talk with me. Finally, I was able to talk with him. He was just as Rude as the rest...even Worse! I explained the situation, and that we have been Long time Customers of theirs. I told him that they took advantage of an elderly man. They Did Not tell him there would be a charge to check out that little situation. He didn't care, and was just Horrible! I filed the Dispute Claim. Our Credit Card Company is fantastic! Even though, Ron Sayer Disputed my Claim, and they got paid for doing absolutely NOTHING! Our Bank still gave us the $50 Credit just because of the situation, and we are such great customers. I would Never do business with Ron Nissan & Dodge again.... I Don't Think They Can Be Trusted and Poor Customer Service! A few years before this situation we had to take our Truck to Ron Sayer "Dodge" for a Recall Service. After they took care of the Recall/Part that needed to be changed, they took it upon themselves to do a Check on our Truck. They told us we needed a bunch of work on it to the tune of like $1500!!! I took the truck in for our next Service to Justin at Ron Sayer Nissan (while he was still there.) I didn't tell him what Ron Sayer Dodge had said that we needed $1500 of work done. I just asked him to please check out those areas. He didn't charge us either! I just wanted to see what Justin would tell us. Justin said the Truck was just fine and nothing needed to be done. SEE!!! You can't Trust Them!!! Dodge would have Ripped us off of $1500 when Nothing was Wrong!!! Justin was the Best Service Manager Ron Sayer Ever Had!!! When they lost him....They Lost A Great Employee! Needed my car towed here after the rear differential went out on Christmas Eve. Service team couldn't tell me the price of the tow and told me to call the tow company and set it all up. I called them and got a truck out there. They said they charged $65 which it would be included in our bill at Nissan. When I go to pick up the car after it was repaired, Nissan charged me over $117! When I asked them about this they said, "We have to up-charge anything that comes through us". Are you kidding me?! They literally provided no value to me at all in this manner. I called the tow company and organized the pick up. Nissan didn't do anything and they will still charge you over $50. I wouldn't trust these guys for anything they charge. Such a poor experience. I'd rather go to a third party vendor from now on then Ron Sayer Nissan. Check your bills and make sure they are charging you honestly, because based on my experience they aren't. read more

Terrible dealership. I bought a Chevy Traverse for my wife and wanted to add a hitch on. I told them I wanted factory parts and they said ok but I would have to wait a couple weeks while they ordered them since they were not a chevy dealer. 2 weeks later they called and asked me to drop off my car. A few days later I got a call saying it was done. Went to get it and it wasn't done. waited a few more days and got a call from uhaul saying my car was ready. Went to pick it up at uhaul and the dealer hadn't payed for it. Went to the dealer to get a check and give them a little talking to about having uhaul do it (they splice the wires instead of buying the factory harness so my factor trailer break hook up won't work). Realized they charged my $400 and uhaul was only $210. So I tried to get my money back and just pay uhaul myself but they wouldn't do it. They claimed uhaul gives them a good deal so they can make money. Took the check to uhaul and talked to the guy and he said its there normal price. All in all I am very unhappy with how dishonest they are and that they can't work with there customers to make things right. I will never buy another car from them. read more
