Came here for the 2nd time on a cold winter day. Parking was much easier to find than the first time, a hot summer day, and the weather is important to note. The restaurant is nicely decorated and laid out nicely with a small bar as you enter. However the place definitely retains the heat in the summer, I.e. it's hot, and the cold in the winter. People were wearing jackets and hats. The owner did recognize this and put out some space heaters to help with heating the space. Now for the important part, the food is worth it! I started with the Ceviche Mixto, one of the best I've had anywhere! Great spice and mix of fish and shrimp! HUGE portion so it's definitely a shareable appetizer. My main meal with Chaufa de Mariscos. This is mountain of rice if and seafood; shrimp, mussels, calamari. Another delicious well seasoned dish with more than enough to share and take some home! Another table had ordered the Caldera de Mariscos which was enormous and looked delicious. We were given a sample of the broth, OMG! On the list for my next visit! Overall the place is well run with the service being great and the food being served in large portions, even leftover it's great.

Gosh the food here is definitely sooooo good. Don't even think about it, just show up and enjoy watever they bring to your table. Service is upstanding, and the food is on point! Only thing is, I wish they would dim the lights for dinner to create more of an ambiance. You got the drinks, the food, the music, only thing missing... Ambiance. Dim the lights at night!

I grew up in Jackson Heights, NY with pretty authentic Peruvian food. Moving to Lawrence was wonderful but I missed all the different kinds of foods I had just down the block of my home in Jackson Heights. I was a little skeptical before my first time here because most New Yorkers are. I had a ceviche de camarón and lomo salteado. Both brought me right back to Queens. So happy this restaurant delivers every single time whether we eat in or take out. The lomo and the arroz chaufa are my favorites. Eat all the maíz tostado you can. You won't regret it. Today I stopped in to get lunch to go and was offered a complimentary drink- DELICIOUS. It's pisco mixed with pineapple juice infused with basil and lemongrass.

Stopped in for lunch using a special offer from Nift. A gentleman seated us and welcomed us with menus. Appears to be only one menu for both lunch and dinner. When he returned to offer drinks, we opted for ice water we asked him for recommendations as neither my friend nor I are well versed in Peruvian cuisine. He asked if we had a particular food in mind and my friend said beef and for me, seafood. He recommended the lomo Saltado for her and the arroz con camaron for me. As we waited for our meals, he brought over a complimentary appetizer of toasted corn with some mild cheese crumbles. The corn was a bit dry and I think an acquired taste. It didn't take long for the entrees to arrive. My friend received hers about 5 minutes before mine arrived so I picked at hers awaiting mine. The beef was a little over cooked and not of high quality beef, sauce was predominantly a soy taste, the large slightly cooked fresh tomato slices were refreshing and the red onions a nice contrast. My friend enjoyed the consistency of the rice but we weren't fond of having the fries covered in the sauce which made them mushy. Would have preferred the fries on hen side. I was happy with my arroz. There was a good amount of calamari, shrimp and mussels all cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the mushy rice and red sauce. The side slaw/salsa was very vinegary and I felt it didn't compliment the taste of the seafood and rice. The waters were Kirkland brand water bottles brought to the table along with a glass of ice at $2 each. Tap would have been fine. Friendly and welcoming service so a 4 for that. Pricey for lunch so a 3 and a 3.5 for the food. Nicely decorated and clean. We would consider returning to try other selections maybe for dinner.

Authentic, delicious and beautiful Peruvian food. Seafood was extremely fresh and spices well balanced. The owner was really warm and helpful. He helped us pick dishes and had a real passion for his cuisine. Highly recommend!

So we tried this spot after reading the reviews. Food was good. I had the rice with seafood and Peruvian ceviche which was delish. The sauce you could drink on it's own lol. No wait last Friday which was nice but it go busy while we waited for our food. My husband tried had beef which was tender with rice and white beans which were different and tasty. We want to go back to try other things on the menu. They have a bar but had no coffee or dessert yet. The waitress said it's coming soon as they have only opened for several weeks. Street parking and only open Thursday to Sunday

We were so happy to stumble upon this new gem while visiting Lawrence. The restaurant has a very clean and modern design. The service staff was so friendly and sweet. Although the menus are only in Spanish, she was so enthusiastic about helping us make a selection that fit our cravings. My cousin's dish (steak sautéed with onions) was delicious! The steak was well seasoned. I had the bistec (skirt steak) with fried egg on top which lacked in salt, but I still enjoyed it and left satisfied. I would return to try the other items on the menu...but I'm hoping they can create a lunch menu that is easier on the pockets. Spending $50 for 2 at lunch just felt a little steep. Definitely check this out for dinner...it's a family and kid-friendly place with a warm and welcoming vibe. I love the service!

French inspired drinks and food were fantastic and interesting. The French 75 menu was so interesting-- choose your flavor and your bubbles. I tried two, the classic with rosé was so pretty, and the honey lavender with base level champagne was delicious. The raw oysters were to die for! Perfect little pop of acidity with other flavors delicately added and perfectly balanced. The oysters Rockefeller were also perfectly delicious. The foie gras is not something I would normally eat, but my boyfriend loves that stuff so we went with it. I enjoyed it more than he did. It was not a classic foie gras, it was smoother with a creamier texture and more buttery flavor. Eating it with the fig jam and "light as clouds" toast made it absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every minute and mouthful--would definitely seek this place out again even though I live an hour away! We enjoyed ourselves too much to take pictures!

Service is fantastic - you enter from the patio side (steps up front and ramp along back of the patio). These guys are well and professionally staffed and we've always been met and seated quickly. All of our servers have been knowledgeable and helpful in making selections. They have regular tables, high tops, bar seating and outdoor tables. There are dedicated water bowls for anyone who brings a pup (outdoors only) and the dogs I've seen have been well behaved and adorable. We've never brought our dog, but he's still greeted and admired by staff as we pass by on a walk. That really says all you need to know about the wonderful people. Parking is in the lot right out front surrounding the small High Street courtyard or on the street. The dining patio overlooks that same courtyard. All in all a great combination of good food and a nice but casual atmosphere.

One would feel like Nona's tired or Nona doesn't want to feed you or Nona doesn't want to have anything to do with you. Obviously, that's not what ANY good Nonas ever do since they want you to have the very best. So one may ask what's truly going on? Is it the same issue with other cuisines where the food quality is not properly preserved or because there is no standard to uphold anymore? It reminds me of someone who once said to me that those who care deeply about any cuisine have moved on to NYC and other food-centric areas. All that's left are those who send out food to customers who either don't know or don't care. Perhaps, there is some thinly veiled truth to this statement. I've been acquainted with Chef Nimesh for a few years and know his deep passion for Italian food. In prior locations where he was based, there were always limitations to how much he was allowed to express his art and understanding of the cuisine. So while he was throttled over there, here in Andover after taking over a dying business, I'm able to witness just how good his expression of Italian food is. Every dish I ordered tonight were things I knew he was particularly passionate about. Yes, the whole menu is well designed...but I'm talking about things I knew he would choose to serve in particular until the world ends. Signature dishes on his take of Italian cuisine. I loved every bite. I truly savored and enjoyed it. So much so that I'm willing to just make the drive up to Andover just for a meal any given day. Mind you, the place is well designed, clean, and upscale. You can thank his business partner, FOH extraordinaire for bringing that side to life. The staff working here are great and the wine selection is immaculate. You will definitely enjoy your visit here. Absolutely recommend this spot for anyone wanting a great and non-pretentious Italian food experience!
