You really can feel an instant connection to the atmosphere and employees. Moving on to the food, I was thoroughly impressed. Having a culinary background, I was honestly impressed with the food quality. We had a few different appetizers to include the potatoes skins and Buffalo chicken. The flavor, texture, and quality were great to include being fast on delivery. Lastly, a shout out to the staff and owners! We will be back! And thank you Marco for arguably the best made drinks on main street in Nashua!

However, the Tapas…read moreitems are all what I would call traditional appetizer options, no mains geared toward tasting. Also, the main that I ordered, Mar y Tierra, surf and turf, had the flattest segment of flank steak I've ever eaten. It was more like a paper thin steak you would use to make a steak sandwich. The shrimp were done nicely, and the white rice was very good. It was certainly not worth $28. And lastly, though I cannot accuse them, it was very coincidental that I pad with credit card, and the very next day my cc number and info was used to order flights and airline tickets and hotels at Agoda.com, Priceline, United Airlines, etc., to the tune of almost $1K. Luckily I have alerts set up on my card and was able to report the fraud quickly. If going here, I would say pay with cash.

Come Mother's Day and I am not a fan of going out on the actual day, but I did remember this place. We made a Saturday reservation, picked up my son from work, and headed over here. SO WORTH IT! I thought the spot was adorable and clearly well loved by locals and their own staff. You really get the feeling that all that work there really love the place. I like the menu items are not the "usual suspects" I see at most Tapas places, which are good but sometimes you want to shake things up. We got: Bolas de queso Patatas Aioli Croquetas De Jamon Croquetas De Verduras Solomillo De Ternera y Queso Cabrales Calamares Fritos Tabla de Quesos Pisto Manchego Albondigas De Cordero Iberico Peras Borrachas Torta De Chocolate All the menu items were flavorful and enjoyable. I think my favorite was the Croquetas De Jamon, if I had to choose just one item. We also decided to get two desserts - a pear dessert which seems to be their signature dish and the chocolate tort. While the pear was lovely, I was really in the mood for something chocolate so I enjoyed it more (but honestly cannot go wrong with either).

The MOST welcoming and friendly staff that treats you like family as soon as you walk in. I enjoyed my staples for the night: Jamón Iberico, garlic Chicken; pollo al ajillo (a must), and a red sangria. The jamón is freshly cut to order with a nice drizzle of pure olive oil over top. The sangria is so refreshing with fresh fruit tasting like they just picked it themselves. The lovely bartender, Astrit, informed me the grapes are Grenache from Spain , which have a dryer, robust flavor compared to the sweeter red sangrias that make you regret your decisions the next morning and tastes better in my opinion. I'm usually more of a beer guy but this slaps! I've also had the white before and that also hits the Richter scale. Last but surely not least, the garlic chicken (pollo al Ajillo) is the best chicken I've ever had, hand to God. Spiced with everything nice and delicious oil and garlic that you deserve. Even on a first date, you'll be kissed after giving this to your significant other. This fine establishment is one of my favorites and I always am satisfied, leaving with a full belly. I hope the same for you!

On the evening of Sunday, August 30th, 2025, we ordered 4 large "pollo guisado" aka "stewed…read morechicken" dinners with white rice and habichuela beans with a side of lettuce/tomato salad for $13.99 each meal and 1 large side order of "habichuelas" aka "beans" for $10.50 for pick up via phone. SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS OF WHAT THEY GAVE US BELOW. However, when my husband got to the store and AFTER he already PAID for the food order, the front cashier/clerk told him she had sold out of the white rice and that he had to wait an additional 25 minutes as she was making another batch of white rice. The problem is that this was NOT DISCLOSED TO US until he got to the store--and ONLY AFTER he had already paid for the whole order. This was an inconvenience for all of us because we had ordered the 4 dinners nearly over 30 minutes PRIOR to heading to pick up the dinners. Our meals should have been set aside by the cashier or helper, not wait until AFTER he got to the store and ONLY AFTER he paid AND left her a 15% tip for a PICK-UP ORDER to let us know they ran out of white rice. Had the store worker told him BEFORE him paying, he could have made the choice of leaving or waiting for an additional 25 mins. They should have given him the CHOICE to decide what WE WANTED to do, not FORCE us to pay then force him to wait an additional 25 minutes for the 4 dinners, which conveniently benefitted the cashier/clerk and store as they made sure they got the purchase sale through BEFORE letting us know they were out of the white rice! Later, when we got the 4 large dinners at $13.99 each, the LARGE order portions were very SMALL. The stewed chicken portions were small, the beans that were put on top of the white rice were less than 1/4 of a cup and mostly bean juice, and the side salad was extra small. Additionally, the almost $11 large side order of beans was 1/2 filled with beans and 1/2 filled with bean juice. This is NOT acceptable and very unprofessional. Therefore, due to this unfortunate cashier/clerk's decision of not notifying us that they ran out of white rice PRIOR to us paying for the 4 dinners, plus filling less than 1/2 portion of the 1 large beans container--and then, giving us only SMALL portions of all contents in our 4 large chicken stew order meals along with only 1/4 cup of beans on top of the rice with an extra small salad, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND ordering large dinners from Cibao Restaurant at 383 Amherst Street, in Nashua, NH. So, if you are looking for delicious tasting Dominican & Puerto Rican style well priced food, we recommend ordering from DON QUIJOTE RESTAURANT (+1-603-622-2246, at 362 Union Street, Manchester, NH, https://www.donquijoteunion.com/ . Don Quijote restaurant's food is amazing! Their large portion comes with 3 tender skinless chicken thighs in tomato with garlic, green pepper, onion, seasoned sauce with lots of great tasting habichuela beans and rice with a side order of salad. Don Quijote will give you what you paid for and serve you will actually get a large portion serving with their orders. Trust me, they send you so much food you'll have enough leftover for a second meal vs the other place (Cibao Restaurant) which leaves you wondering why they under serve their paying customers.

The decor is industrial with the stone, metal and wood, earth tones, very modern and yet feels cozy and warm with the combination of the colors, lighting and art. There's ample seating at round tables and also a couple high tables to stand at. A long bar where all the food is served buffet style. There are restrooms just down the hall too so very convenient. There's cool wall art murals which make for a great backdrop and very artsy!! The food was really good too - charcuterie meats, cheese, fruit, meatballs, olives, eggplant caponata, hummus and crackers. Our server Catherine was the best. My first time here, she helped me navigate the menu and wine list. She was very attentive and friendly. FOOD: Outstanding! I tried several tapas options and I enjoyed every single one. My favorite was the lemon hummus - YUM! But the olives, patatas bravas, and hamachi crudo were pretty darn tasty! High recommend for this place - I was surprised to find out it was part of a chain, but it feels like its own local restaurant.
