The upper level is larger with faster go-karts, while the lower level is a smaller track that's perfect for junior racers. Since I brought my daughters, we chose the junior track, and it was a great fit. Each racing session includes eight laps, and the operation runs very efficiently. As soon as one group finishes, the next group is loaded onto the track, so there isn't much downtime. After each race, everyone receives a printout with their race statistics and final rankings, which adds a fun, competitive touch. The facility has a nice observation area with plenty of seating for spectators. They also offer carnival-style food and snacks like chicken nuggets, French fries, cotton candy, slushies, and drinks. In the back, there are arcade games to keep everyone entertained while waiting for their race. Check-in was quick and easy using self-service kiosks. If you've raced before, you simply sign in. New drivers can register in just a few minutes, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable throughout the process. One thing I really appreciated was the focus on safety. My younger daughter was bumped during her race, and the go-karts stopped immediately. The staff quickly came over to check on her and made sure she was okay before asking if she wanted to continue. The price was about $80 per racer. We paid separately for additional food for spectators. These go carts are electric, so no smell & pretty quiet. A few things to note, racers need to be at least 48 inches tall & if you have more than twelve racers you then split into two groups. Also, K1 has an Arrive & Drive option for just racing, it's first come first serve. The day we went was for a birthday. After checking in racers registered & signed waivers after which they got balaclavas & helmets. Instructions were given but it was rather hard to hear. Our racers had a blast...they loved it - it was a great experience. Right after racing our lunch was ready, it was served buffet style. We choose Cheese & Pepperoni Pizzas, BBQ & Buffalo Chicken Wings & soft drinks. There were no salad or vegan options. The pizza was good, however the wings were even better & delicious. It was easy to pick up and an absolute blast. The venue also has a bar-and-restaurant atmosphere, so you can grab drinks or a bite to eat before or after racing. Just keep in mind you can't eat while you're actively racing, so it's best to plan accordingly. Another nice bonus is that F1 Arcade offers a military discount, which we always appreciate seeing. Whether you're a racing fan or just looking for something different to do with friends or family, F1 Arcade is a fantastic experience. The minimum is about a $50 charge, you can't go alone/have to have at least 2 people, and online it says that's 5 games & also says that's 45 mins. There's also a lull reload time in between games, so you're also paying for that time not racing and just waiting. They do have a happy hour, so that's cool. I wonder if they get busy for that, but it is only M-F from 3-6. There is currently beer, wine, and a couple of cocktails for $5 - $8 and a few snacky food items for $8. I guess they'll always have the restaurant and corporate packages, if that's enough business. As a regular person, it's a pretty expensive night out between the game package price, food, drinks. They even have some cocktails priced at $23+, come on, people! Why don't we just charge $50 a drink? I don't know how people are affording to go out at the full prices anymore. I'd def hit it up for happy hour again, but that would be it for me.

If you ask nice they will even let you have your party time in the room at the end of your stay. You have the option to pay for unlimited rides or you can buy individual tickets for the rides you want. Since most of the rides would have made me vomit at this age, I was happy to pay $2.50 for a train ride around the lake. Jerry, the guy running the train, was fantastic! He really seems to love his job and his enthusiasm is contagious. I did think it was odd that on the list of rules as you line up to pay, it says no photos are allowed. BIZARRE.
