We came for a family racing day and had a great time! We purchased two racing sessions for the go-karts. They offer both an upper and lower track. The upper level is larger with faster go-karts, while the lower level is a smaller track that's perfect for junior racers. Since I brought my daughters, we chose the junior track, and it was a great fit. Each racing session includes eight laps, and the operation runs very efficiently. As soon as one group finishes, the next group is loaded onto the track, so there isn't much downtime. After each race, everyone receives a printout with their race statistics and final rankings, which adds a fun, competitive touch. The facility has a nice observation area with plenty of seating for spectators. They also offer carnival-style food and snacks like chicken nuggets, French fries, cotton candy, slushies, and drinks. In the back, there are arcade games to keep everyone entertained while waiting for their race. Check-in was quick and easy using self-service kiosks. If you've raced before, you simply sign in. New drivers can register in just a few minutes, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable throughout the process. One thing I really appreciated was the focus on safety. My younger daughter was bumped during her race, and the go-karts stopped immediately. The staff quickly came over to check on her and made sure she was okay before asking if she wanted to continue. That level of attention was reassuring and showed they take safety seriously. The only downside is that it gets pretty loud inside with the music, so you may have to raise your voice to have a conversation. Other than that, it has a fun, energetic atmosphere that's great for families, friends, and anyone looking for an exciting outing. Super fun and cool experience, they do require a head covering for thr helmets, and there are two tracks to choose from. They do make you wait until multiple people want to be on thr track. They have a bar upstairs and plenty tables to wait at and also a viewing area. It would be cool if they let smaller groups go instead of having to wait and race against those more experienced. Went here a few days ago and it was fun. We had 5 people in the group that was racing. It's an easy way to kill time and blow some money. There is a bar upstairs for you to have drinks in between races. The track upstairs seems a little smaller then the one down stairs. When you walk in the doors the lines to check in were packed. But you walk in pay then you wait till it's your turn to race. They will Call your group number on the loud speaker that your in before so you have time to get there. The one thing that I liked about this racing is when you hit a car or a bumper on the side they will make sure everything is all good they slow all the cars down with a remote then go check on that driver then by ac touch of a button ask the cars go fast again. If I could give 3.5 star I would, but I can't so I had to 3 stars unfortunately. My children love go-karting and do it any opportunity they can (usually on vacations or when it's cold outside and we can find an indoor track). We finally decided to go to overdrive (the prices really made us debate it for awhile). While we still feel the prices are a bit high for what you're getting, it's still fun. The wait times are incredibly long (came on a Saturday) in between races as well. An hour in between each race makes it really hard to do the package deal that saves you money. The only consolation is that they allow you to use your races on another day (for the package deals) if you're unable to use them all up the day you come. The person running the races stopped the races seriously no less than 10 times while they did their 8 laps. It was hard for them to get momentum. We will be back to use our other races we were unable to use due to scheduling issues, and will update the review again if anything changes. read more

Our family had an incredible time at Overdrive thanks to James! He set up special time for our disabled son to be able to ride in the Duo Kart (a side by side Kart) with me and race against his sister and nurse. At our request he was able to restrict the speed to a slow safe speed to accommodate our son (who could not tolerate a helmet due to his special needs). Decided to try this place out for a fun day date with my husband. Absolutely loved the atmosphere. They offer 3 different race tracks for different skill levels, also have a small arcade and full bar which was awesome. We opted for the speed track located upstairs and had a great time. The tracks were nice but my nephews car broke down several times. So his race time could have been better if the equipment had not Failed. This place is AWESOME!!! We took our daughter here for some quality time and fun, and we sure did have a blast. We each opted for the 3 Pack of Races on the Agility track, our daughter is not 16 so we were unable to go on the Speed Track with her. The 3 pack is a good deal considering one race sets you back $22, and if you go for the 3 Pack you save a few dollars at $59 (And you get a free drink and a slice of pizza). Seriously it is really hard to do just one race, especially if you have never been. Our daughter is tall enough to do the adult races which was great because they have different Go-Karts for the smaller kids, and this way we were all able to race together. These Go-Karts are FAST!!! They are also a bit hard to steer, it definitely takes some getting use to and you have to use some muscle for sure. The agility track has a few hair pin turns that can be difficult, but overall the course is a lot of fun. Our daughter whooped us on the first race, she was a natural. We were able to get in on the next race fairly quickly. Each time there were only a couple of races between our races. We got there before 6PM on a Saturday and it was not horribly busy so we must of lucked out. Though by the time we left it was fairly busy. The upstairs had the Speed track, these races are a couple of dollars more than down stairs. There is a full bar and a pool table up there too, and a bit more adult oriented with a DJ and club vibe going. I really want to come back and try this track, my husband and I plan on doing a date night here. Also apparently you can drink and drive, obviously not at the same time though and there are rules so if you break em they will kick ya off the course (So don't go getting all crazy on the juice, if ya know what I mean). read more

I have mixed feelings about this indoor track. To start my husband and I missed our race upstairs because it was at the same time as our kids. We were not sure why we all got booked on top of each other on a busy Saturday with races going all the time. We did get to get in another race after that. My husbands cart broke. I got hit hard and thrown into the wall several times and the track staff just gave them warnings and it still happened. We came as I was a recipient of tickets donated to VetTix and after this experience we will try other track out. I Personally, did not enjoy my track time and felt that I was "interfering" with the group of guys in my heat that were "racing" each other and driving crazy with NO consequences and it's hard to enjoy a track when you get "slowed to 1/2 pace" or thrown into the wall on nearly all 12 laps. One redeeming factor is how great they were with encouraging my son to try it out since it was his first time and he was very anxious. read more

Heat number 72, at about 6pm on 1/1/19 they increased the power for one kart giving an unfair advantage. This individual did a full 1.5 secs faster lap then 2nd place. This was an amazing experience, me and my family went on the Adult Pepsi course, it was fun, the go-carts go very fast, they went 40mph, the turns are very fun to drift around (Be careful if you drift, might stop your go-cart for a cool second) its sucks you have to pay $5 for a head sock, another thing is, the go-cart track they have upstairs goes 5mph extra and the course is different but you have to be 16+, still a great place to go if you want to go to a very fast go-cart track, kids will love the experience, if your kid is 12 and under they have to drive the 20mph, but if they are 13+ they can drive the 40mph, if you do go HAVE FUN! ( Honestly I don't they need a 3 star, yes its a bit pricey, but you really will have so much fun, they deserve a 4,9 star, it was really a great place) read more

The best Go-Cart experience EVER! The Go-carts go pretty fast, probably around 40mph. There's a track for smaller kids, and then another for people 54 inches/13 years old. There's also a track upstairs that you can access if you have a driver's license. On the main level there are a few arcade games. But really you go for the Go-carts! First off when you come to the door it says masks are required, but I saw no enforcement of said requirements! Several people were mask less or wearing their masks inefficiently, including several of the workers! Second when we checked in at 600pm they told us an hour and a half, our first group (junior)did not race until after 800pm and our second group(adult) was after 900pm. Can't remember the last time I formally went go karting, but enjoyed this place for a good outing. The electric go karts really do zip around and have a decent amount of speed to them that'll surprise a lot of amateur drivers. There are 2 tracks (upper level speed track and main floor agility track) which you get to choose from. Race heats have up to 8 people and are divided up by age groups, adults and children separated. The staff are accommodating and friendly to help out first timers to make them feel comfortable. They also try do their best to make sure the slower drivers stay out of the way of of faster ones. One downside is that the agility track is shorter and narrow making passing to achieve fast times really difficult. It's fun being able to get printouts at the end of each heat that show your lap times, top speed and results vs the competition. Prices are reasonable per person if you purchase the 3 pack deal of races for a small party, and plus they give you a voucher for either a free drink or hotdog. read more

Went out with some of my buddies last night to Overdrive Raceway. It was really fun, and a rush. We did two races on the "speed track" upstairs. Each time I finished I thought "Holy crap that was fun!" Karts are electric and were really really fast. The staff is friendly and do their best to make sure you're squared away for the race. The facility is clean, modern and welcoming. Upstairs they have a full bar - beer prices are ok but not great. Overdrive has drink and food specials, last night was $4 Moscow Mules and $5 margaritas. I can't bring myself to rate them 4-5 stars because it's freaking expensive. $20 per race. So $20 for 5 or so minutes of fun. I'll visit again, but going to a movie or something might beat Overdrive out for a date night. read more
